Acorns at USW Treforest

Choosing Acorns at USW Treforest was the best decision we made for our family. Our little girl has flourished there over the last year. I truly believe that the staff go above and beyond to make the whole place a secure and loving environment. She eats an amazing variety of foods, she sleeps fantastically, she does so much (I can't keep up with her on home days!) and she has grown in confidence. To create a space where they are comforting (and full of fun) but still extremely professional is such a talent. I would be remiss without mentioning how immaculate but still so inviting and homely it is. As a parent, I feel they treat you as part of the team, nothing ever feels too much bother and they put you at ease if you are feeling anxious or worried about anything. The manager has the most infectious smile and is so much fun. She has such a natural charisma and enthusiasm which is exactly what you need to be greeted with every morning! Thank you all for everything you do.

My daughter loves attending Acorns USW, it is a wonderful nursery run by a welcoming and caring team of nursery nurses. She takes part in a wide range of activities throughout her day and always comes home with a smile on her face.

My daughter has recently started attending this nursery and I have found all the staff to be very comforting and reassuring throughout the whole settling-in process. She now loves going to nursery every day and always has a smile on her face when I collect her.

I cannot thank the staff at Acorns enough for everything over the last few years. I could not have picked a better nursery for my children. Absolutely everything about Acorns is outstanding from the love and support to the daily activities and food. It is all amazing.

Second to none experience here, all staff were so friendly, it was like dropping our children off to family! I can’t thank all the staff enough for the care provided. The food menu was top-notch, and always new activities being carried out!

Acorns Nursery is a great place to send your child. Different activities every day. Helpful staff. Great food. Absolutely amazing food.

August was our final month at Acorns USW before leaving for school. The staff have been fantastic. The graduation was brilliant and although my child has learning difficulties he was fully included. Well done to the manager and the team for all their hard work.

This is by far the best nursery I have ever used. As a mother of 3 children I have experience with other nursery over the past 15 years and this one surpasses them all. From the manager to the room staff across babies to pre school they are faultless. Nothing is too much bother, the time and effort given to meeting my daughters' individual needs has been second to none. Well done Acorns highly recommended! If I could give a higher rating than 5, I would!

Acorns at USW Treforest Day Nursery has been amazing with our daughter. She started there when she was 9 months old and left aged 3. The support, care and compassion shown have been fantastic. Always encouraging her and offering great support for us, as a family. We will be sorry not to see everyone again but we can't thank everyone enough.

Amazing! The staff couldn’t be friendlier! My little boy loves his days at nursery and we would be lost without them! I know that he is having fun, learning lots and is in the best hands with them all.

My child has come on leaps and bounds since being at Acorns at USW. They have amazing things going on throughout the year and get us involved with their collaborative system, sending in photos and crafts that are displayed in the nursery for all to see. They do a load of celebrations for things around the world and they put on parties for things such as Father’s Day etc, which is lovely to see him playing in an environment so homely and where he feels comfortable. The food there is amazing made freshly in-house and any enquires we have had, the chef has been very accommodating, as my child can be quite fussy. They have wonderful resources for the children to learn and play from, and my child has learned so much since being there. My child won’t be going anywhere else until he starts school and then we will be looking at doing Acorns action park as the whole company seems very professional and the heart of what they do is the children’s welfare and their standard of care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We have constant updates over the app of their activities for the day and it lovely to see him learn and grow! Since being at Acorns, he has become so sociable and independent and it’s lovely to know he is in amazing care. We have been quite picky with routines but the girls have listened to us throughout the whole six months we have been there and through his food stages.

Saying we will miss you all is an understatement.

Coming to collect him and seeing your nurses dancing and singing their hearts out in the classrooms is so heartwarming, the engagement with the children is second to none. We will all be incredibly sad as a family, to leave your outstanding care, sadly as little one starts school out of the area, he will have to start a new nursery. I would like to thank the team for all of their hard work in helping our little man grow.

I am very particular about who I allow to care for my child, however, I am confident in knowing that my daughter is consistently cared for and safe when attending Acorns at USW Treforest.

Communication is always open and capturing photos are wonderful for parents.

My son has been at Acorns USW for 6 months, he settled in so well at the nursery all thanks to the amazing staff who are so caring and helpful. I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done for me and my son and how much they have built his confidence and development. USW is such a welcoming nursery and makes you feel so comfortable and heard.

My daughter has recently started at Acorns USW and the staff made the whole process as painless as possible, they ensured they had all the information they needed about my little girl to make her day as home from home as possible. My daughter has many dietary requirements and the colour-coded plate system have put my mind at ease. The outdoor facilities are fantastic and I’m very sure I chose the perfect setting for us! Thank you for the wonderful care you give to all the children in your care.

Acorns USW have been fantastic from the first time we met them. They welcomed our son in with open arms and instantly put us, as parents, at ease! Our son started aged 2 years and 11 months so it’s a tricky age to settle. Especially given he has some delays with his speech and language. The staff here have got to know him and work with him every day to help his communication and speech come along. He also has a number of food allergies and is fussy with his food. The staff and chef have gone above and beyond to try and find meals for him to cater to his needs but also foods that he’ll try! Our son didn’t settle well at a previous childcare setting and we had so many worries with him starting here. But now, our only regret is that we didn’t put him at Acorns USW from day 1! It’s no surprise why he loves it so much when you see how wonderful the staff members are, how amazing the facilities are and the lengths that staff go to to help the children settle. We cannot thank them enough!
