The staff have been very supportive. The chef goes over and above to make sure our son's meal is given the extra attention it needs because of his allergies, and the office staff are very reactive to our admin emails and phone calls.
The nursery has a chef, who cooks yummy and nutritional food. Our eldest son used to be fussy but the nursery has managed to introduce new foods that he would not eat at home. We have been consulted on menus and can always log into the boys' daily diaries to see what (and how much) they've eaten.
The nursery ensures plenty of fresh air in their routine, which we feel is important and we have noticed significant developments in our sons speech since joining the nursery.
In summary, we are extremely happy with Monkey Puzzle as a setting for our boys and would recommend them with confidence to anyone looking for a nursery setting in this area.
Her personal development has come so far thanks to the amazing staff and her key
My daughter loves the food that's served and every time I pick her up she will tell me what she's had for breakfast, snack, lunch and dessert. There's a wide variety of meals and it's nice for the children to try something new and organic/healthy.
Overall I would definitely recommend Monkey Puzzle to everyone and I'm very impressed with what I have seen so far! X
We visited Monkey Puzzle Bromley prior to it’s opening, yet despite there
As mentioned previously, he had only been cared for my family members, and did not take kindly to being left at the nursery at first, however, all the staff were patient with him and me – reassuring us both - and within a few settling-in sessions (prior to him starting at the nursery properly) he was happy to be left. The speed at which he settles is testament to the kindness and professionalism of the staff – children are very good judges of character!
Since starting at Monkey Puzzle Bromley, I have seen him transform from a clingy shy toddler into an outgoing boy who seems to come home every day singing a new song or displaying a new skill. I’ve also seen him keen to try new foods – thanks to the onsite chef who takes the time and care to prepare nutritious food that I wouldn’t even think of trying him with at home.
But the most important thing to me is that he is very happy there, and that really is down the the staff and the time they take to get to know the children and provide them with a fun, stimulating environment where they want to spend time.
The staff are all very kind and caring, and at the same time very professional. I was quite sad when I first left my son there, but reassured by the fact that he very quickly bonded with his key worker. In fact when I asked him who his best friend was he named one of the staff!
The food is outstanding - healthy, tasty and varied and I am always told how much my son ate (normally "all of it"!). The children are often involved in food preparation and have made bread, pizza and gingerbread. These have been particular highlights for my son, as was a recent "people who help us" week where they were even allowed aboard a fire engine!
I think we have been very lucky, finding monkey puzzle when we did and growing with the nursery as it has grown. It is a high quality environment, staffed by capable, caring professionals who really connect with the children.
It offers a fantastic environment for my son and his little friends to develop,
The nursery staff are also very thoughtful in terms of having all the children ready with all their belongings packed up ready to go at the end of the day. Similarly, I recently gave birth to my daughter (by c-section), and whilst I recovering the nursery staff have kindly been bringing my son to the gate each evening with his things as I was finding it difficult to lift him - another example of how they often go beyond the call of duty for us.
The nursery is great value for money providing everything for you, so he only needs to take his dummy, a spare pair of clothes and Woofy Dog, although his furry is sometimes forgotten (bad mummy).
I love Monkey Puzzle Nursery in Bromley and recommend everyone in need of childcare in the local area to try it out!

The nursery is owned by local businessman Arlind Marku, who graduated from Middlesex University in 2007 with a BA Hons in Business Studies and Italian. Since graduating he has run a number of family businesses, always with the intention of returning back to his dream of owning a children’s day nursery. Arlind always aspired “to own a nursery that is full of happiness and joy, creating an environment where children can thrive”. He grew up with very strong family values where children’s upbringing and education was always paramount. “I believe that a child’s successful journey starts from very early education so it was extremely important for me to choose a site which provides the best setting for children to have enjoyable and fun learning experiences”. I enjoy using my business knowledge and passion for children to support our team and improve the opportunities for our children. I am a firm believer that children are our future and we must give them an understanding of how powerful, important, valuable and perfect they are. Keeping children safe and happy alongside meeting and developing their needs will always be at the forefront of what we value as a team."
Stacy qualified with a CACHE level 3 in Childcare and Education. She also has 11 years of experience in childcare with 2-3-year-olds. Stacy has received MAKATON training from the lady who trained Mr Tumble (Justin Fletcher) and although working in childcare is challenging she finds it incredibly rewarding. Working with children has always been a passion of Stacy’s since she was 9 and has been the best career choice she could have made.
When asked why she wanted to work in childcare Stacy said “The reason I work with children is that they are our future generation and I take pride in knowing that I have made an impact on the most important years of their lives.”
Nick has been working within early years for over 15 years and joined the company as our Operations Manager. Nick supports our Bromley, Orpington and Tunbridge Wells nurseries providing valuable support to our management teams and overseeing recruitment and operations of the nurseries.
“Our vision is to create a wonderful space where children will be safe, cared for, loved and happy. Our children and families will always remain at the centre of what we do. We will provide a space where children and our team can learn, grow and develop with support, encouragement and positivity being the keys to ensuring a high-quality provision.” Nick has previously worked for Asquith Nurseries where he began as a volunteer. He completed his Early Years qualification and worked towards becoming Manager of the company’s flagship nursery helping to achieve an Outstanding Ofsted grade twice and being held over 9 years. Nick’s passion is focused upon supporting both the children’s and the team’s development and helping to deliver the highest standards of childcare across all areas of the nursery. The best part of the day though is always seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as they laugh, learn and play. Nick is a huge sports fan, who especially enjoys football, tennis and cycling. He also loves watching films, reading, visiting the seaside and meeting up with friends over a good cup of coffee to help relax.
I am based at our Bromley branch, but I also support our Orpington and Tunbridge Wells nurseries.
I have worked in Early Years for over 10 years, and I could not imagine doing anything else. I love being a part of watching the children develop and grow, supporting them to reach their personal milestones.
I have previously supported and led Ofsted inspections, supporting nurseries to achieve Outstanding outcomes. I felt extremely proud that we had achieved the highest standards for our families and team.
I have had experience in a variety of different roles. I started my childcare journey, newly qualified as a bank member of staff. I was offered a full-time position as a nursery nurse, and not long after,r I became a Room Supervisor and began to develop my leadership skills.
A few years later, I was given the opportunity to work as a third in charge in the nursery. This is where I gained more managerial skills and began the children and the teams across a range of ages. After a few years, I was a Deputy Manager where my passion for supporting children continued to flourish and I added the role of SENDCO, supporting children with additional needs and further developing our inclusive practice.
I continue to support many children with additional needs, their families and our staff teams with children’s learning outcomes working closely with the Bromley Borough and relevant agencies.
As part of my role, I support with providing enabling environments and with the quality of teaching and learning.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holiday to visit new places.
My favourite part of working with children is building on the high quality care and education, with a strong focus on the teaching and learning. Watching and being a part of children flourishing with a passion for learning is important to me.
I have worked in Early Years since 2002 as a Practitioner and then from 2007 onwards in management. I have a vast experience within Early Years Care and Education and believe that these are the most important and formative years.
I have achieved the completion of my B.A Honours in Early Years Development as well as hold Early Years Professional Status and have previously achieved an Outstanding grading from Ofsted.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, truck racing, classic 80’s and 90’s Ford cars, Disney and Halloween!
