Brilliant nursery!
Both my children have attended Matford Green, and I have nothing bad to say about any aspect.
The staff are great and really care about your child (a lot of the staff still remember my first child even though they left three years ago).
The facilities are great but only marked
learning and resources as (four) as Covid impacted my first child’s “learning” as my oldest left just as they were getting to that age and my youngest yet to reach that point.
Communication is great, and the food is amazing! Definitely recommend!

We have been with Kiddi Caru at Matford for four years with my son, and now our daughter attends the nursery too. Even though this nursery was the best we have visited, all four years ago, over that time, they have continued to perfect their services. They have never failed to respond to calls and requests.
We always feel they know our children very well, and we have never gone unnoticed. Food is extremely well-balanced and nutritious. Kids always seemed to feel safe and cared for, knowing their environment and catering. The nursery has been extremely supportive of my son's transition to school and offers to communicate with the school directly to make sure they have got the best handover possible. When my daughter got serious health challenges, they went above and beyond to comfort us during the recovery process. Kiddi Caru has high standards for children’s health and safety. We are extremely grateful for their care and can highly recommend this setting.

The staff are so friendly and offer comprehensive updates on how the children have got on throughout the day. I like the app for live updates for naps/nappies/food etc. Parking can be tricky at busy times but generally ok.

Both our girls have thrived under the care of this team. A well-led, dynamic and caring team. Each room takes time to individually get to know your child. The environment is safe and stimulating.
We have loved our choice of nursery and couldn’t have had higher praise for the dedication to our children.

Our son has been at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery since he was just over a year old. The staff in every room have been wonderful with him and he has developed into a sweet, gregarious little boy under their care. The nursery organise many excellent activities for the children including taking them on outings,
looking after the guinea pigs, watching eggs hatch and caring for the chicks in the spring and currently a diversity education course which has been happening weekly with an outside company who have been teaching him all about the world and all the amazing cultures around it. The menu is excellent and they manage to get him to try things he would never consider at home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

I thought that we would get a sales pitch at the nursery because we couldn't get much info without booking a viewing. Turns out there is no sales pitch because once you see the facilities, nothing else will come close. Also, the staff are super sweet. My kids love it there. It's amazing.

Great facilities. Brilliant staff updates from the day and advice for how to deal with certain behaviours on collection. Could use a few more parking spaces in the car park. Seem to do lots of creative activities which is great.

I currently have two children at Kiddi Caru Exeter, Matford Green. I can’t emphasize enough what this team of incredible teachers and carers have done to support my family. We relocated from London in July, and since my children started in September they have provided nothing but support and kindness.
They are such a talented team, showing great enthusiasm when discussing the children and their development. They are all so professional, but on the same level are treating my family and I like members of their own. I can feel confident that my children are cared for every minute that they are at Kiddi Caru. They are fed nutritious meals, educated through arts, crafts, messy play and much more. They enjoy the generous outdoor space, with amazing playground facilities. The administration is second to none in terms of organisation and information provided. A great environment for the children to learn and play right the way up to preschool level. I can’t recommend Kiddi Caru Matford highly enough.

I’ve been really happy with this nursery so far. My child took a while to settle but is now really enjoying it, especially since moving to the Peepo room. I find it hard as a parent not being able to see what is going on behind closed doors and trusting someone unknown to look after your child especially
when they cry at drop off but I feel confident that she is well looked after. The staff are very informative about her day at pick up, it’s really lovely to know how she has got on and I really like using Famly to see what she has been up to, what she has eaten etc. It’s not the cheapest nursery but they do cover long days and offer a varied menu that also caters for allergies, they change her bum regularly and she comes home in dry clean clothes (I send her spare clothes in so she can get messy but I’m glad they change her to keep her comfortable). They have also been very good when she has needed medication. She’s only been there a few months but so far so good!

My son has only been at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery for roughly 3 months (nursery closure meant having to find a new one). I was a little nervous at first due to the number of children that would be in the Pre school. He was a little hesitant the first couple of weeks with a few tears (from both of us) but
he is thriving, the staff are just wonderful, thoughtful and caring. He has settled in so well, and I love seeing his little happy face when I pick him up. The facilities are lovely, all the modern bits and bobs. Beautiful outside setting with lots of space to explore. I love that they have resident animals to help teach the children. Everyone has been so amazing with us, and they all look so happy to be there. Thank you so much.

Our daughter went to Kiddi Caru since she was one and a half, the development we have seen in her is absolutely incredible, all staff are polite, well presented and professional but also have the human personal touch and, most importantly, clearly care about the children's every need. We really got
the feeling that they would do anything and everything for the children, we loved the regular updates on the parent app. The site was safe, secure and maintain really well so you got the feeling that it is carried on throughout the building.
Matford Green really is a credit to the whole company, we are enrolling our newborn asap. Thanks again Matford Green team.

Both of our daughters attended Kiddi Caru at Matford from around 11 months old and have now started school. Our eldest started when the nursery had just opened it's doors and we chose the setting because of the great facilities and fantastic outdoor space! When number two came along we didn't even consider
anywhere else. Apparently the food there is better than my cooking (if you trust a child's opinion!)
I never felt any hesitation in leaving my girls in the care of the team and on the (very rare) occasion, where one had a wobble, they were always patient and took the time to reassure the child that they were going to have a great day (which they always did!)
We are sad that our Kiddi Caru days are over, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery for their little ones! We miss you already!

The staff at this Kiddi Caru, in particular, are so invested in the children and their development and also make a welcoming and solid relationship with parents too. Couldn’t ask for a better place to send my child. Not a bad word to say about Matford.

Our daughter seems to love the nursery, she's always very willing to go in and smiley when we collect her. Her keyworkers are lovely and give us plenty of updates when we get her. The nursery itself seems very clean and the facilities are good. Overall we're very happy.

My daughter loves going into the nursery and has particularly enjoyed the last few weeks where staff have gone above and beyond to bring a range of animals into the nursery to support the topic of spring. The range of activities means she is always coming home and sharing what she has been up to during
the day. I really like that as a nursery the outdoor space is so large and this is used on a daily basis.
The staff are really friendly and willing to answer questions. I think it is great that recipes, activities and resources are shared with so the children can share their learning with home.

Fantastic nursery! My toddler is very happy there and she’s taken care of brilliantly well. The staff are all lovely, attentive, and communicative. There are plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained all day - the outdoor space and the sensory room are particular highlights.

  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
