Bright Horizons Farnham Day is a beautiful nursey offering outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Located on Wilkinson Way, between David Lloyd Farnham and Farnham Rugby Club, the nursery offers on-site parking and a buggy storage area, ensuring drop-off and pick-up times are as safe and convenient as possible.

They have rooms that are dedicated to all ages, to support your child’s individual development.

The separate baby room for children up to 18 months old offers age-appropriate toys and their own baby garden to explore the outdoors in a safe and fun environment.

In their preschool room, the little explorers are encouraged to be independent while still being guided, and when the time comes for them to join the ready-for-school room, the children will be taught the skills to further support them and their parents with the important transition to school.

The nursery’s garden is a beautiful expansive outdoor area designed for all ages to play in a safe environment with a sheltered sandpit and a climbing frame. The nursery also boasts a cornered off area for their four chickens. The children love patting the friendly chickens and learning how to look after them.

At Bright Horizons they understand the importance of community enrichment and take the children on regular walks to enjoy and become familiar with their local surroundings. They also visit local nursing homes on a fortnightly basis, with youth and wisdom both benefiting and learning from each other.

The nursery is a very important part of the life of our daughter. She has built very good relationships with teachers and children. English is her second language and she was able to improve it since she started the nursery in July 2017, she gains more words every week. She likes to spend time there
and during weekends she asks when can I drive her to the nursery. We definitely see improvement in her knowledge and day to day life - she learns a lot - big thanks to the teachers of Farnham Day Nursery.

We moved our Daughter to Bright Horizons in Farnham, from her previous nursery, for her preschool year.
When we first visited the nursery over the Summer it was being furnished and being prepared for its opening.
Now in October and having experienced our first two months, I can honestly say that
we are all so happy.
Our Daughter is so happy and very proud to be at her new nursery.
She is very stimulated with the Bright Horizons programme. On top of this, the staff led by the manageress are so happy, friendly and caring - from the moment you step through the door. We are in very good hands.
It is a very positive and professional environment and our Daughter has met some lovely friends who are all so supportive towards each other.
It is really a very nice atmosphere and we are so pleased and happy with our decision. We couldn't speak highly enough of Bright Horizons Farnham and would recommend to any other family without hesitation.

Our son started at Bright Horizons at the start of September 2017, and I am delighted with the decision we made for him to go there. We had previously used another Bright Horizons nursery so our expectations were high - everyone from the manager down has exceeded those expectations.
Being brand new,
the setting itself is amazing. The outside space is the best in the area by a long way. All the staff are so caring and really get to know the children as individuals. Our son has already built a strong bond with the staff in his room and is clearly happy to arrive there each morning.
The food is another real plus point. The chef at the nursery has really supported our son - being quite young, he can't always eat what the other children have, especially sandwiches or wraps, so he has an alternative pureed meal to make sure he's well fed.
Overall, we cannot recommend Bright Horizons highly enough and are very pleased that our son will remain there until he moves on to primary school.

We couldn't be more pleased with Bright Horizons in Farnham. Our daughter has now been attending for six weeks and in that time she has settled in well and enjoyed all the great benefits of the nursery. The facilities are brand new and there is so much for the children to do. The freeflow doors in and
out of the playground is a great idea and the classrooms always feel fresh and airy. Our daughter was transitioning to BH from a previous nursery and the staff have all done everything they can to ensure a happy transition. She feels confident and always runs in with a smile on her face. The facilities are exemplary inside and out, including a mini kitchen! But the primary reason for recommending this nursery is the kindness and capabilities of the staff. Everyone is always friendly and helpful, and the administration has been very straightforward. The Head and Deputy are both clearly outstanding and all the staff we've met have been exemplary.

It's hard to express exactly how good this nursery is but, in short, it's really really good! From the moment you walk in the door there's a warm, face to face welcome and always a bright greeting (they know all the children and even siblings - by name). Great care is taken to look after not only the
children but the parents too. The team clearly know that most parents have already climbed a mountain by 7:30 am in getting their kids up, ready and out the door because when you arrive, they leap up to make your handover smooth and stress-free. Doors are opened for you, parents are supported in unloading cars and children, then off you skip feeling somehow better than when you arrived. On pickup, it's touching that each member of staff knows exactly what sort of day your child has had, and takes the time to share with you the little intricacies and anecdotes of what they've been up to - so you almost feel you were there. We're so pleased we moved our (now 1year old) daughter here and can't recommend it enough!

My child started at the nursery when it opened in June. From the start, all the staff really got to know my child and they fully understand her character. Everyone that has come to pick her up with me has commented on the fact that the staff all know her, which is brilliant. The staff are always pleased
to see her.
The facilities are brilliant - loads of space, inside and out. I love the communication between myself and the key workers, it is nice to know they are teaching them manners and developing her language which has improved so much since she started in June.
My biggest concern when starting nursery was her eating but I have no concerns now as the staff have so much patience with her that she seems to eat everything now which has helped with eating at home.
I am glad that we chose to come here as it is getting my daughter the best start in her life skills and education.

I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Farnham Day Nursery. They have been looking after my 1-year-old twin daughters since they opened in June and the girls absolutely love it there and have really blossomed into confident happy young toddlers. The key workers have quickly been able to tell the
difference and have grasped their different personalities - and I can tell that they really care about them. No two days are the same in terms of activities and a good mix of indoor and outdoor play. The food is healthy and balanced plus they are teaching the girls to be independent with eating.


The team have also been incredibly supportive to me and go that extra mile to help me carry one of them to and from the car to save me lugging my double buggy in and out. I also love the fact that on pick up no matter how busy they are, I get a debrief of what each girl has been up to.


I saw a number of local nurseries before I chose Bright Horizons Farnham Day Nursery and Preschool and this knocks spots off the others!

My 8-month-old daughter recently started to attend Bright Horizons Farnham for morning sessions Monday to Friday, working up to full time later on this year. I was naturally quite nervous about starting this process, especially given that this is my first child. I shouldn't have worried though, as my
daughter has settled into her new routine so easily and I can genuinely see that she looks forward to attending each morning. The entire team are so warm and friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate the individual needs of each child. The facilities are brand new and far above anything else I toured in the surrounding areas. There is a huge outdoor space with sandpits, climbing frames and soft play materials. For me, the best thing about this nursery is that it feels like a home away from home. My daughter is happy, playing with new exciting things, socialising with other children and enjoying tasty healthy meals. I cannot speak highly enough of Bright Horizons Farnham.

Put quite simply- I cannot recommend Bright Horizons Farnham highly enough.
My son has recently been diagnosed with ASD, so needs some extra individual attention with his targets. Nothing has been too much trouble for the team there, they are so accepting of his little quirks.


Having recently moved

from another local nursery the positive difference in my son is marked. I particularly like that they impress upon the children good manners and clearing up after themselves after meals. The parent communication is also fantastic and the facilities speak for themselves.
Whilst this may not be the cheapest nursery in the area, I wholeheartedly believe with nurseries you get what you pay for in these vital early years, my son gets so much out of his days there.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Tracy has been with Bright Horizons for over a year, bringing with her over 25 years of experience in childcare and an NNEB qualification. She has taken on various roles, from Nursery Nurse to Senior Manager, motivated by her strong belief in the significance of early years in children's lives and development. Her dedication to creating nurturing environments where children can thrive has been a key aspect of her career in early years education. She takes great joy in observing the developmental milestones children reach through carefully planned activities.


With a zest for life, Tracy firmly believes that childcare should be both fun and educational. Her true passion lies in outdoor activities, where she sees children gaining invaluable experiences from being in nature. Building relationships and supporting her team are among her strengths.


Outside of work, Tracy enjoys building items from reclaimed wood, gardening, cooking, and socialising with friends and family.
