Acorns at USW Treforest

Absolutely love the nursery - amazing staff, facilities, equipment, and menu choices. My daughter has been attending for 1 year and the development we have seen in her has been incredible. Choosing a nursery to send her to during the height of lockdown was tough, but the team at Acorns USW put us right at ease and saw my daughter settle in perfectly. She is happy to run in in the mornings and is all smiles when we pick her up each day! Choosing Acorns USW has been the best decision we've made!

Fantastic for my daughter, really brought her out of her shell considering she was born during the pandemic and therefore had a lack of social experience with other children. Staff really friendly and accommodating, activities are brilliant and it's lovely when she brings home what's she's made and seeing her day via the app. Facilities are good given the history of the nursery. Meals are really good, well-balanced and the variety is fantastic. Price is quite high, however, it has been worth it. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Home away from home for my daughter. The staff are amazing, friendly, caring, and handing over my daughter to them puts me at ease knowing she is cared for and made to feel at home. I love seeing my daughter's knowledge, understanding and manners progress every day thanks to her days spent at USW Acorns. Acorns at USW Treforest is an outstanding nursery. My daughter has been attending for over three years. Despite moving further away from the nursery and no longer travelling in the direction of Acorns at USW Treforest for work, I have decided to keep my daughter here as this nursery excels in every aspect. My daughter is always more than happy to go into nursery, even asking if she can stay when I pick her up after a full day! The staff are so friendly, helpful my daughter has learnt invaluable skills during her time here, my daughter is constantly learning new things with the monthly themes and is always so enthusiastic about the topics with so much to tell me after her day at nursery. The management, along with all staff members are always so helpful and supportive. Acorns at USW Treforest has an excellent ethos and my daughter and I will be very sad to leave once she starts school. I could not have asked for a better environment for my daughter to be looked after and grown up in during her first years of life.

From the moment my son drops off my grandson, he is super excited. He has been attending for nine months and the difference in him is a credit to the fantastic staff. The outdoor space and facilities are of the highest standard. It's beautiful and clean and the food is absolutely stunning. The management team are so professional.

My daughter chose this nursery for my granddaughter by a recommendation. Every time I either take or pick up my granddaughter there is always a warm, friendly welcome greeted by the management team. As I can't come into the nursery due to covid restrictions the management team gets one of the staff from the room to hand over. Again the staff are so welcoming and make good professional communication which makes me feel at ease at drop off, knowing my granddaughter is in good hands. The staff go above and beyond in the roles and my granddaughter loves it there. She brings home a lot of crafts and also love the idea of the app where my daughter can see what fun she's been doing in nursery throughout the day. This is a beautiful nursery with good outdoor space and large rooms inside. The staff look very smart, clean and professional. I can't thank Acorns enough for all they do.

My children have both attended Acorns USW. I am extremely happy with the care that's provided. I am always informed about what has gone on throughout the day. Both my children love coming to nursery, they always have big smiles and run in without looking back. All staff are friendly, professional and caring which makes the drop off so much easier.

Both my boys come to this nursery and every day we are so pleased we made the decision to send them here. The staff are so caring and nurturing. It feels like I'm leaving them with family members (but with the extra bonus of the safe and nurturing learning through play environment). Our boys love it. They're always so happy to go in and my toddler can't wait to tell me what he's done at the end of the day. Very very happy and couldn't recommend it enough. Both boys bring home craft activities almost every day and there are regular photo uploads on the app too so I can see what they are doing in the environment. They are always so happy/engrossed in tasks. The forest schools area is gorgeous too and my toddler loves it. Such a bonus to have a lovely outdoor environment. They also have a great, healthy menu and are introduced to healthy dishes that I don't always have time to cook.

Acorns at USW Treforset is by far one of the best establishments for childcare. My child has been attending for a month and has already developed so much thanks to his keys carers and everyone at Acorns. He loves going and will always go in and come back with a smile on his face and as a parent, the fact he is happy and loves going to see everyone at the nursery is what is more important.

I would definitely place my children in this nursery setting as I love the forest school where I know they would receive brilliant outdoor experiences.

What a wonderful nursery! The outdoor facilities are fantastic. forest school is better than I have seen anywhere else. The resources and equipment they provide are worth every penny and I pay for my child to attend. Bravo to all the hard-working staff.

Staff have been excellent with our daughter who is currently in the process of being diagnosed with autism. They have also been very helpful and supportive with me and my partner regarding different things we can do to help her. Location is ideal. Really suits our daughter's needs with the layout of the nursery.

Structured daily activities (inside and out).

There is always a warm welcome when we arrive and the atmosphere is always good in the rooms. All the children are happy and well cared for. My child enjoys their days at nursery and it's lovely to see the bond they have developed with staff.

I don't know where I would be without their continuous support.

The nursery environment is so welcoming and friendly. All of the staff are welcoming and say hello to my daughter. My daughter settled immediately and enjoys her time there. I cannot praise the provision enough.
