Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee on Solent is a purpose-built facility, with a spacious interior and approach that is child-centred.

Professionals ensure that children enjoy and achieve in all areas of learning. The outdoor environments are welcoming and engaging and offer ample opportunities for children to express their independence and creative skills.

The layout of the nursery allows for total free flow from indoor to outdoor areas with each of the playrooms having direct access to outdoor play areas. This allows the dedicated childcare team to follow and enhance children’s own interests and means that children are engaged in their play and learning.

I must say I am very impressed by Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent.
All the workers are lovely and helpful.
The organisation is amazing,
I really love the app and the little updates of what our little ones are doing and also what they've eaten, and it's a brilliant idea that they have an allergy
table and a quiet room.

We are very recent with our daughter joining the Lee-on-Solent branch for Hopscotch, however we have been extremely satisfied from the first contact we made with them in early April. Our little one is ten months old and although she is quite a friendly and charming little one, she’s even brighter and
full of character since starting here. All the staff are pleasant to deal with as soon as you enter the building or even over the phone/email. It is such a relief to know that our daughter is in the best care. Our key person goes above and beyond with her every time and it is very clear the staff are committed to providing the best care all round, which is the most important to us parents. Watching her from home/work via the app is fantastic. We are looking forward to continuing our daughter's child care with you and we would highly recommend. Thank you!

The staff here have been absolutely amazing with my son, who was once so shy (thanks Covid!) that even going into a playpark with 1 person in was a struggle for him. They’ve given him nothing but understanding and patience and he’s blossomed into a much more confident little boy! They care so much about
his development and they have a good healthy variety of food! My son has bonded so well with his key worker thanks to all the work she’s put in, and he’s forming bonds with other staff members too now which has been so lovely to see. Management gets to know the kids too and are clearly invested in their development, and get excited for all their little wins too. Bringing my son to Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent was the best thing I ever did for him. I love the use of the app and being able to see what he gets up to! Thank you so much!

My son has really flourished since joining Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent. All the staff are simply wonderful. They are approachable, friendly, warm and genuinely have the children's best interests at heart.
The nursery is clean, with health and safety being a top priority. Activities are done
with plenty of gusto and there is a balanced demographic of staff which provides a great culture within the nursery. I can’t rave about it enough.

Hopscotch Nursery was the best choice for our little ones aged, 4 and 1. Our boys are very happy, content and settled easily in their clean, safe environment, thanks to a nurturing, caring staff that goes above and beyond to contribute daily to their development. After a previous negative experience
with another nursery for our firstborn, we now have peace of mind for our toddler and preschooler. The level of communication is outstanding and the generous information about how children spent their day makes us feel that we are not missing out on their progress. We could not be happier with how our little one has settled in. My daughter started with Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent in September. Being a baby that had had limited social opportunities due to the Covid-19 times, I was really worried about how she would adapt to nursery life as I had never had to put any of my other children into nursery so young due to
working hours, where it was not needed. From her first day in the baby room, all the staff went above and beyond to help her settle into her new nursery routine. The feedback on handovers was very detailed and the care diary information is great, especially on occasions when I didn’t attend pick up. I feel that the management team are always approachable for support and advice. I would highly recommend Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent to my friends as I feel the big step of putting my child into nursery so that I could work, was made easier with the support of all the staff within the setting. Hopscotch have really helped my son with his development over the years he’s been there. He has come on in leaps and bounds and loves going to nursery each day. They supported my son with his speech as it was a concern for a while but it has come on amazingly and the concern is no more. They are also
great with their red plate system for children with allergies (my son being one) and I feel at ease knowing he won’t be given something with what he’s allergic too.

All members of staff are friendly, caring, have gone above and beyond and nothing ever seems too much to ask.
We receive daily updates via an app about her day, including her care diary and daily
handovers when we pick up.

Our little one is relatively new to Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent and already we feel very welcomed as part of the nursery. The members of staff are brilliant. They keep you really informed of how your little one is doing with daily handovers on pick up as well as regular updates on the app with
comments and pictures as well as a detailed care dairy daily. The girls who care for the children in each room are brilliant, and our child has already formed wonderful bonds with them and will regularly mention staff names when telling us about great bits of his day. We had so many nerves as parents about how our little one would fit in and cope with nursery life and already within a matter of weeks, little one is forming friendships and has gone from very upset drop-offs to now walking in and wanting to stay. He has already been on his first outing and loved it. The food is fantastic and there is a huge variety of toys. The staff do plenty of educational activities with the kids. We couldn’t ask for more.

Hopscotch have provided a safe and enjoyable space for both of my children to develop. My eldest a pre-schooler who loves the atmosphere and activities on offer but does sometimes miss more outside space than he had in a previous setting. Hopscotch made the transition easy and are very communicative
about development and achievements. My youngest started in the baby room and has settled in well with next to no issues, he enjoys being dropped off and the setting has been instrumental in helping him develop his social skills.

January 2022 - April 2022. A huge improvement in my experience with hopscotch.
More parent app updates received handover focusing on the activities they have been engaging with that day and the reinstatement of out of preschool trips which have been thoroughly enjoyed by the children.

An amazing space for the children to grow, with such lovely, friendly staff. My 2-year-old loves being at nursery and has different activities to do every day. Placing a child in full-time nursery can be quite daunting but the staff really get involved to know her as an individual.

More recently the communication with the nursery has been much better, a very responsible and approachable management team and much more updates via the app too. The last month has been challenging with potty training my son, but all the members of staff have been so reassuring and encouraging, keeping

The difference in Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent since the manager has been in charge, along with the deputy, has been enormous. Prior to January, we would not have enrolled our new born son into Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent. Over the last term our views have changed completely and we have

Both my two boys have loved attending Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent. My firstborn attended some 7-years ago and the staff really helped identify and support him with his Special Educational Needs, so it was my first choice when deciding where to send my second born. He's been attending since he
was one and has loved every minute. He comes home full of tales about the fun he's had with his friends and often asks to visit pre-school on the days he doesn't attend. I have full confidence in the staff and management at Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent and the care they provided my children has been exceptional.

I joined Hopscotch in 2007 while studying at college. I very quickly found my own beliefs fell in line with Hopscotch’s ethos and began my journey as a Nursery practitioner in our Titchfield setting. After some time away travelling, I came back to Hopscotch. For 5 years I was based at our biggest setting in Botley as the Deputy Manager and gained my Level 5 in Leadership and Management in the Early Years.


I work closely alongside my Deputy Managers, Aimee Lewis and Maddie Stevens, together we share the same goals of delivering the highest quality of childcare. We know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your child on the first day and my team and I will work closely with you to help that first day back at work run as smoothly as possible!
