Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Exeter, Matford Green

My two boys both attend Kiddi Carru (ages 1 and 2). I am very happy about the care provided at the nursery. They are always happy and have so many activities to complete. The nursery building is very safe and secure. The outdoor learning is fantastic! The rooms are well thought out, modern, and well resourced. The staff are friendly and care about the children. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

My overall experience of Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Exeter, Matford Green has been really excellent. Our daughter really enjoys her days there and the staff are kind, enthusiastic and caring. Their sensible approach to inevitable winter coughs and colds that all toddlers will have has been appreciated. It has meant that my wife and I have not missed an enormous amount of work as other friends with children at other nurseries have.

Wonderful nursery. The facilities are excellent with a huge range of activities for the children, and the rooms are always clean and tidy. The security and safeguarding systems in place are excellent. The menus are healthy and varied, with really delicious sounding meals. The handover at the end of the day is very informative. However, the staff are the real heroes here, they are all caring, friendly, vigilant and they genuinely seem to enjoy looking after your child! A special shout out to two members of staff from the Caterpillar's room, and two other staff members from the McClary room, because they have all made my little one feel like Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Exeter, Matford Green is her second home, and always make me feel like they love to have her there! Of course thanks to three members of staff in the office, who keep everything running smoothly and are always so easy to approach and quick to respond to queries or problems. I feel very lucky that my daughter goes to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Exeter, Matford Green.

What a lovely little nursery my little boy loves his 2 days a week there. The staff that look after him are amazing and I’m really happy with the nursery. I would highly recommend the nursery to family and friends.

My son thoroughly enjoys nursery. He is always talking about his friends and the teachers and what he has been up to. He is learning lots and I am always seeing fantastic videos uploaded of him. Thank you for making his time special.

My daughter has attended Kiddi Caru at Matford since she was two years old. We had a bad experience at another nursery and were worried how she would cope with starting somewhere new especially as we were in the pandemic. The manager took her time to show us around the nursery and answer any concerns and worries we had. My daughter was really relaxed as we toured the nursery and the manager involved her and interacted with her the whole time. The settling process was really good and the key worker took the time to get to know my daughter, which helped us feel more relaxed about leaving her. My daughter has formed a close bound with her key worker as well as other staff in the nursery. The transition from room to room was smooth and her new key worker has formed a close bound with my daughter as well. My daughter loves her time at nursery and often talks about the activities she has done. The handover is really good and staff take their time to inform you of your child's day.

This review is being submitted after a long, continued period of not being able to enter the building. This meaning I am unable to accurately rate the standard of the resources, cleanliness or facilities. At the time I last went in I would have said 'excellent'. I would like to have better communication about and to know the plan around my child transitioning into the next room now she is two. I am unable to know who my child’s friends are and I have not seen the manager or had a conversation with her in a long time so I wouldn't be able to comment on the quality of the management. The finance communication is good.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for two years and we are extremely happy with the care she receives. The facilities are excellent, always clean and well presented. The staff are welcoming and happy to take time to report how the day has been. They have also been fantastic during the pandemic, adapting quickly to changing guidelines and altering pick up and drop off regime to streamline for parents. I would highly recommend Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Exeter, Matford Green.

I can't fault anything at all. Lovely environment, fantastic daily feedback and handover. Staff always exemplary. Really looking forward to the restrictions being lifted and being able to see the little one playing when we pick him up!

My son is in owl babies and has been going since October 2020. Him being our first child, it is very scary passing your child across to a complete stranger. However, we got shown around by the manager, even during this pandemic when other nurseries wouldn’t. We got to see all of the nursery, not just the room that applies for him. His first settling session he loved and he has loved every day since. We like to believe that they love him too. We always hear positive things about him from all different members of the team. His current set key worker he is absolutely obsessed with. He gets very happy knowing he is going to nursery. Now I would happily leave him with her knowing he is getting the best care and attention possible. Brilliant team all round.

Activities are varied, interesting and something to suit all. Outdoor space is great, again varied and experimental. Food, well I haven't tasted it, but we hear about how nice it is often! Our daughter has made lots of friends and I wouldn't have sent her anywhere else.

My son, who is nearly 4, has been attending Kiddi Caru Matford Green since he was 11 months old and he has loved every minute if it. The staff are so friendly and caring. The activities are educational as well as fun. As a purpose built nursery, the facilities are exceptional - the outdoor play area in particular is fabulous, along with the sensory room. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone.

All the staff are so warm and friendly and welcoming and take time to make you feel like they genuinely care for your child as an individual. They are responsive to any questions or concerns raised. Our little one absolutely adores her time at nursery and has so much fun each day and has made some lovely friends!

An excellent nursery - from the friendly and caring staff to the first-class facilities we have always been very confident leaving our children in their care. A nursery should offer more than we as parents can, and I genuinely believe Kiddi Caru Matford does this. Our children are allowed to learn and develop surrounded by other children of similar ages. Regular updates through the online system are really helpful. The nursery staying open through COVID lockdowns has been a total lifesaver. Overall, couldn't recommend enough.

Fantastic clean nursery with an unbelievable amount of activities and resources for the kids. Always looks immaculate, and all staff super friendly and professional. This really is the luxury car of nursery childcare in my view, and our daughter is developing very well I feel.

Through her time at Kiddi Caru I have seen my daughter flourish. This is down to the hard work and dedication of all members of the team and the fantastic key workers that she has experienced. I would not hesitate in recommending the nursery to anyone looking for outstanding childcare.

My little girl has been going to Kiddi Caru Matford Green for over 2 years now. Kiddi Caru has helped in her development and confidence and she looks forward to going to nursery. They have always kept in touch with us as parents and shared everything with us.

This nursey is amazing. All the staff are super friendly and can't do anything more to make you feel reassured that your little one is going to have a fun-filled day as well as being looked after. My child eats like a queen, with delicious meals and comes home smiling after a great day. Couldn't recommend this place more.
