The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall

My son has attended the Orange Tree Day Nursery since the age of one and is now an independent and confident toddler. The nursery provides exciting and engaging activities in their well equipped indoor and outdoor spaces. They have a wonderful sensory garden for babies, and for the older children, they have a secret garden, which is also home to the nursery’s chickens. The nursery encourages all areas of early years development with a range of activities from small world activities and reading to creative tables and messy play. They also choose different topics/themes each week to base their learning and activities. They have created a childcare experience that you simply don’t find anywhere else. My son loves the friendly and welcoming environment and adores every member of staff. It’s no surprise that the nursery is rated outstanding by Ofsted, as the whole team work hard together to provide the best standard of care. I wouldn’t send my child anywhere else.

Our daughter has been going since she just turned one; she is now 3.5-years-old. She absolutely loves it, now she's older, she role-plays all the fun she has there. Goes in happy every morning. All the staff are very welcoming, kind and caring. We've never experienced any issues. Her development in all areas is encouraged and grows each week. Such a variety of activities each week. Would highly recommend.

Both my daughters attend The Orange Tree Day Nursery and enjoy every minute. My eldest is always excited to go, which is great, and my youngest has settled in really well, especially during these current times. The staff are excellent, and both girls have created great bonds with their key workers The nursery has great outdoor space for them to run around, and the girls are always doing lots of activities. I would highly recommend the nursery to others.

Fantastic nursery and would always recommend to others. My son has been going for nearly 2-years, and he absolutely loves it. Good outdoor space and they always do great activities which have done wonders for his learning and development. He loves talking about the nursery, his friends and the staff.

And they have chickens! Which is what sealed the deal for me when we first viewed.

I would highly recommend The Orange Tree Day Nursery in Hucknall. My son has been here for four months now, and he loves it. He's come on so much in such a short time. All the staff are brilliant, but especially my son's key worker.

This nursery has been beyond incredible and supportive for me and my little boy, couldn’t speak more fondly of them. All the staff who have played a part in taking care of my son have been amazing with him, he absolutely adores them. A massive thank you to everyone there, always put me at ease no matter what I’ve thrown their way, highly recommend.

We absolutely love The Orange Tree Hucknall! All the staff are amazing and kind; they are excellent at communicating and listen, and most importantly, our little boy has thrived since being there! We will be so sad to say goodbye when we move away, the next preschool and school will have some very big shoes to fill! Thank you again, everyone there! Stay safe.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year now. I cannot recommend the nursery and the team enough! I’ve never had any issue. My son's development has been amazing, and that’s all thanks to each and every one of the staff members, I cannot thank them enough. Amazing team, amazing nursery!

My son, who is 3, started attending nursery in January 2021. He had a shaky start as all children do, but soon settled when he met his key workers. They are all fantastic, so jolly and patient with the kids. The nursery, itself is beautiful, we viewed many, and this is the best by far. A huge space with lots of things to do, including the secret garden, which my son loves. The meals are great, and during a horrible time in the pandemic, the nursery has put in place so many safeguarding things to keep the children and adults safe and healthy. Fantastic place for any child to attend!

My boy was such a shy boy, but since attending The Orange Tree, he has really come out his shell! He loves going and is smashing his milestones! His speech has also really come on since attending! I love the way they learn whilst they play and so much outdoor space for him to get some fresh air and to run around! Also, they are working through a pandemic and putting risk on themselves, yet they still give my son the attention he needs! 10/10 from me.

Both our youngest daughter have attended Orange Tree, my littlest is still there. She absolutely loves going and is always excited to go. The communication between staff and parents is excellent. They do a varied a range of activities, and I love getting little messages and photos through the day on the app they use telling me what my daughter has been up to. They also do the children’s daily diaries on there, which includes nappies/ toilet training and what they have eaten; this is amazing because it’s one less thing to have to remember to send each week.

The Orange Tree Day Nursery in Hucknall is amazing. My daughter is always so excited when she gets dropped off in the morning, and all the staff are lovely and so attentive. They take part in so many creative and fun activities,s and it's always so nice to see her so happy when we get our daily pictures through. I love the app, which not only shows us what she's been up to, but what she's eaten, how long she's slept etc. It really helps keep us informed on how she's doing, and we don't miss out on anything! The food she gets is so good that I'm usually jealous of what she's eating! I can't recommend this nursery enough, and it's such a peace of mind knowing that she's getting the care and attention needed to help her get the best start.

The staff all really care about the children and their development. Their hard work has continued throughout what has been a really challenging 2020/2021 as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

Our little boy has been at Orange Tree for nearly two years now, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are lovely, there's such a nice atmosphere, they do some amazing activities with the children, and communication is great.

The Orange Tree Day Nursery has been fantastic for our daughter since she started. She started during the pandemic, which was difficult for us as parents to make that decision, however, the staff have been fully supportive and have included us in the journey to settling her in. They give regular updates about her progress and her daily activities and achievements, which we find reassuring. The staff are all so friendly and professional. We would highly recommend the nursery.

Excellent nursery, my son was unsettled to start with for a few months, now he loves it, staff are all lovely and they have helped me with childcare at short notice, the girls here are a real credit.

A fantastic nursery with great staff who have helped my 22 month old settle well in his transition from home to nursery which at first he found difficult.
