Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley

Both our boys have had a great experience at Hopscotch. Our eldest loves pre school hall and our youngest has settled well in babies. The provision is great for each room and we can see the staff care about the children. We are very happy we chose Hopscotch as our childcare provider.

Our little boy Oliver will soon be moving up from his toddlers group after another fantastic year at Hopscotch. He absolutely loves it there and has grown so fond of all the staff, and of course his key person, Lauren. I love that we receive really sweet updates and pictures about his progress, and they also offer really helpful advice. For example, Lauren was great at giving us tips and encouragement whilst potty training, and after our first weekend at home of introducing the potty to Oliver, all he wanted to do was tell Lauren about it! :-D A huge thank you to all the staff, from a friendly welcome at reception, to a food menu I'm jealous of! I can highly recommend Hopscotch, and often do when chatting to friends and neighbours with kids. Keep up the great work, we appreciate you x

My son Oliver attends hopscotch Botley and absolutely loves it! He's been there not far off two years now and we've had nothing but a positive experience, both for Oliver and myself and my wife. The staff are all amazing and it's a very special place!

Outdoors has such good space for children to play!

We've had such a positive experience with this nursery. The staff are kind, caring and incredibly supportive, and it's been amazing seeing how much progress has been made since attending. They create such a welcoming and safe environment for every child and always keep parents updated. They are especially wonderful with SEN children, showing so much patience, understanding and genuine care. It's so reassuring knowing your child is happy, supported and truly understood while they're there. I couldn't recommend them enough.

My son has attended the nursery now for over 3 years, going through each age group. From the first day he attended I have never had any concerns, he thoroughly enjoys attending his days here. It's a fantastic nursery with brilliant staff. The communication between staff and parents is to a very high standard. I would highly recommend the nursery and I'm sad my son is leaving to move onto primary school.

I can not rate Hopscotch highly enough. The care for my little boy is excellent. I am well informed about him throughout the day and the staff are always so approachable and friendly. It's lovely to see him so happy going into nursery every day- thank you!

My child has the best time at nursery. The staff are all amazing with her. I'm particularly impressed with how personal everyone is when they comment about my child as it is clear they know her really well and have developed a close relationship with her. This is a testament to their hard work considering how many children they work with every day. I love seeing the pictures of my child in nursery, she is always having so much fun and comes home singing all sorts of new songs with dance moves to match. The activities are varied and developmentally appropriate giving ample opportunities for learning, sensory and messy play. It's really important to me that my child spends time outside and the outdoor space is so appealing to my child with the amount of activities she can play with. I also appreciate the variety of food available on the menu ensuring my child has a balanced diet meeting her nutritional needs. She is so content there are no tears when I leave. It's also lovely to see how much she enjoys the wide range of activities. She is clearly developing well and having lots of fun. We couldn't be happier with the care she receives.

Our daughter loves going to nursery at Hopscotch. She started going in November and the team have been so helpful and lovely with helping her settle. She's greeted by her name each morning by reception which I think is a lovely touch and I really like how they're very hot on the safeguarding/access to the building. All in all I would really recommend Hopscotch Botley

My son is in Waddlers currently. The care and attention is second to none. He is so happy to run into nursery each morning he's there, no tears just big smiles. I'm excited for him to continue to grow with Hopscotch. Huge thanks!

We cannot recommend Hopscotch highly enough! They truly put our child's needs first, especially during the transition from the Baby room to Waddlers. The communication was excellent; we were constantly kept informed and introduced to the new team, with settling-in sessions that made the whole move feel seamless. The staff are consistently friendly, caring, and professional.

Lovely setting, all staff friendly and approachable. When my little girl first started, they made the experience relaxing, with updates on how she was settling and never getting annoyed with all my phone calls checking up on her. She is happy going to Hopscotch, and so are we. Thank you Hopscotch Botley, and all the amazing ladies on babies.

Our daughter has been going to Hopscotch Nursery Botley since May 2025 and my wife and I couldn't be happier!

Our daughter is developing so well, and her confidence is definitely shining. A big contribution to that is the work Hopscotch do with her on her days in.

The staff are absolutely incredible from front desk to room assistants and key carers. She has been in different rooms now throughout her time there, and both rooms she has been in have been brilliant! The online app is so well regulated and monitored so we always know what our little girl has been up to which is fantastic. Regular pictures and updates are so welcomed and great for my wife and I to look back on Since she has been here.

We think so highly of this nursery, and have no regrets whatsoever. Would definitely recommend for new parents wanting to find an amazing nursery.

We are so happy we chose Hopscotch Day Nursery for our daughter. She has settled in so well in the baby's room with thanks to her key worker and all the other lovely ladies looking after her. From the beginning, we've had great communication from the point of enquiry, application, settling in sessions to now where we're 6 weeks in. Our daughter is always so happy to see everyone. We love that not only the room staff know her of course, but reception do and have done so since the beginning. They always welcome every child by their name when they walk through. Our daughter seems very content, loves messy play and being in the garden. She's well looked after and stimulated by the different activities, very diverse with food now she's weaning too.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire baby room team - you've made such a positive impact on our son's last few months, and we're so grateful.

So far, I have been very pleased with the progress my daughter has made at the nursery. All the staff are very caring and nurturing. There have been a few times where my daughter has come out with such a crusty nose, but I understand that they are caring for quite a few children. I love that app. Being able to see photos of my daughter's day and updates throughout her time at nursery is great. The only downfall of this app was receiving 2 late fees, trying to make a payment, only to be told later that you can't use the 'payment' icon to pay the nursery fees.

Overall 10/10 and I would definitely recommend Hopscotch to any prospective parent.

We love Hopscotch for our daughter, the staff are lovely and always kind and welcoming. They make a special effort to know what each child 'needs' when they first arrive in the morning, and work well to help them settle for the day. There's such a wide range of activities, and we're forever noticing new things our child is learning that wouldn't be possible without the nursery environment.
