Bright Horizons Sale Day Nursery and Preschool

Honestly I couldn’t be happier with the team at Bright Horizons. My son currently goes and my daughter attended when she was younger. We looked round a whole bunch of nurseries in the area, and this was immediately the one that gave us the ‘you know it when you feel it’ feeling. The staff are incredible, they go above and beyond and both of our children have loved going there. The manager is so lovely too which I think can be quite rare! They don’t have a huge staff turnover which says a lot, our daughter who attended 3 years ago had some of the same key workers as our son who now attends. We also still call on one of them to babysit now and again! I know some people don’t like ‘purpose-built’ nurseries, and prefer a ‘home from home’ setting, but what we found with converted home nurseries was that they were tired, lacked some function and logistically didn’t work even half as well as Bright Horizons. Despite being purpose-built BH has the most warm and welcoming atmosphere, we love it.

Our child started in September 2023. He was one at the time. We’ve been so pleased with the nursery and all the staff. He settled quickly and we’ve had great feedback from the staff about how he’s been doing. It’s also really good to see the processes in place and them being used to keep him safe. He runs in to nursery each day which I think is the best way to describe how he likes it there.

Our children have attended the nursery since August 2020. Staff are welcoming and friendly and all staff know the children well. Our children have always felt happy at nursery and we are supported in potty training/any behavioural issues that might be happening at home. The staff have almost become part of the family and I’ll be very sad when my children finish nursery!

I have had an excellent experience at Bright Horizons Sale Day Nursery. My son started there in January 2022. The staff are friendly and my son's key worker helped him to settle in when he needed to transfer to toddlers and helped with this. They have so many creative activities and communication is good via their app.

Staff always engaging and we have found both children have formed great relationships that has helped with further development.

I currently have two children at the nursery, in the baby room and preschool and I can’t speak highly enough about it. The staff are all incredibly warm, supportive and really love the children. They go above and beyond to think of innovative and engaging activities for the children, support their development, and are always tirelessly kind. My eldest started at the nursery during the pandemic, and because of lockdown she hadn’t been held by anyone but me and my husband for most of her life but the staff were so lovely with her that she settled really well and we felt completely reassured about leaving her.

I couldn't rate this nursery high enough. They have exceptional staff who really do love the children and their job. I have been at a previous nursery where staff turnover was high and the complete opposite is true here. My eldest has also been through the nursery and now 3 years on the same people are looking after my youngest. The food is excellent, they have an outstanding learning environment and are constantly stimulated in educational play/activities. The thing that really stands out is how much they really care for the children. Recently a member of staff who had their coat on and was in reception on her way home noted my son (who is potty training) needed the loo. Without a request or hesitation she dropped her bags, picked him took him. This is indicative of the type of people they have working there. They love the children, they care for them and as a mother it gives you complete comfort and confidence in them.

Our experience at Bright Horizons Sale Day Nursery and Preschool has been really positive. We have been really happy with the level of child care provided by the nursery staff. The building provides a nice, bright and clean environment and there is a good outdoor space. It’s easy to get in touch with admin staff who are always friendly and helpful. The introduction of the app has made a big difference, it’s great to have an update and see photos during the day and also receive messages about things happening at the nursery.

Our daughter enjoys going into nursery. She has made new friends. The staff are lovely and helpful. The staff helped our daughter settle in really well when she first went in during the lockdown and despite the fact we could not go in for a visit due to Covid restrictions, there was a sense of calm that she was in the right place. The environment is clean and lots for children to explore and structured learning. The family app is great, as it lets me check on her during the day.

My son had been to another nursery prior that he didn't settle into. We started him at Bright Horizons Sale Day Nursery in January and he has settled in really well. He is doing better than any of us could have hoped. The staff are great with him and are proactive in meeting his needs. He enjoys going to nursery now and his social skills are really improving compared to how he was before. I'm pleased we made the decision to try Bright Horizons.

My daughter is so happy here. Staff are friendly and supportive, lots of fun activities and educational play opportunities. Fantastic nursery! Would happily recommend Bright Horizons Sale to anyone looking for a local nursery.

We decided to try our daughter in this particular nursery after her previously not taking to 2/3 other nursery’s at all. She took to this place like it was her home, and the staff are utterly amazing. Honestly would recommend this nursery to anyone, especially if your child hasn’t been able to settle elsewhere.

A really lovely nursery!

Lovely teachers and environment! My son loves it! Teachers take good care of him! He started to make friends in the group and it is just so nice to hear him talking about school every day we go pick him up. Definitely recommend it!

Overall excellent experience, my child enjoys coming to nursery, staff and rooms are the best in the area and I feel reassured by the app information and pictures and I’m sure he’s having a great time while I’m at work. I would highly recommended to family and friends!

My daughter has been attending Sale Bright Horizons for over two years now. She really enjoys her days at nursery, she comes home and talks with such enthusiasm about all the fun things she’s done all day. The nursery staff have been extra caring and attentive to my daughter who struggles to walk as well as her peers, making sure that she is able to participate in activities that others may take for granted. I’m thankful for the guidance they give her so she can keep up with her peers. I am always recommending the nursery to people when they enquire about nursery places for their own children. She’s always been well looked after whether it be the baby, toddler or preschool room. The staff are really approachable and friendly and you know they will look after your child.

We have had our two children at the nursery. We are extremely grateful to the staff. Their dedication, support and hard work have allowed our children to enjoy themselves at the nursery and outside of it. They have gone the extra mile in order to make our kids feel valuable.

My little Girl recently joined Bright Horizons and she absolutely loves it! All the staff are friendly and caring and they have clearly built a good relationship with my daughter. I feel comfortable dropping her off and always feel as if she’s in a safe place and in good hands. My daughter's vocabulary and motor skills have developed fabulously since joining the nursery which is wonderful to see. I would be happy to recommend Bright Horizons to anyone who’s looking for a nursery.

The nursery staff are kind, friendly and really great at what they do. Most importantly, my daughter loves her days at nursery and actually runs to get her coat when I mention the word 'nursery'. The activities are varied, the food variety is good, and they communicate regularly and clearly to you about the care of your child. Big thumbs up from us!
