The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Hucknall is a beautiful nursery set in wonderful grounds in the centre of Hucknall. Specialist experienced staff will provide fun learning opportunities and experiences for your child from 6 weeks to 5 years of age and holiday and out of school provision for children up to 8 years of age.

The Baby Suite provides a tranquil place where your baby will be nurtured and cherished, baby music and sensory sessions will provide stimulation and fun.

Your child will have an opportunity to learn French, learn to swim and take part in 1st Ball Sports sessions.

Fully funded places are available for 2, 3, and 4 year olds. Please feel welcome to visit at any time.

Really good nursery, kids love going and they are always a great help and they go above and beyond.
The kids are thriving and they have come so far since they started in September. All the staff are amazing and make you feel welcome all the time.

Lovely place to send our daughter. Her development has been noticeable ever since she began at The Orange Tree. She loves going to see her friends and the team.

In the beginning, during his early days, the nursery staff were very reassuring and very friendly. Day one and two there were a few tears but they gave me a little pack of teabags, chocolate and a poem to say don’t worry mummy I am in good hands, I had regular pictures and updates. After his first week,
he was so happy. When I would go to collect he wouldn’t want to leave. Sometimes I would see him from the window before I went inside and he would be busy playing with his friends or he would be having cuddles with the staff. He loves the staff and they love him. Couldn’t have found a better nursery where everyone has a smile on their face, is so loving and genuinely want to be there. The facilities are excellent and my son loves the gym and outdoors! Even indoors he loves being creative. The best thing is we get daily updates on food diary, sleep and nappies and a brief summary of what they did. Not enough words to describe how excellent the team and facilities are! We love it here.

I really can't fault The Orange Tree at all! For all they have done for my son, I will be forever grateful to them, with his speech and for supporting him in becoming a big brother! He always comes home telling me all about his day, obsessed with his teachers! And telling me what groups he has been
in! Every day he asks me what day is it, is it nursery day? And when I reply it's a nursery day he jumps up, he loves it that much, I don't even get a goodbye! I am going to be so, so sad when he leaves for big school!
This nursery will always be 10/10 for my son!

My child has settled so well here and loves attending nursery. He has developed so much since starting. His speech was a worry but now he is a little chatterbox. The staff are always warm and welcoming and my little boy loves them all.

This nursery and it's staff are all so lovely! Daughter has been in for two years and has a great time, learnt loads and really developed her skills, vocabulary and confidence. Would recommend, in fact, we did and she's just joined with her daughter. We have every confidence in the staff and management!

My daughter had just started here and she had adapted very quickly, the staff are very friendly and my daughter always talks about her favourite teachers. She does different activities every day and she really enjoys going to nursery and looks forward to the next day. I’m happy I chose this nursery
as it gives my daughter the attention she needs. I would highly recommend it! Being a nursery nurse myself who has worked in high-rated nurseries, I have to say this is a very good nursery. She always has great snacks and dinner and shows more interest in food!

My daughter has just started at The Orange Tree after previously going to another nursery. The Orange Tree has been fantastic at attending to and ensuring her medical needs can be met, unlike her previous nursery! As parents, this is very reassuring to know she is being cared for by fully trained staff.
Since starting my daughter has been made to feel very welcome by the staff who have taken the time to get to know her and communicate with us as parents.

My daughter started in January 2023 and they have been amazing. My daughter has been a very poorly baby and I'm quite an anxious mother. I feel completely at ease when I drop her off I get daily notifications and pictures of what she is up to. There are two particular members of staff who are amazing
and brilliant at their job, couldn't recommend a better nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves going to The Orange Tree Nursery. She attends four days a week and the staff are like family. She gets so excited to see them. They do lots of fun activities each day. We get regular updates sharing what she has been up to. The facilities are bright and colourful. Lots of
toys to play with and regular crafting activities. My daughter's development has come on leaps and bounds. I can go to work and not worry as I know she's in good care.

My daughter loves going to Orange Tree! She has made amazing connections with the staff, who are committed, thoughtful and enthusiastic. I receive a daily diary, photos and updates on a regular basis and the staff are always around to inform you of your child's day when you pick them up. The management
team are great, they have always catered for myself when I need to book an extra day and have always been quick to resolve any worries or issues. I am always informed about any bumps or accidents through a phone call from the staff and a briefing at the end of the day. My child has made great progress whilst attending the nursery. The indoor and outdoor areas are enriching and provides an engaging curriculum. Thank you!

My son has only been going to Orange Tree for a few months, but his confidence has grown so much already. I am so grateful to all the ladies for all of their kindness, patience and support. My only regret is not sending him sooner! Fantastic, friendly nursery, with lots of learning opportunities.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. They always go above and beyond and have helped so much with settling my little girl. As a first-time mum, I was very anxious about leaving my little one but they were so caring and always keep me updated with how she is doing. They do a wide range of activities
and my little one has come on so much since being at nursery. I can't wait to continue my journey with The Orange Tree and watch how my little one grows and develops! Thank you to all the staff!
