Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Finchfield

My daughter has settled and formed a bond with all the workers she has had. She enjoys her time at nursery and I have no doubt that she is forward with her development due to the input from her nursery setting.

The staff are friendly, approachable and my child is doing very well. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of writing they do.

A fun, welcoming environment with a lot of experienced staff and a really good programme of activities. Good support for pre-school learning, all child-led and focussed.

Nursery is absolutely fantastic! They have helped my child to develop within himself so fast. I could not be happier with the staff at the nursery.

I'm more than happy to review The Co-operative Childcare Finchfield, credit where credit is due, my child adores her friends and 'her grown-ups'. The staff are so attentive from reception staff to key workers who all know my child and greet her every day she is there. I can leave my child knowing she is content in her surroundings and the people who care for her. The standard of the nursery itself is clear as soon as you walk in and I wouldn't expect the nursery to be any less than outstanding at Ofsted. I would always highly recommend The Co-operative Childcare Finchfield to anyone.

The nursery is fantastic and has supported my daughter from day 1, on her hardest days they comforted her and her best days they praised her. I can't thank them enough.

Finchfield Nursery is an outstanding facility. My child has just started and I can honestly say I’ve made the right decision joining there. The staff are lovely, welcoming and kind and my little girl loves her key workers!

Nice environment, high standards, very nice, caring staff. I wish the parents' app and updates were more up to date and just better overall. The newsletter is almost pointless as some of the events it talks about are already passed by the time it is received and it does not give essential details. Communication is not always very good regarding booking, payments etc. So, happy overall with this excellent nursery where my son is blossoming each week but could improve on some points given the high standards it is setting itself.

Great nursery, lovely staff and they always keep you updated on the children’s progress. Excellent learning pace and every child is treated as an individual. Spacious and great indoor and outdoor facilities.

My son has been coming to this nursery for nearly two years. We have been really pleased with his progress in this time. In particular, staff in the preschool room are so caring and considerate with him.

My only concern has been, at times, the staff turnover which has directly affected my daughter on a number of occasions.

My daughter has been with Co-operative since she was 10months old and she loves it. Staff are always pleasant and nothing is ever too much trouble. Since being in pre-school my daughter has had the opportunity to do Forest School, intergenerational programme, boogie mites and balance bikes which have been fantastic for her confidence which has grown two-fold. I love the parent app which keeps you up-to-date with your child's day and you can view their latest assessments. We have built up a good rapport with her pre-school EYP who always has the children's interests at heart and is always keen to get us involved in our daughter's learning. Recently a phonics workshop was held at the nursery to enable parent's to see how these were being taught as well as advising us on how we can help with their learning at home. We will be sad to say goodbye in July when big school calls but are thankful for all the staff for giving her the best start in her education. Keep up the great work.

He has really thrived as a result of his secure bond with his key person and all the staff within the unit. At nursery, he is a happy, chatty, kind little boy who has gained these attributes and confidence from the brilliant staff. I know how much they care and how hard they work.

Very interesting day. Informative and well presented. I would have been interested in viewing a few video clips on my child at play/in-class assessment.

My daughter has settled really well at this nursery in such a short space of time. It was such a big thing for me as I never wanted to send her anywhere, to be honest! Her room manager is fantastic, her key worker is just the most lovely person I have ever met and the manager is amazing, always has time to speak and make you feel at ease. I would most definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

My child has become very settled, happy and enjoys coming to this nursery. He is developing very well and I am so happy with the progress he is making. The staff do a great job in building his social skills with his peers. He gets on well with his key worker.

My child loves coming and is becoming much more confident. She is being looked after very well and I am extremely happy.

My daughter is very settled at this nursery, she has an excellent bond with her key worker and good relationships with staff and children. She has been there since she was 9 months old and has developed greatly since being here. Sometimes the food can be repetitive and very small portions sizes which is not always good value for money. The garden area is decking for the younger children which in bad weather can be very slippery and unsafe.
