The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall is a beautiful nursery set in wonderful grounds in the centre of Hucknall. Specialist experienced staff will provide fun learning opportunities and experiences for your child from 6 weeks to 5 years of age and holiday and out of school provision for children up to 8 years of age.

The Baby Suite provides a tranquil place where your baby will be nurtured and cherished, baby music and sensory sessions will provide stimulation and fun.

Your child will have an opportunity to learn French, learn to swim and take part in 1st Ball Sports sessions.

Fully funded places are available for 2, 3, and 4 year olds. Please feel welcome to visit at any time.

My son has been coming to The Orange Tree since he was two. Honestly, I could not recommend this nursery enough! The girls literally go above and beyond to make sure my son is happy and safe. They have supported me as my son is on the Autism Spectrum and The Orange Tree staff have given him so much
time and care. Nothing is ever too much for them. The Managers at the Orange Tree are currently supporting me in getting my son into a routine ready for school as well, so I don't have to worry. The staff just go above and beyond and will always do what's best for the children. No other nursery even comes close in my opinion. Thank you for all the support, cuddles given to my son, the care and the time you take out just to make sure he is happy. I've witnessed this on many occasions when I've picked him up. The nursery itself is massive, with plenty of space and activities for the kids and every where is spotless! I'm actually going to be so gutted next year when my son leaves.

My daughter has been at the nursery since July and since then has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are amazing and so caring and really go above and beyond to make sure her days are filled with fun! She always has a huge smile on her face from the moment she walks in, to the moment I pick her up
and as a parent that makes me feel so at ease knowing she's happy and content in her environment. The app is also great as the staff keep you informed on what your child has been doing throughout the day with photos and keeps track of how much she's eaten when she's napped & nappy changed etc. and they are quick to give you a ring if she's ever had a little accident or hurt herself which is amazing. I couldn't recommend Orange Tree Nursery enough!

Absolutely lovely nursery. My son started in September and loves his time there. He is really excited every day he goes and has had lots of positive experiences already within the nursery. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They cater to my son's needs for GF so it doesn't feel like he misses
out at meal times. The staff are all great and supportive, the environment is clean and modern with lots of different play spaces. We 100% made the right choice choosing Orange Tree at Hucknall.

I can't praise Orange Tree Nursery, Hucknall enough for everything they do for our 3-year-old son. Their support in his additional needs, particularly around speech and language, has been and continues to be excellent. Since starting in September 2022, his speech has improved beyond all expectations.
He loves all the staff and runs to them each morning at drop off and back to them at pick up!
The wide range of facilities are of high quality and they do a variety of activities each day. A truly excellent nursery and wonderful staff.

These girls are genuinely the best in the business, they are always kind and helpful and always have a smile on their face. I've sent both my daughters here and they have had the best time every day. The management team are amazing, especially the blonde one. All the girls in the rooms are also fantastic.
I can't speak highly enough of these girls at nursery.

The staff are absolutely amazing they are not only good with my son, but they also exceed expectations with me. On days where my son is a bit off, they handle him very carefully and always reassure me later on that he's fine with a photo.

I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. My son started at around 10 months old, after being a lockdown baby he wasn’t comfortable being around anyone other than his household. He took a while to settle in but with their care, love and persistence he eventually got there. He has come on leaps and bounds
thanks to the staff that work with him. He comes home so happy talking about his day there which makes me so at ease knowing he is in the best hands!

I couldn’t recommend The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall enough my little boy has been going since he was 10 months and will be off to pre school soon. They have always been fantastic and never had any issues and they always worked with us to bring on his confidence and now he loves it that much he
doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day he’s having so much fun with his teachers and friends. They do lots with them throughout the day and they learn a lot it really brings them on. Highly recommended fantastic nursery with lots of room to explore and plenty of activities and can relax knowing he’s well looked after by all the staff.

Really happy with Orange Tree nursery. My little girl has attended for around eight months now since moving to the area, the staff have been brilliant - from the office staff sorting her placement, the management for the show around and settling in sessions and the staff in the rooms my little one has
been in. The nursery is always quick to respond to questions and is good at communicating issues via email and the nursery app. We often get photos and progress updates of what my daughter has been doing and what she enjoys. I feel confident my daughter enjoys her time there - she often asks to go on non-nursery days and says she has had fun playing with her friends. The nursery has a lovely outdoor area split into room sections and it's nice to see the children playing during pick-up time. The two rooms my daughter has been in are full of toys and books with access to a gym area with soft play-type equipment. I'll have no problems sending my youngest there when I return to work

Used The Orange Tree nursery for both children, from babies through to pre-school and they are fantastic. Great facilities, lovely, caring staff. Both children loved the activities, the learning is relevant and fun. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Orange Tree has seen my daughter and now my son through their pre-school lives with my little boy finishing, ready for school in a few weeks. They have been amazing from start to finish and we will miss being part of the Orange Tree family.
All the staff put so much effort into every child and really
get to know them on an individual level. The facilities are brilliant and well suited to each age group. I would fully recommend it to anyone looking for a happy, safe place for their children.

Perfect nursery. Never had any problems at all. They have really helped bring my daughter's development on and the facilities they offer are fantastic. Couldn’t ask for any more from the staff, as my little girl always comes home really happy, talking about all the things she’s done at nursery!

I would like to thank the manager at Orange Tree for being so great recently, very supportive and flexible when I needed my son to attend an extra day/to swap a day. We have experience of speaking to/dealing with staff in most groups at the nursery as staff have rotated during my son's time there. They
are all fantastic, professional and caring and always put our child's needs first and provide great feedback at the end of every session. Would highly recommend this nursery to any parent/carer looking for a day nursery.

My little boy has been attending the Orange Tree since he was 14 months and he is now 3. He has come on in leaps and bounds since being at nursery. He loves attending and always asks if it’s a nursery day, even at the weekend. He adores the staff and always speaks about them at home. The Orange Tree
is a lovely nursery and I would recommend it!

The Orange Tree Day Nursery Hucknall is an absolutely brilliant nursery and my little boy loves it. He was really struggling with his speech but in just the few short months he has been attending the nursey he has come along leaps and bounds. They have the best activities and all the staff are amazing.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old (and is now almost 2 and a half) and absolutely loves it, and practically runs in every morning. The staff are amazing and so helpful - I have never had any concerns regarding my daughter and know she
has a fab time every day. I will be very sad when she eventually leaves and goes to school, they have set the bar extremely high - they have definitely earnt their ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
