Bright Horizons Barnes Day Nursery and Preschool

The most wonderful nursery for our baby. We are very grateful for all the support we have from the staff; they are a great team. I always have appropriate updates about what he is doing, what he’s eaten, how many nappies he had and what he had drunk. I am also delighted to see what activities they are doing.

I highly recommend Bright Horizons Barnes! I was so anxious to leave my 18-month-old boy but the staff were so brilliant! Excellent communication! Kept me updated throughout the day and my little boy has really settled in now. Big thanks to the manager and the staff!

I couldn’t recommend Bright Horizons Barnes Day Nursery and Preschool more! My little boy was 7 months when he started. I was anxious leaving him and the staff did their utmost to make sure the transition was kind, caring, and comfortable. I walked away feeling super confident they had my child’s best interests at heart. They will always go the extra mile, they spend that extra bit of time to make sure me and my son are ok. I also love the app, and there are updates and pictures throughout the day that I can always look in on. He is always full of personality when I pick him up, he loves it.

Barnes Bright Horizons have really looked after our daughter throughout a difficult year for everyone. The staff have gone above and beyond and made us feel like our little girl is completely looked after.

Our daughter goes to this nursery and we are very happy with it! Staff were very supportive during potty training which we found very helpful and they, overall, always do their best to meet our needs/expectations as parents as well as our daughter’s. She really enjoys going in to nursery in the mornings, has made many new friends and keeps learning new things!

My daughter recently started at Bright Horizons Barnes Day Nursery and Preschool and is absolutely loving it. She actually looks forward to Mondays and sings on the way to the nursery. The staff have been incredibly caring and helpful, even with potty training. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

The staff are very supportive and welcoming. I was nervous leaving my eight-month-old baby for me to return to work but the staff have always made it feel like another home for her. The staff really know and care for the children and are very understanding about individual preferences and changes and they adapt days, feeding, naps accordingly. The resources at the school are truly exceptional and it is a really beautiful place to start your education.

My child started five months ago just after the first lockdown. I was instantly reassured that the nursery had procedures in place and have good, high standards of cleanliness during the pandemic. Once my child started, her social skills improved and she was able to open up and interact with other people. My child is always excited to go to Bright Horizons Barnes Day Nursery and Preschool. An outstanding nursery that provides the full spectrum of education and childcare. The staff are fantastic, going the extra mile to ensure the children are happy, entertained, challenged and cared for. My daughter is excited to go to nursery every morning, and we drop her off each day fully confident in the experience she will have. The hours are very accommodating for working parents, and staff are very flexible to meet the needs of children and parents.

I have a child in preschool who absolutely loves going to nursery. Also, my second starts in the baby room soon. I choose Bright Horizons Barnes due to its opening hours which are better than other nurseries for working parents. Facilities and the quality of care are great. The Deputy Manager is absolutely brilliant and always willing to help. Friendly and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Most importantly, our daughter is very happy there. She often asks about nursery when she is not there and always runs in smiling and happy.

This is a fantastic Nursery. My son has been attending since August last year and his speech and confidence has grown. Everything from his social skills to his vocabulary has come on faster than I ever imagined. He has made a lot of friends and has a lovely relationship with all the staff. They learn something new every day and I love that they play outside in the fresh air every day which I think is extremely important. The staff are so welcoming to both parents and children and it is easy to address any queries or questions about my son's day to day learning.

We are very happy with Bright Horizons, our 2-year-old loves going there every day, in fact, wants to go in when we walk past at the weekend! The staff are caring and fun and he has a good relationship with them.

We have our second child at Bright Horizons Barnes and we are delighted with the quality of staff, learning, food and opening hours. I recommend strongly to think about Bright Horizons Barnes when considering a nursery for your child.

We now have our second child in Barnes Bright Horizon. We have been very happy with the service, care and staff. The outdoor area is great and much larger than most of the nurseries in Greater London. The food is healthy and delicious and the staff are always happy, kind and warm towards the children. We would very happily recommend the nursery to our friends.

My daughter has been with Bright Horizons Barnes for 2.5 years since she was 11 months and has only excelled. She has formed great relationships with her peers and staff. There is great outdoor space, structured days and tracked progress. She is coming towards the end of her time and we feel she is now well prepared for school and has developed the necessary social skills. She is kept safe and has loads of fun and I would recommend the nursery highly.

Both our children attend Barnes Day Nursery and the fact that both are really excited to arrive at nursery in the morning illustrates how much they enjoy being there. The staff are warm and engaging and work hard to foster a family feel. We particularly appreciate the access that the children have to outdoor space, which is relatively scarce at other nurseries. We have recommended the nursery to several local families already and will continue to do so.

The carers and personnel at Bright Horizons have been fantastic from day one. When my son started, English was not his native tongue but that never became a problem due to the very engaged carers. I'm very pleased with my son's individual development since he started and would recommend Bright Horizons for people in my network.

We have been delighted with our daughter’s experience of Bright Horizons Barnes - she loves it there and has been well cared for. We feel she is really benefitting from the stimulation provided. We are also very happy with the way in which her dietary needs have been catered for.
