Partou Merchant Square Day Nursery & Pre-school

We are so happy with all the care our son receives here. He has made great progress due to the knowledge and kindness of the baby room staff.

We have been extremely pleased with our son's development from 10 months when he started to 21 months. The nursery has been able to teach him many things we might not have done at home, such as communal eating, art and messy play, playtime with his friends, free playtime in a safe secure environment. Allowing him to explore different foods and normalise a lot of new activities for him e.g. tidying up.

Great progress with developing our child. Very happy as all staff are very friendly and very experienced.

We have been very pleased with the nursery. Our daughter has been in the baby room for 5 months (since 11 months old) and the team have been lovely. The head of the baby room and our key person were our main points of contact but it was lovely that all the staff built relationships with the babies, so drop off wasn't limited to certain people. The team (staff to management) do well to foster trust. The nursery is clean, things are organised. There is generally a relaxed vibe which we really appreciated. We've been so grateful that we genuinely feel very comfortable with our daughter being at Merchant Square Day Nursery, no stress or guilt at all our end. A really lovely team.

My daughter enjoys attending the nursery and looks forward to each day. The staff are friendly, relaxed and caring.

My son started preschool in January 2019. The girls and the manager have been great. When I come there is a warm feeling, all the staff are friendly. I always feel comfortable and safe leaving my son. Thank you very much, Merchant Square for helping my son!

Our baby has settled very well in this nursery where the staff is extremely kind and caring. There are many activities available to keep babies busy and encourage their development. The only downsides are the lack of outside space of a dedicated and isolated sleeping area in the baby room, and an important staff turnover.

This nursery is excellent and has really helped my son come along with speech, emotional wellbeing and being aware of his learning. The staff are very knowledgeable and loving towards everyone.

My elder daughter goes to nursery preschool more than 2 years now. She is extremely happy and looks forward to going there every day. I decided to send my younger daughter to your nursery form 4 months old and so far she enjoys being there and grows up safely and steadily. I really want to thank all the staff for taking care of them so well. I cannot thank them enough.

Staff are very friendly and attentive to the children's needs. Variety of indoor and outdoor play facilities for babies to explore. Online 'tapestry' to monitor a child's development. No parking facility for drop off/pickups.

Merchant Square was excellent for our son. Staff did a great job communicating what he did in school at the end of each day.

I have been overall very satisfied with this nursery. The staff is caring and easy going regarding parent requests. The kids seem to be very close to their caregivers and this is very important. The management has been so far very flexible, good at communicating and no surprises on anything - good consistent care of our kids. The main drawback is the lack of outdoor space but kids are often taken out for walks. If I could think of one area of improvement that would be the food as even if plenty of fruit is provided, it is a bit carb heavy - toast, pasta, sandwich, wraps etc.

My experience here has been very good with the staff members and other parents. My child is able to learn more and enjoy himself with other children.

We have always been very happy with your care of both of our children. Most staff are excellent. Positive and caring and both kids have always been very happy. The management is very accommodating and flexible.

He developed in various areas to our full satisfaction and we are impressed by how much positive stimulation he gets from the nursery staff and other babies, everyone. We experienced up to now great continuity of the staff who is incredible, caring and loving with the babies. They encourage the babies to learn every day something new and offer a relaxed and positive social environment.

Merchant Square Day Nursery is the best. They have taken amazing care of our baby girl. I always know I'm leaving her in a caring, clean, happy environment. Her teachers are so attentive and knowledgeable. They have helped my daughter stay on track with all of her milestones and grow into a thriving toddler! I can't recommend this nursery enough!
