Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent

I love this nursery!! Having recently moved to the area and returned to work full time I needed to make sure that my little girl would be well looked after. I knew that from having my walk around I wouldn’t be viewing any other nurseries. The staff are amazing and friendly. My daughter attends 3 full days a week and has breakfast lunch and dinner here which is all prepared fresh and she has something different every day which is what I want. She is always so smiley and happy when I collect her. I couldn’t have hoped for a better nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Hopscotch and gets really excited when I drop her off in the morning. She has been through the babies, waddlers and toddlers rooms since starting aged 9 months in September 2016 and each team of staff has been lovely and seem to really care about her. Staff have been very willing to discuss any questions I have about her development and progress during handover times. They provide a good range of foods at meal/snack times and a good range of activities through the day. I really enjoy the Tapestry updates and seeing what she gets up to when she is away from me.

The management team are also really approachable and great at answering any questions, both in person and via email.

The girls in the babies room are welcoming and reassuring every day. They are informative about the day my child has had and although they are always busy, they always have time to listen to me. The environment is of outstanding quality and I'm impressed that it is made to look inviting for the babies arrival. The menu is also of a high standard and my son is always happy with what is offered, especially pudding! The managers are also welcoming and always have time to chat. In my opinion, an outstanding nursery.

All three of my children have and are going to the nursery. I’ve always been satisfied that my children are well looked after and supervised. They always come home smiling and have had a good day.

Staff engage well with my children, rooms are laid out well. Outside space is brilliant. Lots of opportunities for messy play. Good range of meals and snacks provided. Very happy children.

The care they are shown and the nutritious food they are given is second to none. I cannot rate this nursery high enough.

I’ll be very sad when we leave Hopscotch in a few months to start our journey with our local school.

Both my two children have been to Hopscotch for 10 Months and they care for them like they are their own. Both have developed so well, and both are ready for school starting. Would thoroughly recommend.

My son settled in well and most of the staff have been supportive. Issues have been resolved quickly and for the most part, the written recording of activities/incidents have been to a good standard. Management has been very good when dealing with minor issues and my son's key worker is a dream! Most of the pre-school staff engage well with my child and myself during handovers.

My son has been at Hopscotch at Lee on Solent for 6 months. Even though he only goes 2 days a week, he loves it. He has a strong relationship with his key worker and a positive relationship with all the staff. Always greeted with a friendly face when I collect him.

My daughter loves coming to this nursery. The staff are so friendly and have such good relationships with the children. I feel so relaxed that she is safe and happy when I am at work. Her routine has been kept to by the staff and she has had amazing support with her potty training. She also eats better that I do!!! Very much recommended.

Rooms are well set out with lots of different things to engage the children. Staff are all friendly and wonderful with the children. My child loves it there so much he is always asking if it's nursery day.

I have been using Hopscotch Day Nursery Lee-on-Solent for about 4 years for both my children. I have always felt that every member of staff looks after the children like they are their own. My children have always been happy to go and I think they really look forward to it because of all.the different things they get up to. They help in all different ways with behaviour, making new friends, eating different foods etc.

My daughter has attended for 18 months and has really enjoyed making friends and taking part in fun activities. She has had a regular keyworker who has identified her strengths and new goals. All staff are enthusiastic and have taken the time to get to know my child as an individual. My daughter is always smiling when I collect her and she obviously has a close relationship with the staff. I have been very pleased with the care my daughter has received.
