Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Finchfield

Great nursery! The staff are all so friendly and whoever welcomes my little girl in always knows her name. My little girls key worker is amazing with my little girl. She makes us feel like we are leaving her with family, she encourages her development and keeps us up date on what she's been up to. We can really tell that our little girl loves her and loves going to nursery. We have actually moved twenty three miles away from the nursery but still use them as they are so good. Another great thing about this nursery is the food they give them. We are amazed by the meals they give her. They also provide nappies, wipes and formula or milk so all we have to send with her are clothes. If you are thinking about using this nursery then I would say go for it as you will not regret it!

My son started nursery during the pandemic but they were really good at making us feel welcome. He has settled in really well now. The staff have been great and the updates on the app are very helpful. He hasn't really had much interaction before coming here because he was born just before the first lockdown. Being at this nursery has really helped him to develop in so many ways. Fantastic place!

Wonderful nursery. Both my sons have been here and they really have blossomed and been nourished from the love and care of the staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and even 4 years after my eldest left, they still remember him. I feel so confident and happy leaving my children in the wonderful care that the Finchfield staff provide. My son struggles to be left alone but they have really helped his confidence and willingness to go into nursery without him getting distressed. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

They’re the best in the area! All the team are so kind and have so much time for my child and my family. They’re incredibly helpful and we’ve felt very welcome right from the start. The team are very responsive to emails and I trust them explicitly.

My children are really happy at Finchfield, have made lots of friends and have a great relationship with their key workers. The standard of care is excellent and they always eat well too.

A superb setting. Staff are well skilled to manage the range of needs of all the individual children. My child has developed confidence and her reading, writing and number skills have progressed well. She enjoys all the different experiences and forest schools and is always eager to share news of her day with me when I collect her.

This particular nursery is extremely welcoming as soon as you enter the building. The staff are warm and friendly which helps ease the nervousness that you feel when leaving your child for the day. The staff are extremely tentative to the children and are good at amending activities to individual children. My child has been there for a few months and is beginning to show major improvements in her social skills and speech. The nursery has contributed towards that. Overall a great nursery for any child.

All staff are friendly and give full details of my sons day. He seems happy here.

Great childcare, great resources for my children and great all-round care. My children enjoy coming to nursery and have made great progress while here. I'm very happy with the service.

Just not happy with different staff all the time.

We have been happy at the care that our son has received. All of the staff have been friendly and treated our son well. It has made going to work much easier knowing that he is well looked after.

My daughter has excelled since starting in Butterfly's 2. Her key worker is nurturing and treats her as her own. I couldn't ask for a better setting and key worker to look after my child and would highly recommend. Staff change in the room has been a bit scary but I'm glad that one staff member, in particular, is still with us.

It's been a great pleasure having my child in this nursery. She has done very well so far. I am very much satisfied with her key worker, she is always working closely with my child. It is very much appreciated.

My daughter has settled into pre-school two very well. The nursery environment is excellent, and the variety of learning opportunities are great. She loves to come to the nursery and has made excellent attachments with the staff they are so welcoming. Thank you all!

I am so happy with the way my son has developed, not only educationally but as a person too since starting at The Co-operative nursery. The nursery provides a safe secure and stimulating environment for little ones and I have felt so happy leaving him here in the care of the fantastic staff. He has built up a close bond with the staff who have looked after him and was assigned to a key worker, who has supported him closely. My son has loved coming here and made some lovely friends here. We will miss it very much. But I feel comforted knowing that he will be ready to embark on the next chapter of his life in school, having received such a good education and grounding from The Co-operative. I highly recommend to other parents.

Really pleased with my child's last assessment before leaving pre-school for attending school. He has progressed so much in all areas of his development and has become so confident in himself. Graduation was very well organised and planned very well. All children really enjoyed the celebration. My son will miss nursery so much and I can't thank all the staff enough for all the hard work and support you have given us.

I have every faith in this nursery and am pleased with the service my child receives. I would certainly recommend this setting to other prospective parents.
