Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent

Couldn’t be happier with how the nursery have looked after our little one since joining from one year old. All staff are so friendly and have a lovely bond with the children. Communication is great and can see that the children are well looked after and cared for. Children get the opportunity to go out into the community, have good food and take part in lots of different activities.

My daughter loves coming to Hopscotch and has formed a lovely bond with the girls in the room. They have a home from home approach which helps settling in as a baby. She is so content we don’t think twice about extending her day when needed. They have a lovely size baby room with a range of different toys.

The staff at nursery are all so caring and attentive and my daughter loves it there! Activities are varied and enriching and communication is clear between parent and staff and overall I would highly recommend it.

My daughter started Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent earlier this year and we could not be more pleased with how everything has been since joining. The staff are so friendly and she absolutely loves her time there. Communication is brilliant and we love all the updates we are able to easily see of her time there. I have always heard great things about the nursery in the local community and I can safely say I am now one of the mums who rave about the nursery to others.

My son has been going to Hopscotch Nursery since he was six months old. He’s now off to school in September. I can’t fault the nursery. They actually treat the children like they’re their own. They are kept so busy and fed delicious food, always come home happy and tired (shame) and the staff are very communicative. I’ve dropped my son off crying a few times and my phone rings ten mins later to say ‘he’s fine now’. Not all nurseries go the extra mile. These staff do.

Hopscotch Nursery has made returning to work very easy on me! I get plenty of updates and know my daughter is being well looked after! The staff at Hopscotch are very attentive and caring, I was expecting some tears when I first left my daughter. Instead, I'm lucky if I get a wave goodbye, by the time I'm saying goodbye she is off playing. She is very happy and content here and I can't ask for much more!

Any communication I have made with management, or team members has been friendly, professional and diligent.

We are very recent with our daughter joining the Lee-on-Solent branch for Hopscotch, however we have been extremely satisfied from the first contact we made with them in early April. Our little one is ten months old and although she is quite a friendly and charming little one, she’s even brighter and full of character since starting here. All the staff are pleasant to deal with as soon as you enter the building or even over the phone/email. It is such a relief to know that our daughter is in the best care. Our key person goes above and beyond with her every time and it is very clear the staff are committed to providing the best care all round, which is the most important to us parents. Watching her from home/work via the app is fantastic. We are looking forward to continuing our daughter's child care with you and we would highly recommend. Thank you!

The staff here have been absolutely amazing with my son, who was once so shy (thanks Covid!) that even going into a playpark with 1 person in was a struggle for him. They’ve given him nothing but understanding and patience and he’s blossomed into a much more confident little boy! They care so much about his development and they have a good healthy variety of food! My son has bonded so well with his key worker thanks to all the work she’s put in, and he’s forming bonds with other staff members too now which has been so lovely to see. Management gets to know the kids too and are clearly invested in their development, and get excited for all their little wins too. Bringing my son to Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent was the best thing I ever did for him. I love the use of the app and being able to see what he gets up to! Thank you so much!

The nursery is clean, with health and safety being a top priority. Activities are done with plenty of gusto and there is a balanced demographic of staff which provides a great culture within the nursery. I can’t rave about it enough.

Hopscotch Nursery was the best choice for our little ones aged, 4 and 1. Our boys are very happy, content and settled easily in their clean, safe environment, thanks to a nurturing, caring staff that goes above and beyond to contribute daily to their development. After a previous negative experience with another nursery for our firstborn, we now have peace of mind for our toddler and preschooler. The level of communication is outstanding and the generous information about how children spent their day makes us feel that we are not missing out on their progress. We could not be happier with how our little one has settled in. The staff all put so much effort and care into getting to know him and making sure he was happy, it has been a very positive experience for us. Communication is great at handovers and the pictures are always brilliant for reassurance. He absolutely loves being at nursery which makes us happy parents.

Being a baby that had had limited social opportunities due to the Covid-19 times, I was really worried about how she would adapt to nursery life as I had never had to put any of my other children into nursery so young due to working hours, where it was not needed. From her first day in the baby room, all the staff went above and beyond to help her settle into her new nursery routine. The feedback on handovers was very detailed and the care diary information is great, especially on occasions when I didn’t attend pick up. I feel that the management team are always approachable for support and advice. I would highly recommend Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent to my friends as I feel the big step of putting my child into nursery so that I could work, was made easier with the support of all the staff within the setting. Hopscotch have really helped my son with his development over the years he’s been there. He has come on in leaps and bounds and loves going to nursery each day. They supported my son with his speech as it was a concern for a while but it has come on amazingly and the concern is no more. They are also great with their red plate system for children with allergies (my son being one) and I feel at ease knowing he won’t be given something with what he’s allergic too.

We receive daily updates via an app about her day, including her care diary and daily handovers when we pick up.

My daughter loves going to nursery, she has such fun. She learning new skills and soical interaction with others. The staff are friendly, welcoming and have my daughter's best interests. I hope over the years she will continue to enjoy her time at Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent.

My child has loved every minute of her time at Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent and I have felt confident for every minute of that time that she was safe, supported and well-taught by the lovely and caring staff.

Our little one is relatively new to Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent and already we feel very welcomed as part of the nursery. The members of staff are brilliant. They keep you really informed of how your little one is doing with daily handovers on pick up as well as regular updates on the app with comments and pictures as well as a detailed care dairy daily. The girls who care for the children in each room are brilliant, and our child has already formed wonderful bonds with them and will regularly mention staff names when telling us about great bits of his day. We had so many nerves as parents about how our little one would fit in and cope with nursery life and already within a matter of weeks, little one is forming friendships and has gone from very upset drop-offs to now walking in and wanting to stay. He has already been on his first outing and loved it. The food is fantastic and there is a huge variety of toys. The staff do plenty of educational activities with the kids. We couldn’t ask for more.

The nursery staff have always been kind and friendly. They are professional and the management staff know all the children by name too which is lovely. I am very happy with the care and nurturing my daughter receives.
