The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall

My daughter loves her nursery, I have been extremely happy with her progress and development. The girls are all fantastic and my daughter really does have a very trusting and positive relationship with all of them. I couldn't have found a better place for my daughter to be, while I'm at work I know I don't have to worry. I trust them totally, we are very grateful for how hard the girls all work and their positive and fun attitude towards work. Thanks.

My little boy has been attending The Orange Tree for (almost) a year. I came to look around The Orange Tree after hearing good things about the low staffing ratios and was instantly impressed with how homely it felt and how friendly the staff are. I bought my child for a taster session the next day and he was so happy. He loves the food, there is an indoor gym so he can burn off energy even when the weather is bad and loves playing outside. He has lots of friends and talks about his nursery nurses so fondly. I've noticed how much time the staff put in with him. He is reading already, can write his name and talks in full sentences and is just gone 3 years old and is always encouraged to be himself. I believe much of how content and confident he is is down to all at The Orange Tree. He will be staying until he starts school at 5 years old. This was his third nursery and by far the best he's been to.

My son has attended The Orange Tree Day Nursery since 2015 and I couldn't be happier with the care he receives. The staff are amazing and the nursery itself is such a clean, safe and nurturing environment. I have recommended the nursery to friends who now also send their children.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. We moved to Hucknall last year and was worried about my little boy settling in but the staff here were fantastic. He straight away formed a close bond with select few staff members who encouraged him to play with other children and really come out of his shell. Now he absolutely loves going to nursery every day and has so many friends who he gets excited to see every day. It is such a relief seeing your child run off and wave goodbye to you each morning knowing he is happy and in safe hands.

Such a breath of fresh air compared to other nurseries which my child has been to previously - the environment is so bright, modern and clean. He really has come on leaps and bounds since starting at The Orange Tree and with another child on the way, I feel comfortable knowing both my children will thrive here. Only downside is that it is quite expensive in comparison to other nurseries but I would rather pay a little extra for the standard of care you receive.

Such a wonderful nursery - our child has been coming here since 12 months old and our second child will be coming here later this year. The nursery is light, bright and very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and professional and you feel confident that your child is in safe hands and being looked after to the highest standard. The activities for the children are tailored according to age and are varied each day with lots of creative/messy play with an educational element in a lot of what they do. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Our daughter loves going here each day. There is so much for the children to do and the outside space is brilliant for the kids to play. The staff who look after her are brilliant. We get a daily update on what she has been up to.

Our daughter has developed a lot since joining in June 2016 and is very happy attending nursery now.

My boys started the nursery in early January and I have been so impressed with the staff and how they both have come on. My eldest loves to sing and hes so good at so many different nursery rhymes his talking and communication have come on too. My youngest has come on so quick too. He is one very soon and is so forward in everything he does they have really bought him on with his eating. I love the milestones and challenges they set for my boys, it shows they actually care about every child there and they no exactly where every single child is with this too. They build such a nice bond between them, its lovely to see someone else care about your kiddies and have a genuine interest in their development and care.

The Orange Tree day nursery is a lovely friendly environment. The staff have a very professional and helpful manner. My daughter really enjoys attending the nursery and has formed close bonds with all staff members.

The staff and manager are all lovely people. I look forward to seeing them almost as much as my daughter. Every morning, one of the first things my daughter asks me is if she can go to nursery. She loves the staff there, and her little friends. They have great activities, such as; baking, painting, messy play, role play, story time, singing and lots of outdoor toys. On top of this she is learning so much: counting, reading letters and her name, as well as manners and social interactions. We will miss this place very much when she goes to school. I can go to work guilt free as she prefers going to nursery than staying at home.

I had to drop off and pick up my granddaughter for the first time and I had never been to the nursery before so I didn't know what I was going! I was greeted at the door with a happy smiley face who guided me through the morning drill! All the staff were very welcoming and made me feel at ease straight away, when I went back in the evening to collect my granddaughter the staff gave me lots of information about her day and they had even taken the time to make me a card which was truly wonderful!

I cannot fault this nursery in any factor at all. My son has been attending for 3 months now and his development and progress is coming on leaps and bounds. He is confident, well mannered and well behaved and I have the staff at the nursery to thank for this. A very well equipped, well managed and well organised nursery with some very professional caring and polite nursery staff.

My son has been at The Orange Tree a couple of years roughly when they took over from the old nursery and the owner and staff have been very supportive. My son is very close to his key worker and likes nursery. He has plenty of friends and the staff are lovely. They do plenty of educational activities with the little ones too.

The Orange Tree is a fantastic nursery and has gone from strength to strength since my daughter started April 14. The staff are excellent with nothing too much trouble and have done wonders bringing our little girl out of her shell and encouraging confidence for her further to develop. She loves it there and cannot praise them enough.
