The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall

All the staff at Orange Tree have been welcoming and supportive during my son's settling-in sessions and starting nursery. They ensured they gave us feedback and called us regularly on his first few days. We are so happy we have chosen Orange Tree.

Also the staff are all so friendly and honestly deserve medals for how they keep going all day, making the kids laugh and help them feel safe. I don't know how they do it but they are all angels.

My daughter loves the nursery and all of the staff, they are always so helpful and help my daughter a lot to progress with talking and walking and eating. She has only been attending for about a year and has come a long way since then!

Our experience with The Orange Tree Nursery has been nothing short of amazing! From the moment we first walked through the doors, we knew this was the perfect place for our children. Our eldest daughter has been attending for the past two years and our youngest daughter started just four weeks ago. The staff are exceptional, their dedication and passion for what they do shine through in every interaction. Since starting at the nursery both of our daughters have grown in confidence, independence, and social skills. The engaging activities, structured learning, and creative play sessions have been instrumental in their development. Communication with parents is also excellent. We are always kept informed about our children's progress, daily activities, and any milestones they reach. We cannot recommend The Orange Tree highly enough! The care, support, and nurturing environment they provide are outstanding. If you are looking for a nursery where your child will thrive, this is the place.

My little girl feels very well at this nursery, she has developed a lot both physically and emotionally, she is sociable and more welcoming. This nursery also has very good conditions and the garden outside offers the children a healthy play space.

My son has been at Orange Tree for a year now after moving here from another nursery. He has progressed significantly in a very supportive and nurturing environment. The nursery have supported and enabled him to learn how to manage and express his emotions as well as progress his academic learning and skills ready for attending school later this year. Every day he has fun, he can't wait to tell me about his day with his friends and the staff. I love that they access outdoors no matter the weather and can utilise the garden for growing plants and vegetables as well as look after the chickens. I cannot thank Orange Tree enough for their passion and support over the last year. I went from a very stressed and anxious mum that my son wasn't progressing as he should and cried at his previous nursery every day to a mum that knows she can go to work feeling that he is happy and supported.

Absolutely love this nursery! The staff is incredibly friendly and caring, always making sure my child is happy and well-cared for. The facilities are clean, safe, and full of fun, educational activities that keep my little one engaged.

The staff at The Orange Tree made my daughter's transition to nursery the best experience. From putting her name on the welcome board for her first settling-ins to providing in-depth daily observations along with plenty of pictures of her happy and smiling, they put both myself and my partner at ease. My daughter has already formed close bonds with the members of staff in her room, and it is clear to see how good each of the staff members are at their jobs. They are always available for a chat, drop offs and pick ups never feel rushed and everyone is so welcoming.

My son is behind in his verbal communication. However, the nursery works so well with him and are so attentive towards his needs and development. The facilities and areas within the nursery are fantastic, it is such a breath of fresh air to send my child to this nursery.

Safe environment, friendly staff members, good update on how the day went at pick-up. The Orange Tree impressed me the first time around and I have no regrets having made this choice because of the above reasons.

So many lovely staff members! My son started in September and he’s settled in so well. He now goes into the room by himself on his nursery days and gives the carer for the day a cuddle too. Thank you so much for all you do we appreciate you very much.

We attended the graduation day at the nursery, which was heartwarming and goes to show that the children really are individuals who are cared about. We are sad to be saying goodbye to The Orange Tree and thank them for playing a part in getting my daughter to where she needs to be for starting school.

My daughter has attended three different nurseries since she was 10 months. As a parent, you feel guilty moving your child around. Since we’ve settled in our first home in Nottingham we made the best decision for our daughter to join The Orange Tree Day Nursery. She has settled in so well and is loved by everyone.

I can’t thank the staff enough for all their hard work and patience with the kids. It’s an amazing environment and our daughter has developed so much in a space of 6 months.

Amazing nursery! Both of my children have attended here. The ladies here have really helped my daughter come out of her shell. They do so many fun activities with the children. My daughter has improved so much with her socialising. Thank you.

A fantastic nursery, with staff who actually care and get to know the children and families. My daughter has been attending the nursery for just under 3 years and loves it every day. She has learnt so much including Spanish. She has made amazing friendships and her key worker has a brilliant relationship, making my daughter feel comfortable when upset and happy and excited about each activity. Highly recommend.

Our children love their days at The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall! The staff are warm and friendly and keep us informed about our children’s experiences throughout the week with observations through the app. Would 100% recommend this nursery to other parents!

My little boy has been attending The Orange Tree Day Nursery for 2 years this month and there aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful the nursery has been. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting. The staff are amazing and super engaging with the children, always with a smiley welcoming face. Our son has been with The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall since before he was 1, he is now 3. They have done a fantastic job nurturing, educating and protecting him. We are grateful to all the workers that have been in his life over his crucial development stage. He absolutely loves the nursery and the staff, he's always asking to see them or be at the nursery and this is a great feeling to know. I'd highly recommend this nursery and its flexibility to assist and help emergency service workers also. Thank you for everything you all do, I only wish the government rewarded all nurseries with the support and funding that you deserve.

My son has been attending The Orange Tree for a year and a half now, he absolutely loves it. His development has come on leaps and bounds. Staff always listen and work with you to try and do what’s right for your child and you as a family, management are amazing and helpful and has resolved queries and issues rapidly. The activities, rooms and outside space are amazing, my son loves playing outside and in the gym. The nursery is clean and just has such a lovely feel to it, so glad I chose this nursery for my son to attend was the best choice I made.
