Bright Horizons Northcote Road Day Nursery and Preschool

Our daughter has been extremely happy at the nursery and is very fond of the kind staff. It's a great nursery that we would recommend.

Great nursery. Wonderful staff who are very attentive and caring. Our son loves going to nursery.

My only area for improvement would be the educational/learning focus. He is very young but we would appreciate more feedback on how he is playing and developing as well as how we can support the activities around building/puzzles/hand-eye/new words.

In addition, the perception is that there isn’t enough educational/learning emphasis on getting children ready for school beyond two.

Since my daughter joined the preschool she has come so far with her writing ability as well as number association. The nursery is welcoming and like to embed good values into the children. They all acknowledge one another - saying good morning and good bye, they are aware to sit and eat their food without being disruptive. It is a very calm environment. My daughter has been to 3 other nurseries since she was 11 months and this one is the best. The children get treated with respect. They learn Spanish once a week and my daughter sings the Spanish songs all week. She really looks forward to the teacher coming. There is also the option to learn piano which is great. Overall, a great place to prepare children for school and I am so impressed with the way in which my child has learnt so much so quickly.

Our son attends Bright Horizons Northcote and we could not be happier with the care and attention he receives. He is happy here from the dedicated and hard work of the committed staff. The nursery also balances the developmental and learning progression of my son very well. Excellent nursery in my opinion.

It is expensive but is in line with other nurseries in the area.

The staff are all really attentive and caring. They made my son feel welcome and comfortable. What with going back to work, I felt less stressed knowing my son was being looked after well.

My son loves being in the nursery and I believe this tells everything. I feel they really care about him, they love him, they teach him, they entertain him. Everyone in the nursery calls him by his name and it makes me feel part of a family. I only have praise and good words for them, and my little one would agree without hesitation. Highly recommended, I'd give you more than excellent if there were the option.

I'm very happy with my child's care at the Bright Horizons Northcote Road Day Nursery. The staff is excellent: always warm, attentive, and professional. The management responds quickly to any concerns. My child loves to go to nursery, and I feel happy knowing that he's so happy there.

Our child really seems to enjoy her time at Bright Horizons. She is the second of our children to attend nursery there. The staff are friendly and the children seem happy. I only wish it was less expensive because if it was, we'd be able to send her more often.

This is a top-notch nursery, with warm and welcoming staff all around. From the front desk to the nursery room caregivers, everyone is genuinely kind, empathetic, friendly and extremely caring towards the children. My son is in the baby room and he loves coming to nursery. His teachers are absolutely wonderful and nurturing. The space is always clean and bright. Things are very organised, details are logged and the meals are carefully planned. This is a very efficient nursery with a warm, kind touch and loads of positive vibes. Would recommend 100%!

We started at the nursery in Jan 2018 and found it extremely satisfying. The staff is really attentive and the pre-school classes are focused on child development. Our little one gets additional activities and Spanish classes on top of usual nursery programmes.

There is a very low staff turnover and mostly full-time staff. This means my daughter knows the staff all very well and vice versa!

It’s always very clean and they have just got some lovely new toys! Before starting nursery, we had difficulties with her daytime naps and eating. However, this was quickly sorted out when she started nursery, it’s lovely to see them all sleeping and eating alongside one another. Above all though, when I pick my daughter up, she seems to be happy and that is the most important thing!

I have two children who attend this nursery. I am extremely satisfied overall with the care at Bright Horizons Northcote Road.

Excellent service, our son loves going to nursery. The nursery keeps us updated on daily activities as well as any concerns.

Our experience can be best summed up by the drop-off. Our daughter smiles as soon as we walk in the door. Every member of staff knows her name and appears equally pleased to see her. I know she is in safe and caring hands when she is there. The staff from the carers to the management are lovely and friendly and welcoming, and each child is treated as an individual.

My son attended through the Emergency Back Up Care that Bright Horizons provides. I am very happy with my son's experience at Northcote Road. The staff were amazing and gave me great feedback. He enjoyed playing outside and doing different activities indoors. I will definitely recommend this nursery to my friends, family and everyone I know.

I am so impressed with the high level of care and attention he receives.

I would not hesitate to recommend Bright Horizons for either a baby or a pre-schooler.

My daughter started attending the nursery in February 2015. She was welcomed by all the staff with open arms and made to feel very special. She loves attending the nursery and really enjoys going out in the garden. If we have any problems the management are very good at sorting out the problems.

My experience at the Bright Horizons Northcote Road Day Nursery was great I am very happy and pleased with all the staff and how they are up to date with the safeguarding, I'm very happy that they make fresh food every day, the staff and management team are very caring and understanding with the days my child does. I am so happy to have my child come to this day nursery.
