Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Finchfield

It was lovely to be able to see my grandson at nursery. He was very excited to show me everything when I first arrived but we eventually settled to me reading a story which he loved. He took part in three activities; giving his responses to things mummy likes for a worksheet. He provided a 'portrait' of mummy using feathers, gold and silver strips and perfectly positioned the eyes and the nose, he had a little help from me with the feathers. Finally, he scooped some compost into a small paper pot and planted some seeds, then added compost on the top. He said he wanted to come with me when I left but then I said he was going to have sandwiches next he was happy to stay. He had a toilet break which was excellent , accompanied by a carer.

My little one has only been here since October, and is still getting used to the nursery, but I have such peace of mind when dropping him off that he's looked after. Nutritional meals- he's a picky eater, but it's so good they try and encourage him to eat. Would highly recommend. Fantastic nursery and staff.

Communication between home and nursery is exceptional.

Now that my child is in the preschool room, they absolutely love it. The younger rooms felt a bit too young for them, but they've really come into their own since moving up. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely involved, and there's so much learning happening every day. My child comes home excited to share everything they've discovered.

I like how we're updated throughout the day. My child is a picky eater and has found it difficult adapting to the meals at nursery; I like how she's provided opportunities to eat at different times. Overall, I'm happy that my child will be responded to and care for!

Little Pioneer Finchfield has been fantastic for my child. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely caring, making my child feel comfortable from day one. They take time to understand each child's needs and celebrate their progress. The nursery is always clean, hygienic, and well-organised, which gives me real peace of mind. Communication with parents is excellent, and it's clear the team put children's wellbeing first. I'd highly recommend them.

The nursery is very clean with plenty of space for children to play and have fun. The staff train the children to go to the toilet very easy and fun. My child has improved in communication skills and good behaviour skills by doing different activities every day in class. I highly recommend to all family and friends in the local community.

One of the most valuable aspects has been the consistent communication from the staff. Session-end feedback, weekly updates, and detailed development reports have given us insight into our child's growth and allowed us to build upon the excellent work being done at nursery.

My send my daughter here 4 full days a week and she is thriving here. The staff are great, they have spacious rooms and a massive garden. I have never had any issues, I get a daily update when I collect my child from a staff member. The learning they teach is fantastic, the food is fantastic which, I a plus point as is nutritional and healthy and staff are fantastic. There is always parking available for when I drop off/pick up my child. Ther is a secured place you can leave your pushchair once you have dropped off your child, saved having to it take back with you and great for when you need to leave straight for work. Always someone on reception if you need to call in or speak to someone. Overall definitely recommend sending your child here.

My daughter attends this setting has done since middle of last year. She has made so much progress in areas such as speech, controlling her emotions, making many new friends, succeeding in her learning journeys and much much more. She is now moving into a pre school room and the key worker has explained greatly how this will change her usual routine in the nursery but for the better! I have recommended this nursery to many friends and family and would 100% be sending future siblings here too. There is a lovely outdoor space for children to play and all rooms within the nursery have great toys and activities!

My son started in September and the ladies have been amazing with him. They have taken on board my concerns, listened to me about my son's needs, and done their best to put a plan in action to help him. My son loves his nursery team and this makes me a happy mom as I was very nervous about leaving him.

The nursery is lovely, the staff are so friendly and welcoming always. They are supportive and care about meeting the needs of your child. They are always there for a chat if you need help, advice or generally want to know more about your child's experience at the nursery. I feel they are nurturing and working towards developing your child's individual targets.

His key person is lovely and he always comes home happy and smiling.

From the moment I visited Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Finchfield to have a look around, I instantly knew it was a good nursery and I wanted to send my daughter to. I felt at home and every member of staff made me feel very welcome and important. Each member of staff are very knowledgeable, professional and showed a real passion for their profession. The nursery is modern, clean and all staff present themselves very well. Rooms are bright and tidy. The children's toilets are maintained to a high standard. I felt at ease sending my child here as all members of staff are trained in first aid. My child has learnt so much whilst being at the nursery and has excelled in all areas of development. The staff encourage the children. You're always kept informed about meal/snack times as well as toileting and how your child has been that day. My daughters key worker is amazing and is a credit to the nursery. Nursery is amazing and if you send your child here you will not regret it. The nursery is outstanding.

The nursery is fantastic, the staff are lovely and the facilities are great. My son loves it here and I'm really glad we found this nursery, I have recommended it to many mothers.

The staff at the nursery are great - they've used a personalised approach based on my son's needs and he is always raving about three staff members in particular.

My daughter has been attending Little Pioneers Finchfield since last July, we were impressed initially by the size of the rooms and resources and the team has a lovely friendly welcoming nature. She has settled really well and the team are absolutely fantastic with her, she loves coming to Nursery 3 days a week and she has thrived ever since, we couldn't recommend it enough!

We are very happy with our choice to send our child to Little Pioneers in Finchfield. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff at the nursery. They do some lovely activities and I always enjoy hearing what my child has been up to with the staff when I collect him.

I have used this nursery for over 7 years and cannot fault them. They have been very accommodating and help with the transition of returning back to work from maternity leave. A lot of feedback is provided via the app and upon collection and that makes you feel really reassured that your child is being looked after by brilliant staff.
