The place is always clean and they have a lot of resources at hand for the little ones to enjoy!
The Nursery and its staff are truly exceptional. Throughout every challenge we've faced, whether it was settling in, sickness, or welcoming a new baby. The support we've received has been outstanding. The facilities are top notch, clean, well maintained and welcoming, with spacious outdoor areas that continue to improve. The care and activities provided to our little one on a weekly basis are thoughtful, creative, and full of love. I can only speak in the highest regard for everyone working there. They consistently go above and beyond. We also appreciate how well informed we are about updates and changes, activities and learning they do, which is incredibly important to us. We are so grateful for the wonderful care and attention our child receives at this nursery.
Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are utterly wonderful and she often doesn’t want to come home! We are so glad that we chose Little Pioneers. I truly feel like my little one is in very safe hands there.
This nursery had a recent Ofsted rating of Outstanding and it shows. The staff are lovely and welcoming, my children go in happily and have lots to tell me at the end of the day. We get daily updates and handovers upon collection. The app posts weekly observations with photos and suggestions of things we can do at home to help development. My children have both flourished, making friendships, refining their fine and gross motor skills, developed their language and knowledge covering lots of exciting topics which the children help set. The two outdoor garden spaces are large, and well catered for the different stages of development with lots of toys including slides, sandpit and trikes to play with. The food is great for dietary requirements including veganism which was a big plus point for us. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their child to learn in a safe, fun, thriving environment.
We absolutely love this nursery! Our little one is always so happy when we pick him up and has so much fun. The fact that the nursery is equipped with excellent professionals and good material for playtime surely is the reason for this. We as parents also feel supported, as we all work closely whenever a concern arises with our son. We found that the advice from his key person has been really invaluable.
What a fantastic nursery! The facilities are top notch and the staff so warm and welcoming. Everything is taken care of, from nutritious meals to provision of nappies and suncream so all you need to worry about is how much fun your little one is having with the range of activities that are always on the agenda. The outdoor space is also fab and really fun for children to explore. I’d highly recommend this nursery.
My son started at this nursery in the ladybird's room in September last year, he is absolutely thriving and it’s such an exciting part of our day checking the app to see what he has been up to each day. The staff are fantastic, all so knowledgeable and easy to chat with. His relationship with his key worker as well as the other adults in his room is so lovely. I’ve loved the stay-and-play days they’ve done where we’ve had the opportunity to join in on activities. I’d definitely recommend it to other parents in the area.
An absolutely wonderful nursery, really can’t praise it highly enough. The staff show a genuine care of the children and oversee a wide range of fun and educational activities every day. The communication is second to none, not only on a day-to-day level (food, naps etc.), but also on a wider level from nursery management. Both my daughters have attended full-time and always go in with a big smile on their faces and come home full of stories about all the brilliant things they’ve got up to. They couldn’t be happier. The food is fantastic too.
Not a bad word to say about the nursery, my son is always having the time of his life when I come to collect him. The staff are so welcoming and lovely and my son's communication and knowledge get better every time he comes home, highly recommend!
Great nursery, all the staff are lovely and helpful. My little boy loves it here especially as the nursery has a great outdoor space and when they can’t go outdoors they bring the outdoors inside with fun activities. My son has grown so much as a little person since being here. Thank you all!
Co-op Sussex is an excellent nursery with dedicated staff and great facilities. Our children have been very happy here. There is much to commend it: a varied menu that can be tailored to a child’s needs, clean and spacious rooms, and outdoor play areas with a range of activities. The management is quick to respond to any inquiries.
We are extremely happy and impressed with the Co-op Childcare Sussex Nursery. The staff are extremely kind and caring, very responsive and supportive, and clearly take great pride in providing the best possible experience to the children in their care. The food options are fresh and very desirable for the children whilst remaining healthy and nutritious. The feedback from all staff members is prompt and supportive, and they are really encouraging for us as first-time parents. We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare.
Would recommend this nursery to friends and family, have always felt very welcomed by the staff. The environment feels safe and great communication with the room staff members. My son has always been happy to go to nursery and can’t wait to hear about his next adventures!
I’ve had some bad experiences with nurseries in the past for my older child, however, our Co-op nursery has been absolutely fantastic in every sense of the word. The staff have built a genuine connection with my son and appreciate him for all of his cheeky and charming ways. They’ve helped him in so many ways socially and cognitively. I love that they don’t have any screens so there’s no leaving children watching cartoons, every activity is engaging and developmentally appropriate. I also love that they try to limit plastic toys and follow a Montessori approach. The setting of the nursery is incredible with a lovely foyer for parents to sit in and an amazing garden. I’ve always felt heard and supported and that my child’s best interest has always been valued. My child has made amazing memories for a lifetime here and I can’t fault them in the slightest!
I find this to be an excellent nursery which has exceeded my expectations many times. They pay close attention to all the types of individual needs of the children and check in with the parents whenever needed. They have a nice outdoor area with many toys and many activities and resources in the rooms. In the preschool, they have a timetable, and structured learning-through-play activities as well as free play time, and they even start reading and writing. They provide written feedback frequently and verbal feedback daily. The office and room staff are all highly professional, competent and approachable in my experience. It is true that it may be slightly expensive compared to other places, but I think this is because the quality is very high and they provide everything you need such as nappies, food and sun cream. The reviews on this site seem to have improved over time so it seems that in the past few years they have improved the nursery, also in terms of looking after the staff.
A great nursery with fantastic facilities. The staff are great at what they do and genuinely love children! Comparatively the cost is quite high compared to some other nurseries but you really do get what you pay for and I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.
My daughter has been at the nursery since early 2020. Her key persons over the months have all been second to none. You know you are in the right place when your daughter is all smiles every time she enters the nursery and you can see her happily playing and interacting with staff and children when you pick her up. I know here she is in safe hands.
Our eldest son has been at the Co-op Nursery and now Pre-school for the past 3 years, and he has loved his time there. The pandemic has been a tough time for all of us, but the Nursery has battled through, doing their best to keep their services running, and we only had a short time with no childcare, although this was stressful, due to both of us being at work. They kept us up-to-date with developments, and we always felt that our eldest was being well cared for, and was able to forge bonds with other children, and with his key staff members.
It's now been the first few weeks of our one-year-old starting at nursery, and he has settled in really well. He will have missed the interaction with other babies, so it's lovely to see him playing with them. The nursery staff already seem pleased with him, and despite some dietary requirements due to a cows milk protein allergy, he has enjoyed snack time and lunchtime. Spaghetti Bolognese!
My daughter settled brilliantly at this nursery. The staff are wonderful and very experienced. The ethos is very child centred and I love the emphasis on linking nature and sustainability to children's learning. My daughter is really thriving in this setting. Thank you so much!
We couldn’t ask for a better nursery for our daughter, she is so happy there. The attention to every child is brilliant, the smiley welcome every morning, and the focus on each child as an individual are all reasons why we love it so much. It’s clean, the food is great and the staff really tune into the interests of the children and build them into exciting, creative activities. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
