Shoreham Day Nursery & Pre-school

My 2 nephews and my niece have all attended A Step Ahead Shoreham over the last few years and have absolutely loved their time there! My niece has just left to go to school, and the nursery supported her so much with being school ready. The communication was great, we loved seeing pictures of their day on the app, and they equally enjoyed seeing them to when they got home and we talked about what they have been up to. The staff were always friendly, and we truly felt reassured that they were in good hands and having the best day! My youngest nephew is due to start in January, and we cannot wait for him to start his adventure there too!

Both my children attended A Step Ahead Shoreham. We have been so happy that despite moving to Lancing we still sent them there. The staff have a real personal connection with the children and both of my children loved them and going to nursery every day. Couldn’t have asked for more, made it so much easier to go back to work knowing they were happy.

We would happily recommend the nursery to friends and family.

A very supportive nursery, would and have highly recommended, the support I received with my son and his special needs was above and beyond and I can't thank the nursery enough if I ever have more children I won't hesitate on where there be attending nursery too (if you guys will us again lol).

My daughter went to this nursery and absolutely loved her time there, she’s now at school and A Step Ahead really helped her get ready for her next steps. My daughter was there for a little over a year, the staff were always so welcoming and if I needed any advice they were so helpful and informative. I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

We have found the nursery to be extremely accommodating to the needs of our two children and to our work and domestic commitments which is why we sent our second child here even though there were other equally good ones in the immediate area. We’ve been fortunate to have both children cared for and taught by the same trusted and experienced staff members and hope other families will have the same positive experience that we’ve have. Our son has been with A Step Ahead Shoreham since he was 8 months old. He has learnt so much and has been nurtured and encouraged by the staff who have helped shape him into an intelligent, kind and happy little boy. He is now in the pre-school room with his keyworker who is doing a wonderful job of preparing him and the other children for school next year. The premises is very spacious and split into three well-sized rooms beside each other with a lovely big outdoor space for the children to spend a lot of time in. The nursery is like a little family and we know that our child’s learning and wellbeing is their number one priority. Our youngest will be joining them in a month and there is no other nursery in Shoreham that we would even consider sending them to.

My daughter started at the nursery in September 2020 for 2 days a week and from the first contact, the manager and rest of staff were really helpful and provided us with all the information we could need, unlike some other nurseries we had spoken to. Settling sessions were handled brilliantly and they give us plenty of feedback about my daughter's activities for the day. My daughter loves the nursery and is thriving here.

The nursery staff are always friendly and welcoming and my daughter always enjoys her time there, they don't mind you asking questions or querying anything. Recently I needed to place my daughter in for extra days at short notice and they were more than happy to help out which meant a lot at the time.
