Bright Horizons Kingston Day nursery and preschool is a charming, converted house that spans three floors. The nursery features spacious, well-lit rooms tailored to suit each age group. Conveniently situated just a five-minute walk from Kingston town centre, the bus station, and Kingston train station, the nursery offers a perfect and easily accessible location for families.

Children aged two and above can enjoy in-house Spanish lessons and explore the music and light box areas for exciting sensory experiences. We have always been thrilled with the nursery. Both our children have been and developed so well there. They have become confident, sociable, happy children and have developed a love of learning. We have very good experience with our Bright Horizons branch in Kingston upon Thames on Richmond Road. From the rough beginning as it happens to be during the Covid pandemic until now. I feel like my daughter is in very good help. She loves all staff members and she's talking about them outside the
nursery. She keeps asking over the weekend if she can go to the nursery.

Both of my sons have attended this nursery and pre-school so I would fully recommend it. Its warmth, familiarity, sense of personal commitment to each child, creative activities enjoyed and sense of care are really valued. Openness about a variety of topics and approachability, in general, is great
too. Plus the extended childcare hours available (07:00 am - 18:30 pm) are very appreciated and were - and remain - a key contributor in choosing a nursery.

My son has been at the nursery for a year now. I found the settling really hard but the staff gave me so much reinsurance and support which made it easier. I'm so grateful for everything his teachers do. The passion and care provided is amazing and I'm just happy to see my son so happy when I collect
him every day. He always likes to share stories about what he's done during the day and always comes home with something he's baked, drawn or made.

It has only been one month and three weeks since my son joined nursery and he finds it quite comfortable playing with teachers. I am happy to see him playing in the classroom not crying. The only difficulty is that he continuously has a cold ever since he attended the class.

I love Asquith! We have our second child here now and many years on from when the first one was here, a number of the staff, the values and the feel have not changed. This is a credit to the local management, who despite the corporate changes and a new building have kept the atmosphere of a nurturing

My daughter has been with Asquith Kingston since 2015. She has always had great bonds with her key people.

This nursery is exceptional. From the moment I viewed the nursery as a prospective family, I have felt welcomed and inspired by the staff. The nursery is bright and clean with large rooms and well designed outdoor learning space. For us we knew we wanted our child to attend this nursery as soon as we
stepped through the door and met various members of staff. My 1-year-old child loves attending, has a lovely bond with all her key workers and as parents, we have confidence and trust in the staff. Cannot recommend enough!

Both my son aged 2 and daughter aged 4 attends this nursery and we are extremely happy with their experiences there. They both settled into their respective rooms very well and have strong bonds with the staff within their rooms. We are very pleased with the high-quality care and attention the children
receive and compared with other nurseries staff retention and therefore consistency has been excellent.

This nursery has always helped me with any challenges I have experienced with my daughter. From sleep training and potty training to education. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food menu is also wonderful and she has branched out on the of food she eats due to the varied menu. Staff retention
is also very good, my daughter has been with the nursery for two years now and there has been very little change in staff. Which really helps with my daughters routine and day to day life. I would highly recommend Kingston Day Nursery in Kingston.

Having moved house a couple of times with 2 kids, we’ve tried our share of nurseries, and Asquith is by far the best one our kids have attended. Especially impressive and reassuring is the low staff turnover. It’s lovely to see my daughter building relationships with her carers. The facilities are excellent
and the outside space is impressive.

Hi, I'm Lytisha the nursery manager.


I bring over 10 years of childcare experience, supporting children's development from infancy to preschool, holding a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in children and young people's workforce.


Building strong relationships with both my staff and families, I stay updated on early years through regular training courses and webinars. My passion lies in applying this knowledge to uphold high childcare standards and supporting my team.


Balancing managerial duties with hands-on interactions with children, I aim to instil a warm family atmosphere in every nursery. I actively involve families in their children's learning, continuously training my staff to provide the best early years education. Witnessing children's growth and learning at Kingston is incredibly rewarding, and I am dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating environment that fosters their full potential.

I have been at Kingston Day Nursery for over 8 years and progressed through the nursery from Nursery nurse to Deputy manager. I have a foundation degree in Early years (level 5).


I have worked in all age groups but my speciality is under 2s as this is the age group I have worked with the most while being at the nursery. It's amazing to watch the children develop and grow throughout the nursery through a safe and stimulating environment, during my time at Kingston I have created relationships with all parents and staff.


I keep my knowledge up to date by researching current information and then embedding this into the nursery to ensure my team has sound knowledge.
