The Sunflower Children's Centre

My daughter attends here 5 days a week in the preschool room and is always excited about attending each morning. She always talks about the exciting activities she has done that day and the friends and staff she has played with. The nursery has a great app for me to check in on how my daughter is each day. This includes what she has eaten, what activities she has done, followed by several photos. My daughter always looks forward to the days she goes into the forest school that is located on the side of the building and the days she gets to do sports with the in house sports coach. I look forward to collecting her each evening to see the big smile on her face whilst she tells me about the amazing things she has done. My daughter's key worker is amazing and has built up her confidence so much that she is now much more independent and school ready for September! The sunflower team are all amazing and are always keen to go above and beyond without hesitation.

My daughter has been at preschool since November 2020 and since starting, she has grown and developed amazingly. The staff have been amazing and made me feel at ease and also have been involved and given me tips. I couldn't thank the preschool staff enough. My daughter loves attending and is very social, we will both be sad when she leaves.

My daughter has been attending Sunflower Children's Centre since she was 10 months old and is now in preschool. When she first started, I was very apprehensive about leaving my baby for the first time, to return to work but I was always put at ease by the staff and my daughter has grown really close to all the team and in particular, her key worker. She loves going into nursery and they are really helping her to prepare for school next September. She always comes home and tells me everything she's been up to - and the daily update is amazing at seeing what she's been up to, with photos throughout the day. I looked around a lot of nurseries when she was smaller and I am so glad I picked Sunflower Children's Centre. She will be so sad to leave in September!

My daughter has recently moved up to the toddler room, and again, the staff are fantastic and very helpful with all our questions and requirements that we have.

Brilliant nursery. My daughter loves it, she’s come on so much over the time she’s been there. She could barely string a sentence together before starting, now she’s a little chatterbox, always coming home telling me about her day how much fun she’s had and how she loves her teachers. I can’t wait for my son to start in September.

Can’t recommend this nursery enough. My son loves it and doesn’t even look back when he walks in, he is that excited. He’s been attending for over a year since before he was 1-year-old. All the staff are helpful, friendly and keep you informed. The app is brilliant to keep you up to date. Can’t fault it; I know my son is happy and safe, which makes me happy!

My grandson has been coming to this nursery since he was a baby. He is now in pre-school here, and I have to say from day one, the staff have been wonderful, and my grandson has always really enjoyed coming. Superb nursery.

I can’t thank Sunflower for how hard they have worked to bring her out of her shell. She is so much more confident and has come on leaps and bounds in her short time there.

Excellent nursery! My son has never been happier going every morning. I love that we’re kept up to date all through the day and sent pictures; it is completely reassuring. Couldn’t recommend Sunflower enough.

The staff are friendly and great with my son. He can’t wait to get there every morning and always looks so happy when we pick him at the end of the day. I genuinely believe that his learning and development would not have come on nearly fast with the help and care of the staff at this nursery. They definitely know what they are doing.

My child has been attending this nursery since he was 9-month-old and is now in pre-school. The staff have been amazing in every room he’s been in, and the communication from the staff has always been excellent. This nursery is perfect for anxious parents as they keep you updated throughout the day as to the activities/mealtimes/toilet times etc and send regular photos throughout the day so you can see what they’re getting up to. They update milestones that parents can play an active role in, and the staff are always approachable and happy to talk about anything. My son loves coming to nursery, as he’s involved in lots of activities/learning, and his independence is always promoted.

My son started in September and the staff helped him settle in immediately. They have worked with us to encourage him to try more new foods after he became a bland eater and now will try most foods again. He has developed so much in such a short space of time and amazes us each day with the things he has learnt. All the staff are amazing and so welcoming. I love the way you get updates throughout the day and would recommend The Sunflower Children's Centre to everyone.

Sunflower is a brilliant nursery and always goes above and beyond for the children. My son has attended the nursery since he was 6 months old and has always loved it. He adores every single staff member that is there. They have made him into the confident little boy that he is today and he will without a doubt miss this nursery so much when he goes to nursery school in January. I can’t thank and recommend this nursery enough.

A fantastic nursery. My son has been at Sunflower coming up to 2 years now and we couldn’t be happier. He really enjoys attending and has learnt so much. The staff are friendly, approachable, and know the children well. The management team are accessible when needed, have time for parents and are open to feedback. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for childcare.

This is an amazing nursery and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The setting is bright and clean. The staff are amazing - they know everyone's name and are very helpful and knowledgeable. The environment is so friendly and welcoming. Our son cheers as he arrives. We keep in touch through an app and pictures are posted throughout the day, along with details of what's been happening, meals eaten and sleeping patterns. If you are looking for a nursery in Hyde, you must visit here. You will be delighted with what Sunflower have to offer.

My grandson leaves here today after three and a half years. Wow, what an excellent nursery. My grandson has excelled in every department. The staff are brilliant with him so kind and caring you may find a good nursery elsewhere but you won’t find one better. Thank you all so much.

The general environment of the nursery is welcoming and the outdoor play space is fantastic. The children are encouraged to be outdoors as much as possible and explore their environment from bug hunting to story time under the big tree in the summer. Quite simply, a fantastic nursery.

The staff are fantastic and extremely accommodating!

This is a lovely nursery with great staff, my son has really enjoyed his time there and will be sad to leave this summer.
