My 17 month old daughter started with A Step Ahead Nursery (Shoreham) in September 20 and I could not be happier with our choice. We looked at every nursery in our local area before making our choice and nearly sent her to a different nursery which looked far newer and was vastly more expensive however
we chose A Step Ahead Nursery (Shoreham) as the love and care the staff showed towards the children in their care came shinning through on our visits there. The same could not be said for the others in the local area. When we say to our daughter that we are taking her to nursery she smiles and is happy and that is all the recommendation anyone should need.

Everyone at the nursery is very friendly and approachable. They have been so kind and patient settling my daughter in. I like that they get to play outside a lot. I really feel my daughter is in good hands. Thank you.

My daughter is 17 months old and started at A Step Ahead Shoreham a few weeks ago. The staff have been great and she has settled in straight away. She has quickly formed a strong bond with her keyworker who has been fantastic. I can tell she is having so much fun at the nursery, the App is really good
at showing me what she has been up to as well as letting me know about meals and sleep, I love getting the photos. She loves all the activities they provide and always has a smile on her face when we pick her up. I couldn't have been happier with her start to nursery. Thank you all!

Nursery should be about three things for me - enjoyable activities, those first bonds of friendship and learning to interact and socialise with others outside of your immediate family. All of these are met and exceeded at A Step Ahead (Shoreham). Our son has made great friends and loves his time there
with much of that is down to the excellent staff, who really support the kids to express themselves and enjoy what they want to do.

Our daughter has attended A Step Ahead since she was 1 and is now in the preschool room in her last year.
The staff have been amazing throughout her journey and have taken time to get to know us as a family and understand her individual needs and learning.
The garden is great with covered areas
so it can be used all year round.
As a busy working Mum, the nursery was ideal for us as parking is easy making drop off and pick up easy with easy access to the A27 for my out of town commute.

We viewed lots of nurseries, but this was the only one that our son felt comfortable in. From the moment we walked in, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The staff were very friendly and professional. When we went for the settling sessions the staff observed for the first, but then found common ground to
approach and start building a relationship. It took 2 settling sessions, where other nurseries it would take a lot more. They even offered advice on things we should be working towards with the little one and asked if there is anything they could do to help whilst he was with them.
Thank you to all the team for being very polite, friendly, reassuring, professional and most of all honest, which is something hard to find these days.

Just over two years ago we looked at several nurseries in our area and while some seemed lovely none were more welcoming and willing to answer our questions and putting me at ease. From our little one being in the baby room through to now being in the ladybird (preschool room) we have watched him thrive
into the confident little chap, he is today. We as a family have needed support along the way with some emotionally challenging times and the staff have been exceptional in supporting not only our little one but us too through these times. I know our little lad completely adores the staff and that is just as important as him having fun and learning. He has had dietary needs that were always met with care. Nothing is too much trouble. Throughout the Covid lockdown, they did amazing videos and kept us in touch and reassuring on return. If you want happy nurtured little ones I highly recommend this nursery.

Staff are always lovely but professional. Children on appearance always seem happy and well cared for.
I can't thank the staff enough as looking at our little guy you can see he loves his time with staff and he has formed some great friendships here. He has had some tough times yet with the nursery
support and help has blossomed into a strong confident happy boy. Staff are amazing, encouraging and have heaps of patience and he chats about them constantly. Staff is not high turn arounds which indicates a good consistent environment.
Great nursery, thriving, caring environment and they go out of their way to keep little minds occupied and happy.

Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. All the members of staff, are so friendly, warm and welcoming. Our daughter absolutely loves attending there and is always so excited to go. You can tell the staff do genuinely care about the children and their wellbeing and development.

My son had an amazing experience at this nursery where the staff were kind, friendly and extremely helpful. They would often go out of their way to help you and keep you informed and my son was very happy to be here. We were very sad when it was time to move to big school.

The staff have been really lovely and have helped him settle in nicely to his new setting.
I‘m really pleased with how he is doing at, he always leaves nursery with a big smile on his face letting me know about the fun he has had and what he’s been up

My 2 nephews and my niece have all attended A Step Ahead Shoreham over the last few years and have absolutely loved their time there! My niece has just left to go to school, and the nursery supported her so much with being school ready. The communication was great, we loved seeing pictures of their
day on the app, and they equally enjoyed seeing them to when they got home and we talked about what they have been up to. The staff were always friendly, and we truly felt reassured that they were in good hands and having the best day! My youngest nephew is due to start in January, and we cannot wait for him to start his adventure there too!

Both my children attended A Step Ahead Shoreham. We have been so happy that despite moving to Lancing we still sent them there. The staff have a real personal connection with the children and both of my children loved them and going to nursery every day. Couldn’t have asked for more, made it so much

My daughter went to this nursery and absolutely loved her time there, she’s now at school and A Step Ahead really helped her get ready for her next steps. My daughter was there for a little over a year, the staff were always so welcoming and if I needed any advice they were so helpful and informative.
I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

We have found the nursery to be extremely accommodating to the needs of our two children and to our work and domestic commitments which is why we sent our second child here even though there were other equally good ones in the immediate area. We’ve been fortunate to have both children cared for and

Our son has been with A Step Ahead Shoreham since he was 8 months old. He has learnt so much and has been nurtured and encouraged by the staff who have helped shape him into an intelligent, kind and happy little boy. He is now in the pre-school room with his keyworker who is doing a wonderful job of
preparing him and the other children for school next year. The premises is very spacious and split into three well-sized rooms beside each other with a lovely big outdoor space for the children to spend a lot of time in. The nursery is like a little family and we know that our child’s learning and wellbeing is their number one priority. Our youngest will be joining them in a month and there is no other nursery in Shoreham that we would even consider sending them to.
