My son joined the nursery 1 and a half years ago learning a lot of things in it. He is treated with respect and receives an excellent standard of care. He is happy to for the activities and fun he has with the staff and the musician.

The nursery provides a good quality care. There are many activities for the children to take part in and lots of good quality toys and activities in the room and garden. The nursery regularly provides events and encourage discussion with parents which helps build good relationships between nursery and parents. On occasions when I have had concerns, they have been addressed promptly and properly. The key workers are friendly and helpful and my child has built close relationships with many of the caregivers in his room. The reception and all other staff are very helpful and friendly and build good relationships with the children. Overall, we are very happy with our decision to place our child at Heron Quays.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 11 months old, he is now three and a half.

He has developed really well throughout his time at Heron Quays and enjoys his time there. I feel that he is well prepared to start school. I would recommend Heron Quays as a nursery.

Our daughter started here last September so has fully settled in now. I can honestly say she loves going to nursery every day, which is always such a relief to any parent. The staff in her room are always warm and welcoming and look genuinely happy to see her. She has definitely bonded with them and it has all been wonderful for her socialisation, learning and development. In terms of areas for potential improvement, it would be nice for the babies to go outside when weather permits. I feel sometimes attention to detail is lacking, especially with nappy changing, keeping faces clean, end-of-day feedback forms etc. In general, we continue to be happy here and management are supportive and proactive in general.

Our child is in baby room which has lots of toys, activities, dining areas and cots. Having a cot was really important for us and helped our child feel more at home. The staff are very friendly, helpful and has been very good at taking note of our wishes and requests.

We are happy that we have chosen this nursery for our child.

Our daughter is at Heron Quays Day Nursery since she was 1 year old. We are quite satisfied by the services, the staff is very caring. My daughter is very happy and settled easily in her rooms from the beginning. She is now in pre-school level and they are already learning the fundamentals to start school properly next September, writing their names, disciplines, building social skill, being more and more independent etc.

The nursery is also quite multicultural, it is good for her to be involved in such environment. I would recommend the nursery for any parent who especially works nearby.

My son joined Heron Quays Day Nursery & Preschool in Aug 2017. We relocated in London from Luxemburg. I was very happy with the way my son's English skills were supported by the team. They even learned some French words to ease his transition and make sure he was understood.

The recent organisational changes and set of activities are really appreciated and make me think about his prior place.

My daughter was enrolled at the Nursery when she was 1 and is now 1.5 years old and is already showing positive signs when it comes to being confident, communicating with us and others, involvement in various activities and speech, of course, she is very talkative. She recognizes her carers and loves them to bits and it is comforting to see the love and kindness they shower on her. The nursery has a feedback orientated model and takes parents feedback seriously and most importantly considers and implements the feedback, which ensures continuous improvement of services, which already is a benchmark for such an institution. At times, we need flexibility with our daughter's nursery schedule and the front office staff and management have always been considerate and try to accommodate our request (wherever possible), which is a massive relief for us. I would recommend this place any day of the year and am confident that my review and feedback will help other parents like us. Thank you team!

We chose this nursery for our daughter for two reasons, close proximity to work and because it has been a renowned and established brand 'Bright Horizons' in child care for several years now. What surprised my wife and I was the standard of ethics and professionalism their staff and management demonstrate each day. It is beyond words and applause.

For me, as a parent the safety of my child is paramount. For that, I fully trust this nursery.
Outside facilities are limited but this is normal in London.

Some of the nurses are fantastic but the preparation standards vary a lot among nurses.

The Heron Quays Nursery is a very good nursery. From management to staff, everybody makes you feel at home and cared about. The childcare provided is excellent and I'd definitely recommend it for any kids. The price tag is high but compared to similar facilities, Heron Quays is doing very well. If you can afford it, don't hesitate.

Staff are very dedicated and genuinely care for the children. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with an emphasis on caring and learning key skills. The nursery has outside space and interesting activities every day such as music, cooking and PE and my daughter learns a lot there. She loves going to see her friends and the practitioners and often tells me to hurry up in the mornings!

It was unfortunate that our daughter had problems settling in due to getting sick a lot during the same period, therefore we cannot have a clear opinion.

However, the room leader was very kind to try to reassure us for our daughter's welfare in the nursery.

This nursery's management team is excellent. I found the ladies very easy to talk to, they listen to your feedback and implement changes immediately; it gives me peace of mind knowing that whatever happens, I have a team of people who would always listen to my concerns and take action on them. Also the staff in the nursery are caring and kind, joyful and energetic to not only care for the ladybirds but to also entertain and help develop the little ones emotionally and physically; it is important for little ones to laugh and having nurses who are happy and joyful during the day is an absolute advantage and a rare asset; our key person is learning a few of our native words so that she connects better with the baby; baby has settled quite quickly and enjoys her time in the nursery.

Stella Job Title: Nursery Manager
Stella

Over the past 30 years, I have worked with children. I began my teaching career in an independent school where I taught music and drama to children aged three to sixteen.

During my teaching career, I realised how much I enjoyed working with young children and decided to further my education and become a Level 4 Early Years Practitioner. In addition to managing After School and Holiday Clubs, I have an additional understanding of how the Playwork Principles influence early childhood education.

Even though I'm now the manager at Heron Quays, my dedication to the children has no limits and while I will be looking after the nursery, my focus will be to introduce all my children to music and drama.

Whether it be singing to soothe babies or directing the preschool Christmas Extravaganza! I look forward to welcoming you and your child to my nursery.

Sandra Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager
Sandra

I have been working at Bright Horizons since 2017 supporting our Chelsea Nursery where I worked as a Preschool Room Leader, progressing to the Third in Charge. I soon transferred over to Bright Horizons Heron Quays where I supported the nursery for over a year as the Deputy Manager. I have just returned from maternity leave and have had a baby boy. I am passionate about my job and love working with children. Watching them grow and develop is what makes me happy.
