We are very happy for our daughter to join the nursery three days a week. We do think it's a great chance for her to become a balanced little person. The positive environment has encouraged her to learn so many social skills such as eating with a spoon, cleaning herself and her table after lunch. We
are always amazed by her improvements and those are guiding us to know what to expect from her. We consider the experienced staff as partners in our daughter's education. Her key person when she started was fantastic and the whole staff provides a very secure environment for the children. Also, we find the daily activities interesting and stimulating. Our daughter loves all artistic activities and she can do this every day. To finish, we do appreciate the warm welcome that our children and ourselves parents receive from the management staff and the teachers when we arrive in the nursery. The overall impression is that of a very professional and friendly nursery.

My niece loved her time spent at Northcote road day nursery.
The staff welcomed her with open arms and she has not stopped talking about the time she spent there and how lovely the food was. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter has been going to Northcote Road Day Nursery for a year and after taking some time to settle, she now very much enjoys her one day a week at nursery.
From the start, all her key staff have been friendly, approachable and informative.
I would have no hesitation to recommend Northcote
to a parent.
My only negative is that the nursery compares to others is very expensive, however, it is my choice to use Northcote as it is very close to my work.

My daughter's experience of Bright Horizons Northcote Road could not have been better and it's been built on a team who really care for the kids - all of the other brilliant things (and there are many) flow from there.


It's a pleasure having a child excited and happy to go to nursery each morning

and role play being her favourite nursery staff when she's at home - clearly, something is going very right. And now in pre-school, she's thriving amongst all of the extra-curricular opportunities and more structured learning.


Thanks to the team for everything over the last two years - you've been brilliant.

I was in need of emergency childcare for half term whilst my nanny was off and the team was great, they helped my child settle in and gave handovers at the end of each day with what my child had been doing.
My son got on very well and wanted to go back he did Teddy Tennis, and Spanish all in one week
he was very excited.
My son does not eat pork and they were able to cater for his need.

A fun and learning sanctuary for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers!


Staff are the most valuable asset of this nursery, genuinely committed to doing their utmost to provide an enriched experience for the development of each child. The staff diversity and bubbly characters enhance even more the children's

learning experience.


There is however an opportunity for improvement with the chef's absence (qualified senior nurse covering the position currently) and the facilities improving the upkeep of the exterior (front area), the lift (recurrent inoperability, no light, missing screws on main panel and loose call buttons) and the buggy storage area (untidy with forgotten children's clothes, papers and dust) as this should reflect the excellent quality of the nursery services and staff.

Both my children are happy here and the staff seem to genuinely love and care for the children. My only concern is that there is no formal chef in place - she is on long-term sick leave and no replacement has been made for her. The whole process is too slow hence value for money is slightly lacking
here. Instead one of the nursery staff is filling in for her. Also, slow in getting a pre-school lead in place, and there is no formal lead for toddlers (until she passes her exams). Children need to be prepared accordingly for primary school so a formal reading and writing teacher should be in place. However the tennis and yoga lessons are great, the children love them and trips to the common are always appreciated.

All the staff without exception have been so welcoming and warm, they are very encouraging and caring towards all the babies in the baby room. My little boy is clearly very happy there and has been thriving ever since attending nursery. The nursery has been very flexible regarding days that suit us
as a family too. Would highly recommend!

My son has been at the nursery almost since it was opened doing two or three days a week. The nursery is beautifully equipped and the staff are committed, caring and full of fun. My son has learnt a great deal and I look forward to sending my daughter in due course.

The installations of the nursery are great, with a big outdoor space. The staff is always attentive and nice to the children. Both my children went there, one already left for school, and they were always happy there.

Excellent management and staff, always smiling, always friendly with the parents. They take their duty very seriously and I feel confident to let my little baby with them.

This nursery is a fantastic nursery. They have very good facilities. My child came to visit the nursery in February this year and when he was there Zoolab were in on that day, he loved seeing all the different animals and thoroughly enjoyed his time there.

We have both our kids at Bright Horizons Northcote Rd in London and have had a fabulous experience. The staff is all brilliant though there is more turnover than we'd like. The management team is great, very understanding and accommodating as well as proactive in engaging parents on any issues, events,
changes, etc.


We would like to see more 1:1 sessions with the staff to get progress updates as well as more feedback for preschool around areas that we could focus on at home (numbers/math, writing, spelling, etc).

I am a first-time mum and I don't have family support in the UK. When I had to return to work, I did a lot of research so I could find a place to leave my baby son comfortably. I cannot be happier with my decision! The nursery is clean and tidy with lots of facilities and the personnel is just lovely.
My baby loves going to it and they always provide me with a detailed report where I can see what he has eaten, nappy changes etc and the activities he has done during the day (games, singing songs, learning activities...). I find it difficult to speak through telephone so I prefer email contact, and they are quick in replying to my emails. I would recommend this nursery to everyone! Thanks

The staff are amazing - competent, reliable and kind, and we are very confident in the quality of care that our daughter receives on a daily basis. Dominique has been a proud member of the Bright Horizons family for the past 15 years. She holds a Degree in Education and Leadership, and throughout her journey, she has had the joy of watching countless little ones grow — from curious babies to confident learners, excited and ready to start Reception.


As a mum of three, Dominique truly understands how important it is for children to feel safe, nurtured, and inspired every day. She is passionate about creating warm, engaging environments that spark imagination and support each child’s unique potential.


Dominique firmly believes that the early years are the foundation for everything to come. She is dedicated to making learning meaningful, magical — and most of all, fun — for our future leaders!

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Natalie has worked for Bright Horizons for over 15 years and holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years. She has supported children and families from all different backgrounds and believes it is key to provide a welcoming environment for all parents deciding to choose a nursery setting.


She absolutely loves her job and as Deputy Manager enjoys supporting her team to meet the needs of the children and families in their care. She loves all aspects of Early Years, from the outdoors to messy play, and supports children in exploring the world around.
