Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley

Fantastic nursery. The staff are great and my little girl is settling really well having had the disruption of moving house and nursery. Everyone has made real efforts to help her and I always feel at ease leaving her. Thank you to everyone but especially the amazing toddler room staff.

Our son started here a few months ago and we are really pleased with how he has settled. We chose this nursery because we liked how welcoming all the staff were. They all welcomed our son, smiled at him and offered him to join in. Every member of staff looked happy and said hello. Above all, all the children looked happy, safe and engaged in all the exciting learning opportunities. We are thrilled to say that this level of care and learning has continued. We love all of the Tapestry comments and pictures and feel the communication is so strong between us and the staff. Staff always comment on anything we upload too and have often shared these photos in the setting to our son to help him feel more settled. We are excited for our little boy's journey to continue here and look forward to seeing all the exciting things he will learn and discover as well as making new friends. A big thank you to all staff for always answering our questions so fully and taking the time to find out more about our little boy.

My son started at Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley in July 2017 and has come on leaps and bounds since being here.

The team are happy and welcoming and always available for a chat if you have any questions or concerns. They complete a number of activities with the children and I enjoy receiving the updates about this on Tapestry.

My son has a food allergy and they have been very accommodating to his needs, I feel reassured that they are looking after him.

Have recommended Hopscotch to a number of my friends in the area as I am very impressed.

My son absolutely loves coming the nursery. The staff are always so welcoming, friendly and professional. The activities that I see him doing on his Tapestry are fantastic. The staff are sensitive to his individual needs when it comes down to settling him to sleep etc. I am so impressed with the healthy menu. Excellent nursery, with thoughtful, kind and caring staff. My toddler loves it and is loved by everyone there. They cover a wide range of activities and tick every box for learning, happiness, food, hygiene, safeguarding and general, all-round excellence.

I cannot say enough positive things about Hopscotch Botley. Both my wife and I were very anxious about our one-year-old boy starting at nursery but he settled in perfectly within a few weeks. The staff were so supportive and understanding of our anxieties. Our little boy loves coming to nursery and smiles as he arrives. He has now moved into the Waddler room and equally loves his time. He goes outside every day which is something that is really important to me. I couldn't be happier about him coming to nursery now.

I can't speak highly enough of Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley. My son has been going since he turned one and is just getting ready to move into the toddler's room. The care and attention given to him in both the babies and waddlers rooms have been exceptional. His walking, talking and all-round skills have all developed since starting and I love hearing about the new things he has been discovering on his days there. The nursery is so welcoming it actually feels like I am dropping him off with family. Which when they are so small is priceless.

Hopscotch Day Nursery Botley has been our chosen nursery provider since our first daughter was 10 months old, back in 2013. Time has flown and she is now in her final year before starting 'big school'! From those first months in the baby room through to Pre-school Hall, we have watched our daughter develop and grow in confidence, learning and exploring through play in safe surroundings with fantastic resources. We know she is ready for her next adventure in September and this is all thanks to the staff, who truly are amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble, experienced, kind and nurturing. So in June last year, we started all over again with our 10-month-old baby boy. The second time around there wasn't any of the apprehensions experienced finding suitable, trustworthy childcare for our precious baby. We knew our baby boy would do nothing but thrive and eight months in he is fully settled and ready to move up to Waddlers in a few months.

My two children are currently at Hopscotch. Both started very young 5m. Leaving such a young child in the care of a non-family member is a very stressful and worrying time as a mother. The staff from reception right through to the staff in each room, are so warm and friendly and made the process much easier than I ever thought possible. Hopscotch is one big family, caring for my family.

My son has attended Hopscotch since he was 9 months old. He enjoys going in and has lots of fun both inside and in their garden. The children's welfare is at the heart of everything they do I have concerns over leaving him there as he is so happy.

I can't begin to explain just how good this nursery is. My little lady goes to bed every night, and wakes up every morning excited to be going to Hopscotch. She transferred from a different nursery where they'd not heard her talk let alone laugh. She does both non stop at Hopscotch, and this is because of the love and care the staff show to her (and all of the other children) she finally feels safe and secure when she's away from me. Once I've dropped her off in the mornings I don't worry about her while I'm at work because I know 100% that the staff will always act in her best interest.

My daughter has been at Hopscotch since she was 10 months old and is due to go to school in September. They have made returning to work a much easier experience knowing how well she has always been looked after and how happy she always is.

I am so pleased to have found this nursery, the staff are all lovely and make everyone feel welcome. They have a genuine interest in the children and know all of them, so the children feel very relaxed and safe. The food is excellent and always generous portions! Both my children have attended and my son is still there until August; both love it and I feel have grown in confidence and have positively developed as a direct impact of Hopscotch nursery. I would thoroughly recommend.

Friendly and caring nursery. My son attended from 10months to 3.5 years; passing through babies, waddles, toddlers and pre-school. I was really happy with Hopscotch and felt the staff really cared for my son.

My little girl has attended this nursery since she was 18 months old. She's due to start school in September and we will be so sad to leave! Her experience and development has been amazing. The staff have been a massive support to her learning, she is constantly learning and having fun. Having been in my sole care they were great at transitioning her to a different environment. Personally I've found the staff exceptional, they really care about the children and their development. They definitely deserve the Ofsted outstanding award.
