Monkey Puzzle Bromley is situated in a light-filled Grade-II listed building within walking distance of both Bromley North and South! With an interior purposely designed to provide a home-from-home environment ideal for children to learn and develop through play!

Children start in Explorers doing just that in a spacious room filled with beautiful resources to encourage little minds to grow. Discoverers follow with their fully equipped room including child-sized toilets and drinking fountain. Downstairs are the Investigators who have a fabulous time investigating the world around them through play and adult led activities.

Inventors is the last stop for children before school. School Readiness is what this room is all about with an Early Years Teacher at the forefront of their learning.

Outside is no different with a purpose-built playground offering opportunities for all areas of learning to be extended across the age ranges.

There is an inclusive and multi-cultural nursery focused on providing the best care to each individual child. An experienced staff team are employed who are highly skilled and passionate about what they do.

All meals are cooked on site by the fully trained Chef so they can cater for any dietary needs you may have.

We are very happy with the care our daughter receives at Monkey Puzzle nursery. All the staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. We receive detailed feedback about our daughters day upon collection. The parents evenings have been informative so we know how our daughter is progressing. The activities
they provide are great and give the children opportunities to learn new things and make new friends. We like using the learning journal to read more and see pictures of some of the different activities. Delicious and nutritious lunch and dinner is provided every day which the children enjoy. The children love playing outside on the slide, scooters and trikes. Although it's not a huge outdoor area it is so important the children are provided with opportunities to play outside. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery!

We chose Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery because all the children and staff seemed so happy when we looked around. The nursery had such a nice vibe, which made me feel less guilty about leaving our little one each day. We have had an outstanding experience to date, you can see our son enjoys his time there
and we get regular reports on his progress.


The staff have been very supportive. The chef goes over and above to make sure our son's meal is given the extra attention it needs because of his allergies, and the office staff are very reactive to our admin emails and phone calls.

My daughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery since March 2016. She was 6.5 months old when she started, so tiny and I was conflicted but had to return to work. The facilities are excellent, but what makes this particular franchise impeccable are the people behind it. From management, right
the way through to the full-time chef - the staff are incredibly kind, professional and lovely to deal with. I had my first parent's evening last night and something that her key worker said to me stuck: "Our baby is growing up so fast". I realised that this is the overall attitude of the nursery. They partner with parents for the best possible outcome for your child. My daughter has been full-time since September and I drop her off every day knowing that she is loved, well cared for and receiving all that she requires for her age. I am kept abreast of developmental areas, daily updates on food, friends, and behaviour. The online journal system is a wonderful tool that I feel I would lost without. Highly recommended!

My son started to attend the Preschool of the Monkey puzzle only 2 weeks ago, and I am so pleased with them. He has learned so much in only a matter of 2 weeks, its really impressive. He is talking and conversing a lot more, he has learned so much in a short amount of time. The staff are lovely and
very very helpful in everything you need. Even though it seems a small place, it fits all the needs and they have divided very well and I think it does work the way they set it up. I am happy with them so far and I would really recommend the Nursery.

My daughter has a great time at Monkey Puzzle which means we are really happy with it. The children are always having a great time when I go in there. I love the fact that they get fresh air everyday because of the covered outdoor area. I also really like the online reporting system, meaning that you
can log in to see what your child has been up to every week. I feel the nursery really helps with her overall development too. I love the fact that it isn't too big or crowded and everybody knows who each child is.

Both our sons (2 1/2 years and 9 months) attend Monkey Puzzle, Bromley. This nursery setting has exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Our eldest son has been in the setting for 8 months now and our youngest son for just one month. They are both very happy and we believe this is because of the
friendly and relaxed environment at the setting. All the staff are really friendly and reassuring and have taken the effort to get to know both boys. Both boys have a key worker and we are kept up to date with daily records. It makes it so much easier leaving the boys knowing how happy they are.


The nursery has a chef, who cooks yummy and nutritional food. Our eldest son used to be fussy but the nursery has managed to introduce new foods that he would not eat at home. We have been consulted on menus and can always log into the boys' daily diaries to see what (and how much) they've eaten.


The nursery ensures plenty of fresh air in their routine, which we feel is important and we have noticed significant developments in our sons speech since joining the nursery.


In summary, we are extremely happy with Monkey Puzzle as a setting for our boys and would recommend them with confidence to anyone looking for a nursery setting in this area.

My son adores pre-school here. The nursery is well maintained and the staff are so friendly and approachable and very obviously care for each and every child who attends. The rooms are all colourful and stimulating with endless resources. There are so many activities to keep the little ones entertained
and educated. The outdoor play zone is perfect for exploring in all weathers. Messy play is daily and my son adores getting covered in paint and "gloop". Things he doesn't often get a chance to do at home! He has become so much more outgoing and confident since starting here last year and that is down to the caring staff and the amount of fun he has here with his hew friends. I have no hesitation in recommending this setting.

This is a third nursery for my little two years old son and I can definitely see that he had never been happier. Always wants to stay longer and have more fun there!
We moved to Bromley area few month ago, went straight to the Monkey Puzzle and never had a second thought. All members of staff are very
caring and professional with children but also friendly and supporting with parents, which was very important for us. My little one has never been very chatty, but after just few month at this nursery he is much more confident in trying new sounds. He even sing songs which is an amazing progress in such a short time. And yes, the food! The food is great - always different, prepared on site. It always smells so delicious.

My daughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle since it opened and she couldn't be any happier. At her previous nursery she cried as she didn't want to attend; at Monkey Puzzle she cries as she doesn't want to leave!


Her personal development has come so far thanks to the amazing staff and her key

worker. She can now write all her letters and knows how to spell a few words, her counting has improved a lot and she has a wider knowledge about the world and public holidays.


My daughter loves the food that's served and every time I pick her up she will tell me what she's had for breakfast, snack, lunch and dessert. There's a wide variety of meals and it's nice for the children to try something new and organic/healthy.


Overall I would definitely recommend Monkey Puzzle to everyone and I'm very impressed with what I have seen so far! X

I viewed a couple of nurseries to see which would be better to put my little girl in and I can honestly say monkey puzzle is the best one by far!
It is extremely clean.
The food is cooked on the day and is all fresh.
As well as being well balanced for the kids.
The staff are so energetic, fun and
have positive relationships with the kids.
I see a massive difference in my little girl she tries to speak a lot more and I am so happy knowing all the sensory play she does!
The staff always make sure the kids have fresh air and are always getting involved with the kids during play.
There is nothing bad I could say .
They do activities and days for the parents to get involved.
Keep it up guys your all amazing the staff always go the extra if you are ever in need of help as well.

Since my son started at Monkey Puzzle in Bromley, his confidence has grown and continues to everyday. The team really do care and have been very supportive with his toilet training. His key workers are fantastic and do everything they can to help him progress. The food menu is varied and freshly made
on site. They have a lovely play area and grow fruit/veg throughout the year- weather permitting. Bottom line is HE is happy so thank you!

When the time came for me to send my son to nursery I was extremely apprehensive. He had never before been in a childcare environment – having only previously been looked after by family members. I really needn’t have worried.


We visited Monkey Puzzle Bromley prior to it’s opening, yet despite there

being no children to see in the setting, it was clear from the bright airy rooms, all-weather outdoor play area, caring professional staff who showed us around and abundance of toys and materials being delivered that this was somewhere I would feel comfortable leaving my child.


As mentioned previously, he had only been cared for my family members, and did not take kindly to being left at the nursery at first, however, all the staff were patient with him and me – reassuring us both - and within a few settling-in sessions (prior to him starting at the nursery properly) he was happy to be left. The speed at which he settles is testament to the kindness and professionalism of the staff – children are very good judges of character!


Since starting at Monkey Puzzle Bromley, I have seen him transform from a clingy shy toddler into an outgoing boy who seems to come home every day singing a new song or displaying a new skill. I’ve also seen him keen to try new foods – thanks to the onsite chef who takes the time and care to prepare nutritious food that I wouldn’t even think of trying him with at home.


But the most important thing to me is that he is very happy there, and that really is down the the staff and the time they take to get to know the children and provide them with a fun, stimulating environment where they want to spend time.

I visited a number of nurseries when I was returning to work in April but I felt immediately that Monkey Puzzle was "right" for my son. The rooms are lovely and bright, and so well-equipped. Everything is brand new and very high quality. My son has really thrived in the four months he has been going
there and I am so impressed with what he is learning.


The staff are all very kind and caring, and at the same time very professional. I was quite sad when I first left my son there, but reassured by the fact that he very quickly bonded with his key worker. In fact when I asked him who his best friend was he named one of the staff!


The food is outstanding - healthy, tasty and varied and I am always told how much my son ate (normally "all of it"!). The children are often involved in food preparation and have made bread, pizza and gingerbread. These have been particular highlights for my son, as was a recent "people who help us" week where they were even allowed aboard a fire engine!


I think we have been very lucky, finding monkey puzzle when we did and growing with the nursery as it has grown. It is a high quality environment, staffed by capable, caring professionals who really connect with the children.

My son has been going to Monkey Puzzle since the beginning of May and I cannot tell you how proud and happy I am of how his development has come on since his time at Monkey Puzzle! I have watched him go from my small baby into a growing toddler, and I am extremely satisfied with the love and support

My little boy attends Monkey Puzzle in Bromley and is currently in the bright coloured and very well laid out toddler room. When he first started he found it hard to settle but the girls in the room were very accommodating towards us and helped reassure me that he would be fine. Now 5 months on and
he is a confident and outgoing little boy and has come on leaps and bounds, he's now toilet training and is successfully grasping the concept thanks to the help and support of his key person. Definitely recommend it x

Monkey Puzzle Nursery in Bromley is genuinely wonderful. My son was one of the first babies to attend the nursery and we saw the property being built very quickly from an empty shell to the awesome nursery it is today.


It offers a fantastic environment for my son and his little friends to develop,

in terms of: variation of activities, toys and book; well-defined rooms for different ages and abilities; a fabulous outside garden with climbing frames/obstacles, an area for planting and fences covered in pictures and wall art; integrating the babies and toddlers throughout the day at meal times and in the garden etc, so he is developing also from watching and playing with older children; amazing staff - all of who are so personable that I know their names, who do a great job of looking after the children, and who each evening are there ready with an update on how he has been throughout the day (from what he's eaten and how much, to number/types of nappy changes and any issues or fun things that has happened throughout his day); a fab chef who takes great care in providing yummy yet healthy and varying meals; pictures of the children throughout the building; the nursery also hold events for us including BBQs, photo days etc although we've been unlucky enough to be busy on those day :-(.


The nursery staff are also very thoughtful in terms of having all the children ready with all their belongings packed up ready to go at the end of the day. Similarly, I recently gave birth to my daughter (by c-section), and whilst I recovering the nursery staff have kindly been bringing my son to the gate each evening with his things as I was finding it difficult to lift him - another example of how they often go beyond the call of duty for us.


The nursery is great value for money providing everything for you, so he only needs to take his dummy, a spare pair of clothes and Woofy Dog, although his furry is sometimes forgotten (bad mummy).


I love Monkey Puzzle Nursery in Bromley and recommend everyone in need of childcare in the local area to try it out!

We moved to Bromley in January 2015 and by March I thought my son was ready for nursery. We are Brazilians and I must confess I was terrified to leave him somewhere every one speaks English. At 16 months it would be the first time that he would be with someone else which made the settling sessions a
bit worse. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and I cannot thank them enough. They supported me in every single concern, every single moment that I needed help with this so emotional and tense moment of the mother and son life.
To top it off, the place itself is amazing! The garden is great, the rooms and clean, organized and stimulating. It is a fantastic environment for babies and toddlers and so happy I chose them. They are like family for us now!

We moved to Bromley and were looking for a nursery having moved our first child from an Ofsted outstanding nursery in Hither Green. We have been with Monkey Puzzle since it opened and in that time, I have gotten to spend a lot of time settling in my first child in the pre-school room. I have genuinely
been impressed with the professionalism, enthusiasm and most importantly kindness the staff have displayed towards the children. Knowing I was leaving both my girls in capable hands, it gave me the trust and confidence to leave my 12 month old in the baby room when returning to work after my maternity leave. Both children are really thriving there and, like the other children, are happy in the stimulating but most importantly happy environment.

The nursery is owned by local businessman Arlind Marku, who graduated from Middlesex University in 2007 with a BA Hons in Business Studies and Italian. Since graduating he has run a number of family businesses, always with the intention of returning back to his dream of owning a children’s day nursery. Stacy Cooper

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2015

Stacy qualified with a CACHE level 3 in Childcare and Education. She also has 11 years of experience in childcare with 2-3-year-olds. Stacy has received MAKATON training from the lady who trained Mr Tumble (Justin Fletcher) and although working in childcare is challenging she finds it incredibly rewarding. Working with children has always been a passion of Stacy’s since she was 9 and has been the best career choice she could have made.


When asked why she wanted to work in childcare Stacy said “The reason I work with children is that they are our future generation and I take pride in knowing that I have made an impact on the most important years of their lives.”

Nick Huddart

Job Title: Operations Manager Joined: 2019

Nick has been working within early years for over 15 years and joined the company as our Operations Manager. Nick supports our Bromley, Orpington and Tunbridge Wells nurseries providing valuable support to our management teams and overseeing recruitment and operations of the nurseries.
“Our vision is to create a wonderful space where children will be safe, cared for, loved and happy. Our children and families will always remain at the centre of what we do. We will provide a space where children and our team can learn, grow and develop with support, encouragement and positivity being the keys to ensuring a high-quality provision.” Nick has previously worked for Asquith Nurseries where he began as a volunteer. He completed his Early Years qualification and worked towards becoming Manager of the company’s flagship nursery helping to achieve an Outstanding Ofsted grade twice and being held over 9 years. Nick’s passion is focused upon supporting both the children’s and the team’s development and helping to deliver the highest standards of childcare across all areas of the nursery. The best part of the day though is always seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as they laugh, learn and play. Nick is a huge sports fan, who especially enjoys football, tennis and cycling. He also loves watching films, reading, visiting the seaside and meeting up with friends over a good cup of coffee to help relax.

Emma Thomas

Job Title: Early Years Quality Manager Joined: 2019

I am based at our Bromley branch, but I also support our Orpington and Tunbridge Wells nurseries.


I have worked in Early Years for over 10 years, and I could not imagine doing anything else. I love being a part of watching the children develop and grow, supporting them to reach their personal milestones.


I have previously supported and led Ofsted inspections, supporting nurseries to achieve Outstanding outcomes. I felt extremely proud that we had achieved the highest standards for our families and team.


I have had experience in a variety of different roles. I started my childcare journey, newly qualified as a bank member of staff. I was offered a full-time position as a nursery nurse, and not long after,r I became a Room Supervisor and began to develop my leadership skills.


A few years later, I was given the opportunity to work as a third in charge in the nursery. This is where I gained more managerial skills and began the children and the teams across a range of ages. After a few years, I was a Deputy Manager where my passion for supporting children continued to flourish and I added the role of SENDCO, supporting children with additional needs and further developing our inclusive practice.


I continue to support many children with additional needs, their families and our staff teams with children’s learning outcomes working closely with the Bromley Borough and relevant agencies.


As part of my role, I support with providing enabling environments and with the quality of teaching and learning.


In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holiday to visit new places.

Sharon Lucas

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

My favourite part of working with children is building on the high quality care and education, with a strong focus on the teaching and learning. Watching and being a part of children flourishing with a passion for learning is important to me.


I have worked in Early Years since 2002 as a Practitioner and then from 2007 onwards in management. I have a vast experience within Early Years Care and Education and believe that these are the most important and formative years.


I have achieved the completion of my B.A Honours in Early Years Development as well as hold Early Years Professional Status and have previously achieved an Outstanding grading from Ofsted.


In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, truck racing, classic 80’s and 90’s Ford cars, Disney and Halloween!
