My little boy started here at 10 months old and from the moment he joined, he has loved every minute. The staff are so kind and care so much for the kids. It’s always hard leaving your little one for the first time, but I’ve felt reassured knowing he’s in such good hands.

The whole team here spend time ensuring your little one settles in when they start but also support them as they progress into a new room. My little boy is about the start in the Toddler Room and has already spent some time settling in before his official move next month.

They keep track of his progress and learning milestones and check in with us regularly so we know how he’s getting on.

For me, one of the major plus sides of Bright Horizons is the access the kids have to the outside - my little boy loves this even in the winter!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery and their wonderful staff.

When picking up my grandson, I receive a great feedback on the events of the day as well as a detailed write up of all his sleeps and meals etc. He is settling in well and the staff in his room are all very friendly and helpful. The management team have also been very polite as I drop off and pick up on occasions.

I occasionally pick up my grandson (with the agreement of my son who lets the nursery know). Due to a last minute change of plan the nursery did not know. Before I could pick up my grandson, the receptionist confirmed with my son that it was OK.

I was very pleased with this level of security.

We are very pleased with the nursery. The staff is very warm and lovely to talk to. Our son loves going to the nursery and has learnt a lot here. The nursery provides the opportunity for all round development and he has been participating in music classes, French classes, technology (computer lessons), football etc and enjoys these thoroughly. This nursery promotes overall development.

The staff in pre-school has been amazing. They have really helped my son progress in so many key areas like eating independently, joining circle time for long periods settling with everyone. He is more confident about a lot of things and we are very thankful to everyone who helps him out!!

My son attends Bright Horizons in Reigate 4 days a week.
He has recently moved into preschool 'ready for school' room. The nursery setting provides a safe, caring and nurturing environment where my son has learnt so much.
Under the care of the manager and all of the staff team at the nursery, I know I am leaving my precious son in the very best care.
The happy and creative space enables all children to truly thrive.

Thank you for everything you do.

The setting is clean, bright, colourful and an excellent canvas for learning. Both my children attend and I have seen remarkable progression in their development - and they're happy and enjoy their time at nursery. The nursery has been an outstanding choice of childcare for my children. (Now 6 and 3).
Both boys have made strong friendships with peers and built great relationships with the staff.
Staff are personable, professional, caring, thoughtful and kind. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Both boys blossomed, learnt skills and built their character that will last a lifetime.

My child has been attending Bright Horizons for approximately 20 months (from a baby). I have always been pleased with the care provided, activities run for the children and the food they are provided. I would recommend the nursery to other parents if looking for a place for their child.

I absolutely love the nursery and so does my daughter. We couldn't have asked for more. She's happy to walk in and goes straight off to have breakfast. The ladies in her room are always welcoming and we feel well informed about the nursery and my child's development.

I recently moved so my daughter came from a different Bright Horizons to this one in January. I am extremely happy with my daughter (19 months) being here. Currently, I do not work, however, I chose to continue her contract here as she is so settled and gets so much out of it. She attends one morning per week. The staff are exceptional and the manageress is outstanding in her approach both to the children, parents, staff and the business as a whole. Despite the fees being slightly more than other local nurseries, I'm desperate to keep her here until she attends school in 3 years time.

I have been hugely impressed with every aspect of Bright Horizons - since my first visit but even more so now. Experiencing the wonderful care that my daughter receives and seeing how incredibly happy she is to go in and how gleefully she recounts her activities when she leaves. It is evident that this is an incredibly caring and nurturing environment, full of happy kids and carers and the children are challenged and stimulated to keep mind and body active. Socially and mentally it is a fantastic preparation for school. Thank you to the wonderful staff who seem well incentivised and valued.

Bright Horizons Reigate was our top choice nursery for our son and we are delighted with our decision. He has been there 6 months now and loves it. The staff are all so friendly and caring and show genuine affection for the children. The variety of activities is great and he is always outdoor playing which we love. The food is all cooked on site and freshly prepared. I love the weekly newsletter we receive which keeps us up to date and is really informative. I've recommended the nursery to a friend who has just started and she is really pleased too.

My son attended the Reigate Bright Horizons Nursery for around a year. At first, he was nervous and unsure, given we had just moved to the area and he was previously at a different nursery. The staff and management team were very caring, giving my son all the sensitive support he needed.

In no time he was familiar with all the staff and children, very quickly making friends. He made great progress with academic learning but equally developed important personal life skills.

Every day we had feedback about what he had learnt and what he had been doing. He was more than ready for school when the time came and indeed his teacher confirmed he is well ahead of the average. Some of his nursery friends are at his new school and I hope will continue to be lifelong friends.

I would recommend this nursery as it emphasises development of the whole child, with an emphasis on independence which of course is a very important life skill. This is in no way forced, but happens as part of the everyday activities.

I have been extremely impressed with the quality of care, facilities and activities available to children at Bright Horizons Reigate Day Nursery. My son settled quickly and enjoyed his time here. I looked at a few nurseries but this one was by far the nicest. The lovely big windows and outdoor play area are a big positive. Plus the staff are really lovely, friendly and helpful which gives the nursery a very welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to all we were sad to leave.

My daughter has been going to Bright Horizons in Reigate for the last year and I have noticed a big change in her development since she has been there. Although she is only 18 months old she has become much more confident and is speaking and communicating with us much more. I have also been very impressed with the daily programme that the children follow and I have always found the staff to be friendly, approachable and keen to offer feedback on how her day has gone.

Very well organised nursery, and all the staff are professional and friendly. The facilities here are great, classrooms light, airy, clean and tidy, with a great outdoor area too. Nursery is really important, not just educationally, but also to develop social skills and develop as a person, and there is a healthy balance of play, be it painting, colouring, making things etc, and learning, and I'm very pleased with the progress and development of my children.

Louise Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2014
Louise

Louise is the nursery manager. She has worked in childcare for 30 years, having gained her NNEB qualification in 1985. She started her career as a Nursery Nurse within a small nursery chain and soon realised that she enjoyed the managerial side of childcare, moving into a management role within the company in 1988. In 1990 Louise had the opportunity to join a small independent nursery as Manager and became part of the Teddies group of nurseries in 1997 which in turn joined the Bright Horizons network of nurseries in 2009.

During this time Louise has had two children who enjoyed the benefit of attending her nurseries. She also supported other nursery managers in a training role within the company to share and support good practices. After becoming part of Bright Horizons and having achieved an ‘outstanding’ accreditation from Ofsted at the Bright Horizons in Crawley, Louise decided that the time was right to further her education and attended university alongside her role as Manager, gaining first a Foundation degree and then a full degree and Early Years Teacher Status. As she completed this the opportunity to move to Reigate became available and she joined the team as nursery manager.

Her passion lies in striving for excellence and she is committed to the safeguarding welfare of the children, staff members and families at Reigate. Louise is also a Grandma and in her spare time enjoys visiting the theatre.

Debra Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2019
Debra

I have been working at the nursery since 2014, starting in the baby unit and gradually moving up the ranks to become the room leader, third in charge, and now the deputy manager. I also hold the role of the nursery SENCO, and I have a strong passion for child development in this area. Recently, I completed a Level 3 SENCO course to enhance my knowledge and dedication to this field.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband on our family farm. Meeting up with friends and family is another favourite pastime, and I love to unwind with a good book.

Lauren Job Title: Third in Charge
Lauren

I am the Third in Charge. I have achieved my BA Hons degree in Early Education and have many years of experience supporting preschool children with their transition to school.

I thrive on providing an environment and activities which enable the children to grow and flourish. I have a little boy who is 2 years old and loves being outdoors.

Being a member of the National Trust helps my family and I have some wonderful adventures together exploring natural environments. In my spare time, I also enjoy reading, and during the past year, I found a new interest in baking.
