Both my boys absolutely love Shoreham Day Nursery. They have great connections with all the staff and feel loved, supported and safe. The staff go above and beyond with the kids and helps families where possible - flexible and understanding, I feel like I can approach anyone in the team to talk to if
needed.
They always have a fabulous range of experiences and resources for the kids, especially opportunities to help look after and learn about animals.
Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

Both my girls came to the nursery at a young age. My youngest is now in the toddler den/room; she loves the staff that work at the nursery and has made some lovely friends. The staff have really taken their time to know my daughter's likes/dislikes and interests and have supported her in meeting all
of her developmental needs. My daughter has formed loving relationships with the staff, and I feel at ease when I leave her there on morning drop-off. The nursery is very much child-focused and provides them with different learning activities/opportunities, inside and outside. Thanks to the girls for making my girls feel so comfortable and happy - you really have made a positive impact on both of our girls.

My over-attached little girl started doing two mornings a week In January. Since the moment we walked through the doors, they have been nothing but welcoming and accommodating to me and my daughter. The baby snug team made an effort to get to know myself and my child to make the settling-in period as
easy as possible for us both. I’m happy to know that my child has a strong bond with her key person and that I’m leaving her in safe hands. Although my child is in the baby snug, she has created bonds with staff members from the other rooms and looks forward to seeing them. Management has gone above and beyond to ensure that I am happy and that my child is safe.

Well, where do I start? I can't thank this nursery enough, I had to start work last September when my son turned 2 years old, I was very concerned with him starting due to him being a lockdown child I was reassured my son would fit in absolutely fine and this was the case! I can't thank the two managers
enough for all the support they've given me and my son, he absolutely loves going to nursery, also last week the two managers took time out to help me apply for the three year funding, overall 5 stars to the nursery! Thanks for all your support.

This team are amazing! From management to bank staff, their communication from the start of the day to the end of the day is second to none, and their knowledge of the children in the individual rooms is great. My daughter absolutely loves going to the nursery; she even comes home talking about them
and missing them when she is not there. One lady has done an amazing job since she started, and I've seen the team go from strength to strength.

My son has been with these guys since May. They have been nothing but kind, loving and caring to him. He has developed so much and took his first steps at nursery, and they made sure to take videos of him so that we could see him! He suffers from seizures when his temperature goes too high, so a care
plan was put in place immediately to monitor his temps on a regular basis, and I am constantly informed. My son absolutely loves the manager, and he's not usually a very cuddly baby, but he actually fell asleep on her the other day, which was so lovely to hear!
My eldest also used to go to preschool and she still always loves going to see everyone at the nursery. She constantly talks about them and gets so excited when she's picking her brother up. She became so confident after attending Shoreham, so I'm truly grateful for that.
I highly recommend this nursery. All the staff are absolutely brilliant and always listen to your troubles and give you so much support.

Both my girls came to the nursery at a young age, my eldest is now in school but loved coming here, and my youngest is now going into the preschool room; she loves the staff that work at the nursery and has made some lovely friends. I have never had any issues with either of my girls at the nursery,
and they settled so quickly and transitioned well to other rooms when they moved up. I have recommended a few others to the nursery as I know their children will enjoy it, and the parents will feel completely at ease with leaving them here. Thanks to the girls for making my girls feel so comfortable and happy here.

Wonderful nursery, excellent communication, and a wide range of meals and snacks for my little one to enjoy. She has a fabulous day, and the photo updates are wonderful to receive throughout the day. The staff are easy to talk to and are great at reassuring me when my daughter started attending. There
is a wide variety of toys, including a great outside play area. A cute little nap area is the perfect place for my daughter to have her daytime naps. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough; her every need is met. She enjoys messy play and plays with water and all the musical toys. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter here for the day, and she has such a lovely time.

My daughter loves coming to the nursery. She really came out of her shell as soon as she started going. The staff are amazing there, and she has built a very special bond with the manager in the toddler room, so much so; she calls it the manager's school, instead of nursery. She runs in all excited
for her day without even a goodbye to me. I can relax knowing she's well looked after and having lots of fun.

Our son has been going to the nursery since he was 9-months-old and loves it. He gets very excited when we turn up.

I had no intention of sending my child to nursery and was dreading the prospect of it, especially as we are an allergy family and my child is vegan. I viewed seven nurseries in the area, where they seemed to have no concept of what vegan meant and did not reassure me at all about allergies. However,
Shoreham Day Nursery was completely different and was the only place I felt comfortable leaving my son. The staff are just lovely and were more than happy to answer my endless questions! The nursery manager is fantastic with the kids and has a very welcoming face at drop off. She even takes the time to talk to my other child and engage him at pick up time, which is very sweet. My child adores being at nursery and happily walks in without any complaint. They are always doing fun activities, and the food seems to go down well. They are so accommodating to my child, and I always feel like I can ask them about anything, even if it is stupid.

From my first initial visit, I sensed a happy and welcoming nursery which was very reassuring as it was all new to us. My daughter then joined at the beginning of the year and has loved it ever since. The morning drop-offs speak volumes, as she waves us off and is happy to be there, and the same for
the pick-ups, waving the team goodbye and telling us all about her day on the car ride home.


We had a rare little upset one morning dropping her off, and kindly, without asking, I got sent a lovely picture of her happy and playing (30 seconds after I left!) saying 'I am all happy now Mummy' - that always sticks in my head, as it shows how empathetic and experienced the team are to what the parents feel too when leaving their children in someone else's care.


We are so happy we have found the right nursery for our daughter, and that she has such lovely ladies looking after her and giving her the best kick start to her life. Thank you.

The nursery family Shoreham is a wonderful nursery that my 1-year-old has been to now for over 2-months. So far, my wife and I have been very happy with the service. Our daughter took time to settle in, but the nursery was very patient with her and kept us in the loop at all times.
What we love the
most is the fact that our daughter has got a really close bond with one of the staff in the butterfly room. We know this, as when we hand her over, she has a big smile on her face, which is fantastic to see.
Recently, the nursery has had a management changeover, and it has been wonderful to see the management team working within the kid's rooms as well as in the office.
We love the fact that the nursery supply's us with "observations" where we get pictures of our little one throughout the day, and we get told how she is developing at different stages throughout the weeks. The staff are always very open, welcoming and happy to answer any questions or queries we have.

My child has attended the nursery for over two years, she always loved and enjoyed going to nursery. She always talks about her day and what she has done. She also has an amazing relationship with all the staff in the preschool playroom; this gives us peace of mind that's she's well looked after and
cared for when we are not around. As a parent, when dropping off and picking up, the staff are always friendly, give good handovers regarding my child's day. We will be very sad when our child leaves for school, as will she, as it has been an amazing nursery.

    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 58 number of registered child places is 11.6, which has been reached with 13 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
