My son has been attending this nursery for six months now and the staff there have been 100% amazing. They really supported him during his settling in, they always have a friendly smile on their face when we enter the room, the GH room which he is in always looks fantastic with age appropriate activities for him to participate in. I am aware that my child can be very emotional but his outstanding key person always makes time to settle him down and makes time to reassure me as a parent.

My son loves coming to his nursery now, he will ask for his key person in the morning and when we get to there will run straight to the doors, into the office where the management team make time to greet myself and my son. My son suffers with medical needs which the nursery have been fantastic with, ensuring it is given to him at the correct time and all the paperwork’s are up to date. I love the fact myself and husband can view his progress from home now that his journal is always up to date online.

The nursery provides an ideal environment for our child. It is a safe, supportive and nurturing environment with wonderful facilities and competent and caring staff allowing my wife and myself to feel confident that our child is well looked after and helped with their development through a diverse range of stimulating activities.

My son has found it a bit difficult getting settled at nursery, his twin sister is completely fine but he is a bit upset to be away from his mum. The nursery staff have been really supportive and I feel that he is being very well cared for and will soon be settled.

I have had an amazing experience with the nursery right from me signing my son up to his time there now. I never felt awkward to ask silly questions or concerned about leaving him with the amazing girls there, I get full updates on his day and progress in learning new skills and developmentally stages. Would highly recommend to others.

A lovely nursery and pre-school. Deserves its recent outstanding Ofsted report. Great, recently refurbished facilities indoors and outside, and attentive and communicative staff and management. Have had our son there from 2.5 (intend to keep him there till he starts primary at 4.5) and would thoroughly recommend to other parents.

The nursery have been so great at settling my one year old. She is so happy there! Always greeted with a smile. Thank you.

My child is happy here and the outdoor space is great, the only downside is the inflexible timing and having to pay for bank holidays.

Fantastic setting - amazing outdoor space which the children use all year round.

Nappies etc and meals are all provided which takes the stress away for busy parents. My daughter has dietary requirements and it seems no issue whatsoever as all the food is prepared fresh onsite. Also, the hours being from 7.30-6.30 is fantastic. The nursery is purpose built and is always immaculately clean.

My daughter loves going, always has a lot to say about all the fun activities she has done each day. She also loves the fact the nursery has two rabbits and lots of IT equipment.

A lovely nursery with lovely facilities and great meals prepared fresh every day. My son has settled in extremely well and comes home happy and exhausted every day he goes.

Me and my wife started looking for nurseries for our 10 month old son back in September 2017. The main attraction for us is that the building is purpose built therefore not a converted house with seems to be all the range in Brighton and Hove these days. We arranged a consultation visit with the co-op and the process was very simple and reassuring with initial contact prior to our visit as well as completion of security checks. When attending for the initial consultation I was immediately drawn to how positive the children responded to the day-care staff and my mind was made up from that point. So within the pre-checks to the visit and the first impressions I was aware that the most important things for me were taken care of (security, easy-communication and happy children) this was all I required to place my son here and I would recommend it to everyone!

This is a fantastic nursery with lovely modern facilities and an exciting outdoor area for the children to play in. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Children are served fresh and varied meals that are prepared on site. They engage the children in a wide variety of interesting activities. My son loves it here.

Staff were generally good but management appalling, indicated by a number of staff and parents choosing to leave nursery at this time. No qualified teacher in pre-school for a long period and no learning outcomes.

My child has settled in so well in this nursery. The expertise, professionalism and caring nature of the staff in the ladybird room is really impressive. I feel very confident that my child is cared for and stimulated and that they always have his needs in mind. The key worker is incredible at her job and I completely trust her and she is well supported by others. They always think of creative ideas to do with the children - from smelling different plants and flowers to doing vegetable planting, singing and stories. I do get an impression that communication between management and staff isn't always ideal, there are times when I think the expertise of the staff isn't respected as it should. But the management team do communicate well with parents and are always on hand to answer queries and concerns.

Lovely facilities, modern, bright and fun, and love, love the rabbits and fish in reception. The staff are very friendly. The nursery has excellent opening hours and it's brilliant that it's open year round.

Our experience was fantastic! My daughter was very happy and always willing to come back. We are not joining the nursery anymore as we moved abroad, but we would be if we would have stayed in Brighton. I totally recommend it.

The staff are amazing - caring, stimulating and fun. The building is state of the art, bboth of my children have been incredibly happy at the Sussex Nursery - they have come out with confidence and a sense of adventure.
