Co-op Childcare Finchfield has a large, busy and modern nursery, complete with an outstanding team who are all committed to meeting your child's development and care needs. Your child will also love being able to take their nursery teddy bears home for the weekend to go on exciting adventures.

The nursery is Green Eco Schools accredited, a programme that sees children make little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They use 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents updated on how their little one is getting on at nursery with photos, assessments and even toilet training progress! They have a growing area for food which they also end up eating and have regular visits to a local care home.

Their local history comes to life at Finchfield as their children regularly go on trips to the park near the nursery and visit historic buildings there.

We have had a great experience of the nursery so far, cannot thank the staff enough for how much they have brought our son along. They are always willing to go over and beyond in all aspects of his development. Compared to the last nursery we sent our son, this is head and shoulders above.

My daughter has only been at nursery for seven weeks. I am really happy with the care she has received. She has developed so much since starting and the staff have been a great help to get her onto solid foods. It is such a relief to go back to work and know my baby is being cared for so well and she
is always happy when I pick her up and the tears stopped when I drop her off after only a few weeks. The staff are amazing and wouldn’t want to send my baby anywhere else.

My little boy has been in this nursery from 9 months old. I have not had any issues with the care. They treat the children amazing and any questions I had I felt fully supported.
My little boy comes home happy and couldn’t ask for anything else!

The staff and facilities at this nursery are excellent. Our son loves his time at nursery and has developed massively since he started last year, and the nursery team should be commended on being agile in adapting to nursery life during a pandemic.

I looked for nurseries for a few months for my 2-year-old. I’m so glad I chose Co-op Childcare Finchfield. My child has been attending for 2 months so far and she’s settled in so well. She has already come on so much in such a short time. I always feel like she is well looked after and learns a lot
while she is there. All of the staff I have met are friendly and welcoming and they all recognise her. I would definitely recommend Finchfield to anyone looking for a fantastic nursery for their child.

Amazing nursery. All the members of staff are lovely, attentive and welcoming and easy to get hold of if needed. Both my kids attend this nursery. My daughter can be shy in new situations but took no time to settle in. I always feel reassured and my kids love attending the nursery.

My son started nursery in the pandemic and the staff have been brilliant. He has a lovely bond with his key worker and although I haven't seen them together in the room, every time she brings him to the door on pick up he is always smiling at her and blowing her kisses and is always very happy to go
to her. The nursery are very inclusive and always celebrate different holidays and festivals. My son does a wide range of activities when he's there. His speech and social skills have developed so much since starting.
Management are very friendly and approachable and always welcome my son personally into nursery. I am very happy with the care my son receives here.

Wonderful professional staff, as a parent I was concerned about my son when he started in Baby room at 6 months old but staff always kept me updated with his progress. Now my son is 3 and in Pre-school he can talk and tells me he wants to go to nursery. He enjoys every day attending Co-op Childcare

Absolutely outstanding nursery! My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old, she’s now almost 4. I was dreading the time I had to return to work, looked around lots of nursery settings and really did my homework.
If you want a nursery that offers peace of mind, security, great interaction
between staff and children then this is it. Nothing has ever been an ‘issue’. Staff go above and beyond each and every day!
Cleaners, kitchen, office and all key workers are so polite and spend the time to explain what my daughter's day was like. Each person I’ve interacted with have left me feeling positive.


The app is great and regularly updated during the day.


I’ve never felt worried or nervous about asking questions, or raising a query should I have one, I know it’ll be dealt with in a professional way.


My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery three days a week! We will be sad to leave, when it’s time for school.

Since my child has joined this nursery they have come on leaps and bounds.
Willing to help in any part of development that I suggest and they help and suggest techniques when it comes to those 'boundry testing' stages.

I am so pleased we chose this nursery for my daughter, she has attended nursery since she was 8 months old and moved to Co-op Nursery Finchfield when she was 2 and joined the preschool room in February 2020. My daughter was welcomed into the nursery and became comfortable with her teachers and her surroundings
very quickly. Ever since, my daughter has thrived with her learning and has enjoyed every day at this nursery. The food is very healthy and offers a lot of variety for children to try and staff update the app regularly for parents to keep track. There have been many changes over the past year due to the pandemic but Finchfield nursery have been faultless in how they have handled this, they keep parents updated and have taken every step to keep children safe. Finchfield have definitely prepared my daughter for school. I have a 3-month-old little one and I am already feeling positive about him starting his journey at Finchfield towards the end of the year.

The early years practitioners at Co-op Childcare Finchfield are fantastic and prepared our two children for school having been with the nursery from two years old through to the end of preschool. Both our children have loved going to the nursery and have developed relationships with all of their key
persons. We will miss the nursery after four years of fantastic childcare.

My son has been attending Finchfield nursery since September 2019. To say that we love the nursery is an understatement. The team are fantastic, they are like a family. They settle children in so well that my son walks in happily every day, has an amazing day with his carers and has learnt so much in
his time there. He has made great friends, built fantastic social abilities and it truly is a great place to send your children. I never feel worried about him. At pick up, you get a really lovely update on their day along with an update on the app detailing what they did that day. I can see the bond my child shares with his career and I value the nursery so much.

My baby currently goes here and loves it, can't recommend it enough. The room leader is so wonderful with my child and they seem to have a real bond. Wish I could go inside to see her in there but that's the Covid situation not allowing us. The food they give is great, a lot of variety and they do lots

Great nursery! The staff are all so friendly and whoever welcomes my little girl in always knows her name. My little girls key worker is amazing with my little girl. She makes us feel like we are leaving her with family, she encourages her development and keeps us up date on what she's been up to. We
can really tell that our little girl loves her and loves going to nursery. We have actually moved twenty three miles away from the nursery but still use them as they are so good. Another great thing about this nursery is the food they give them. We are amazed by the meals they give her. They also provide nappies, wipes and formula or milk so all we have to send with her are clothes. If you are thinking about using this nursery then I would say go for it as you will not regret it!

My son started nursery during the pandemic but they were really good at making us feel welcome. He has settled in really well now. The staff have been great and the updates on the app are very helpful. He hasn't really had much interaction before coming here because he was born just before the first
lockdown. Being at this nursery has really helped him to develop in so many ways. Fantastic place!
