Co-op Childcare Finchfield has a large, busy and modern nursery, complete with an outstanding team who are all committed to meeting your child's development and care needs. Your child will also love being able to take their nursery teddy bears home for the weekend to go on exciting adventures.

The nursery is Green Eco Schools accredited, a programme that sees children make little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They use 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, from encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

They have a ParentZone app which keeps parents updated on how their little one is getting on at nursery with photos, assessments and even toilet training progress! They have a growing area for food which they also end up eating and have regular visits to a local care home.

Their local history comes to life at Finchfield as their children regularly go on trips to the park near the nursery and visit historic buildings there.

My son started at the Finchfield Nursery back in 2014, he has been in Caterpillars, Butterflies and currently he is in pre-school but will soon be leaving to start full-time school in September.
Every member of staff that has been part of my son's nursery journey have been amazing, and I thank them
all for helping him grow into the outgoing, confident and kind boy he is today. They have prepared him so well for starting reception and we know he is more than ready to begin his adventure at big school thanks to the hard work of the nursery.


My daughter also attends the nursery and she loves it! She has built great relationships with other children and staff.

My daughter has been having a great time. She loves going to nursery. She has learnt many new things and she has been eating better, she has tried new food at nursery and we are very pleased. Her key worker is great with her as are all the staff membersI have met so far.
We have followed advice given
to us by members of staff about activities they do with her that we can replicate at home.
My daughter seems to be very happy here and so are we.

My son's keyworker has, to date, offered outstanding support and commitment to ensure my son has settled into his classroom. She has been calm, kind and warm with my son, who has settled in well into his classroom. She has outstanding skills as an early intervention practitioner and always notifies
us of any key developments. My son's other keyworker has inputted excellent work into my son, who has become more confident and vocal. He often undertakes educational/learning sessions with my son, which he thoroughly enjoys and talks about at home. Since my son started this nursery at ten months, he has excelled and meeting all his developmental milestones. We appreciate all the support offered.

My daughter is loving her time at The Co-operative and bounces in most days. I have been very impressed with the staff in the pre-school room both with their care and attention to her development but also the range of extra activities now being offered such as forest school and bikes.

We love this nursery. The staff are very friendly and caring. They all seem to truly enjoy their jobs and love the children they care for. I feel like my child is being left with family when he's there. The facilities provided for the children are outstanding and we have seen so much progress in our

I have sent both my children to Co-operative Childcare Finchfield.
I have one in the toddler room and one in pre-school.
I have recommended this nursery to 3 - 4 friends.
The settling is friendly and welcoming with very good staff. They cater to the children's needs and more.

I feel the resources, facilities and activities were excellent before the nursery merged with the Bilston Nursery. Now that the butterflies room has moved upstairs it is more hassle for me to drop my daughter off quickly in the morning and I am concerned how carefully she is able to climb the stairs
when they go out to play. The new butterflies room is smaller than previously and the upstairs corridors are crowded. I look forward to when the Bilston Nursery can go back to their own building and this nursery may become as it used to be.

The nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment for our son.


He has a great bond with his key worker and he is flourishing.


The nursery/home link is fantastic, with visual and written nursery day and development updates. Homelink books and activities are provided to take home and return,

which strengthens the link.


The nursery provides nutritious meals and snacks catering for different dietary requirements, which was very important for us.


We really couldn’t ask for more from a nursery.

The Co-Operative Finchfield Nursery in Wolverhampton is a fantastic place for your child to flourish and develop their skills prior to moving on to Infants School. It is a great place where staff are readily available to detail every day what your child has done in that time and I am so glad we made

We are very happy with the service and care that Finchfield Nursery provides to my children. The nursery staff pay particular attention to development and learning activities with the kids, which is very much welcome. The best gauge I think for how well the nursery is operated is that the children

The nursery is a safe and professional environment. My daughter loves going and is welcomed by all the staff not just her key worker. She is a very clever girl and that is down to the curriculum they follow. The parent zone app which has been introduced is a fantastic tool as I now get live updates
on what she has eaten and what she is learning on that day.

The Co-op nursery is so helpful, friendly and supportive in providing updates and feedback on my daughter's development.
The staff are all friendly and take very good care of my daughter.
My daughter is always happy to go to nursery even when she’s not at her best due to teething.
The new parent
zone app is great. It’s updated at regular intervals, detailing meals, nappy changes, nap and also observational updates and pictures. A great insight into my daughters day and effortless to check.
This app clearly shows why the Co-op has received an outstanding rating from foster year upon year.
I would recommend to family and friends always and definitely continue to use the nursery for future children.
Thank you to all the staff for everything you do daily for my daughter and I.

My son is doing very well in many aspects of his development. Within a week of him starting nursery back in September, he was walking. He settled very quickly and I believe it was due to the staff who are very welcoming and attentive.
I'm glad I chose this nursery for my son to attend.
