The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall

Perfect nursery. Never had any problems at all. They have really helped bring my daughter's development on and the facilities they offer are fantastic. Couldn’t ask for any more from the staff, as my little girl always comes home really happy, talking about all the things she’s done at nursery!

I would like to thank the manager at Orange Tree for being so great recently, very supportive and flexible when I needed my son to attend an extra day/to swap a day. We have experience of speaking to/dealing with staff in most groups at the nursery as staff have rotated during my son's time there. They are all fantastic, professional and caring and always put our child's needs first and provide great feedback at the end of every session. Would highly recommend this nursery to any parent/carer looking for a day nursery.

My little boy has been attending the Orange Tree since he was 14 months and he is now 3. He has come on in leaps and bounds since being at nursery. He loves attending and always asks if it’s a nursery day, even at the weekend. He adores the staff and always speaks about them at home. The Orange Tree is a lovely nursery and I would recommend it!

The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall is an absolutely brilliant nursery and my little boy loves it. He was really struggling with his speech but in just the few short months he has been attending the nursey he has come along leaps and bounds. They have the best activities and all the staff are amazing. Best nursery in town, hands down.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old (and is now almost 2 and a half) and absolutely loves it, and practically runs in every morning. The staff are amazing and so helpful - I have never had any concerns regarding my daughter and know she has a fab time every day. I will be very sad when she eventually leaves and goes to school, they have set the bar extremely high - they have definitely earnt their ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating.

My twin girls have been going to The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall since they were 16 months old. All the staff are so lovely and have really supported them in their learning. One of the girls is quite shy and cautious of new people but the staff were so welcoming and caring that she soon settled in. They have now moved into the next room as they are 2, and the ladies in there have been fab at potty training the girls. I feel so happy leaving my girls there and would highly reccomend it to anyone.

My daughter started nursery here in August 2021, and since she started she has absolutely thrived! She only goes once a week, but she has the best time and is so so happy here! I only looked at one nursery when it was time to send her to one, and I never looked back. 10000% recommend The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall to anyone! Despite only going once a week, the relationship between the staff and my daughter, as well as myself, has built quickly and strongly!

My daughter has been attending The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall since she was 13 months old and will be leaving in September to start school, an outstanding nursery with the most amazing staff that have a lot to give to all the children that attend, always go above and beyond and my daughter has come on in leaps and bounds which is down to everyone that works there. Amazing food menus and excellent learning activities.

Would 10000% recommend The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall, my daughter has been going there since September 2021, when she first started going she was hardly putting sentences together now you have full on conversations with her! My daughter enjoys going to nursery and wishes she could go every day, the staff are amazing and are the kindest people could not fault them at all! I’ve never had any problems with the nursery and they always contact straight away with an incident etc!

I have had 2 children attend The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall one still goes the other is now in school. They both absolutely love it and have such good bonds with all the staff. Staff are very welcoming with smiley faces and cheery voices. Management is fantastic and always helps with anything that you need. Both the outdoor and indoor space is amazing and have plenty of learning opportunities even from the baby room. My youngest daughter has dietary requirements and is still given plenty of choices as to what she can have during the week. Huge thank you to all the staff and The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall for helping both children to learn and grow to their full abilities.

My son has been coming since September 2020 as a baby and all staff have been amazing with him and gone the extra mile when needed. He loves it and will be sad to leave when he goes to school nursery soon.

The Orange Tree day nursery Hucknall completely lives up to its ofsted ‘outstanding’ name! My daughter, who is currently 18months old, has been attending now for around 6 months and she loves every day that she spends with the lovely ladies at Orange Tree. It’s so reassuring to know that my child is loved just as much there as she is with us at home. As a covid parent myself, she’s never spent a day away from me nor has she mixed with any other children so I was incredibly worried about how she would be without me and how I’d cope without her too. But the girls have been nothing but helpful and supportive - they’ll always keep me updated and nothing is ever too much! Even my regular phone calls just to check-in! They are fantastic and the resources are amazing. I visited many nurseries before and none of them stood out like this one! I’m so happy that I made the right choice. There is a great manager and it really shows. I 1000% recommend that’s for sure!

My little one loves it there. He's learned so much as is always excited to be at school. We have never had any concerns about leaving him at Nursery. The team is always very available for any queries or concerns. I will recommend the Nursery.

We have had a great experience with The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall so far. Despite the Covid restrictions we have still been able to build relationships with staff members and be kept in the loop with what’s going on. The daily diary published on the app is fantastic it gives us so much detail about our child’s day. Our child absolutely loves the nursery and comes back every day happy. The facilities are much better than other nurseries we have seen.

The facilities are excellent and are constantly being developed and improved. The food is varied and healthy and children regularly get involved in age-appropriate food tech activities.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was thirteen months old. She absolutely loves it. The staff are brilliant with her and have always got a wide range of fun activities planned. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our little boy has been going to The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall since he was fourteen months old. He has additional needs but has been welcomed into nursery from the very first day we went to look round. I honestly couldn't ask for more. He has one to one support to work on his targets set by external support. They give updates every day with photo's of what the children have been doing. We have parents evening to have an opportunity to discuss anything needed but you can just call anytime to do this also. They have also made birthday cards and cards when he has had an operation! For me, its that they understand him as an individual and appreciate his needs and milestones will be different to the other children. I felt this from the very first time we visited and I didn't get this at another nursery I looked at. I honestly can't thank them enough for everything they've done over the last two years. He is so happy at drop off and comes out very happy at the end of every day!

How do I put into words how fantastic the team at this nursery are? Our second child has just started full time here at 6 months old and despite being a pandemic baby who is very clingy, she has taken to the team so easily and clearly loves her time there as I knew she would. When we were looking for nurseries for our first child, who is now four, we obviously did the obligatory online search but the ratings didn't quite do this place justice. From the moment one member of staff opened the gate to welcome us all those years ago, we knew our child would have not just care but loads of love as well, which is more than you can ever hope for as a mother leaving your child to strangers. The team at The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall are so kind, engaged and happy with the children and it's shines out of them every day. My four year old still calls all her Elsa dolls after the manager and says "I miss my old nursery, I love the manager so much". Genuinely wouldn't send our children anywhere else!

My son has attended the Orange Tree Day Nursery since the age of one and is now an independent and confident toddler. The nursery provides exciting and engaging activities in their well equipped indoor and outdoor spaces. They have a wonderful sensory garden for babies, and for the older children, they have a secret garden, which is also home to the nursery’s chickens. The nursery encourages all areas of early years development with a range of activities from small world activities and reading to creative tables and messy play. They also choose different topics/themes each week to base their learning and activities. They have created a childcare experience that you simply don’t find anywhere else. My son loves the friendly and welcoming environment and adores every member of staff. It’s no surprise that the nursery is rated outstanding by Ofsted, as the whole team work hard together to provide the best standard of care. I wouldn’t send my child anywhere else.

Our daughter has been going since she just turned one; she is now 3.5-years-old. She absolutely loves it, now she's older, she role-plays all the fun she has there. Goes in happy every morning. All the staff are very welcoming, kind and caring. We've never experienced any issues. Her development in all areas is encouraged and grows each week. Such a variety of activities each week. Would highly recommend.
