Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool is situated in a great location for parents who are commuting into London.

Set in a light and airy, purpose-built nursery with six age-appropriate rooms designed for every stage of your child’s development, from 3 months to 5 years, just off the A217 Cockshot Hill, the nursery offers convenient onsite parking and a buggy park to ease your drop-off and pick-up process.

The nursery is purpose built offering six spacious well-resourced rooms and three large gardens each providing a suitable and stimulating environment to extend the development of the Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children. The under three-year-olds also have free flow access to their gardens. They have an additional room adjacent to the preschool unit where they have created a lovely ambience with scented air and soft lighting to provide a unique experience for their children, supporting their wellbeing with sensory resources and experiences. This room also incorporates yoga sessions and the Preschool children have an area where they hold their own ‘Children’s Council’ and ‘Book Club’ sessions.

Children in the nursery are prepared to transition to school through the unique Ready for School Programme which includes a bespoke Growing Readers, Writers, Mathematicians, Scientists and Artists programmes and Candy Floss the Safety Superhero is visible throughout the nursery, helping the children to make safe choices throughout their day.

My 16 month old son has been at this nursery since November and he’s getting on really well there. Although there are the occasional tears at drop off he’s always full of smiles and energy when it’s time to pick him up at the end of the day. The staff take the time to talk through his day and he seems
content in their care. I love watching him exploring his surroundings through the window when collecting him. There’s something lovely about watching him play and interact confidently with others without me or his dad being there. His development has also come in in leaps and bounds since starting. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking to enrol their child.

I have two daughters who attend Bright Horizons Reigate and they couldn't be happier there. We have been at the nursery for 3 years and experienced the love, care and learning provided in all the rooms. The level of care and involvement of the staff is consistent throughout the rooms, we to us points
to the excellent management and leadership of the managers and room leaders. We are very grateful to have such a happy, wonderful environment to send ou girls too.

I cannot recommend Bright Horizons in Reigate highly enough. The staff and management are exceptional, dedicated, caring, trustful and extremely professional. The indoor and outdoor space is clean and bright. My daughter has made remarkable progress in her development and speech, learnt so much, has
been very happy and made strong friendships with peers. The nursery has helped her to blossom and to become confident. Thank you so much for all your hard work, care, fun and education our daughter has received. We will miss Bright Horizons and all the wonderful people there!

A professionally run nursery with lovely staff. My little boy settled in wonderfully due to the care and loveliness of the girls that work there.
The outside space is fabulous, and the range of toys and activities is extensive. Lots to keep the little ones busy and engaged.
Staff are all knowledgeable
and approachable. The main thing is my son is happy to come in each morning he attends, and is never in a rush to leave at pickup time!
Can't recommend the nursery enough.

My daughter has been at the nursery just over a year now and I have been very happy with her care. She has allergies to dairy and egg, which they have been really good at catering for and that has been such a weight off my mind to have that reassurance, as it was sadly not the same experience at the
previous two nurseries she attended before we finally found this little gem.


Her keyworker and room staff are brilliant, I feel really comfortable discussing any concerns with them. The nursery manager is lovely, really helpful and has been great at fitting my daughter in for extra sessions when needed. My daughter is bright so she needs lots of input which I feel she gets here, she also gets to do Little Kickers and Ballet classes which she loves. My daughter is happy and settled, and looking forward to moving up to pre-school when she turns 3. I would recommend Bright Horizons to anyone looking for a day nursery place for their child.

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons, Regiate for 3 years and has absolutely flourished there. The facilities and activities are great and the staff have been amazing, helping her through the loss of a Grandparent and arrival of a new baby.


I feel the nursery has prepared her brilliantly for

school so although she is sad to move on she is also excited to begin the new chapter. I have no reservation in recommending the nursery and am pleased to be settling my son in.

My granddaughter has had a very positive time at this nursery. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The nappies and nappy cream are provided. Babies and toddlers are on the ground floor with each age group having its own garden area. Three-year-olds are on the first floor with a lift available
for those who need it. There is ample parking including five spaces with no parking spaces between then to allow toddlers to be safely got out of the care. I would strongly recommend this nursery.

I love this nursery. My children feel safe and happy here and there are always events and activities to keep them stimulated making it a fun place to learn and develop new skills. The staff are caring and friendly and I feel they're in good hands.
It's great the older children are able to vote for
specific activities. They enjoy the educational visits such as farm animals and the fire brigade. Overall great nursery.

Bright Horizons Reigate has been part of my every day for the last 5 years. My son first went there from the baby room all the way to Pre-school and now my daughter is going through the same process, at the moment she is in the toddlers.
I feel that nursery is my kids second home. They know everybody
and the staff all call my kids by their names, it has a very cosy feeling.
All the rooms have a nice routine and the kids follow that with no problem. Food is excellent and the kids get used to eating healthily.
The building is adapted for kids safety with high door handles, double lock to outdoor and toilet for little people. Little things that I sometimes look and think "Hum. I could do with that at home!".
The management make sure through the year they have different activities and incentive to learn while playing and every week parents get a newsletter with the various activities done that week for the different rooms.
The room staff are great and know the kids really well, even if the child is not their key child.

My little boy started here at 10 months old and from the moment he joined, he has loved every minute. The staff are so kind and care so much for the kids. It’s always hard leaving your little one for the first time, but I’ve felt reassured knowing he’s in such good hands.


The whole team here spend

time ensuring your little one settles in when they start but also support them as they progress into a new room. My little boy is about the start in the Toddler Room and has already spent some time settling in before his official move next month.


They keep track of his progress and learning milestones and check in with us regularly so we know how he’s getting on.


For me, one of the major plus sides of Bright Horizons is the access the kids have to the outside - my little boy loves this even in the winter!


I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery and their wonderful staff.

Louise

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2014

Louise is the nursery manager. She has worked in childcare for 30 years, having gained her NNEB qualification in 1985. She started her career as a Nursery Nurse within a small nursery chain and soon realised that she enjoyed the managerial side of childcare, moving into a management role within the company in 1988. In 1990 Louise had the opportunity to join a small independent nursery as Manager and became part of the Teddies group of nurseries in 1997 which in turn joined the Bright Horizons network of nurseries in 2009.


During this time Louise has had two children who enjoyed the benefit of attending her nurseries. She also supported other nursery managers in a training role within the company to share and support good practices. After becoming part of Bright Horizons and having achieved an ‘outstanding’ accreditation from Ofsted at the Bright Horizons in Crawley, Louise decided that the time was right to further her education and attended university alongside her role as Manager, gaining first a Foundation degree and then a full degree and Early Years Teacher Status. As she completed this the opportunity to move to Reigate became available and she joined the team as nursery manager.


Her passion lies in striving for excellence and she is committed to the safeguarding welfare of the children, staff members and families at Reigate. Louise is also a Grandma and in her spare time enjoys visiting the theatre.

I have been working at the nursery since 2014, starting in the baby unit and gradually moving up the ranks to become the room leader, third in charge, and now the deputy manager. I also hold the role of the nursery SENCO, and I have a strong passion for child development in this area. Recently, I completed a Level 3 SENCO course to enhance my knowledge and dedication to this field.


Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband on our family farm. Meeting up with friends and family is another favourite pastime, and I love to unwind with a good book.

I am the Third in Charge. I have achieved my BA Hons degree in Early Education and have many years of experience supporting preschool children with their transition to school.


I thrive on providing an environment and activities which enable the children to grow and flourish. I have a little boy who is 2 years old and loves being outdoors.


Being a member of the National Trust helps my family and I have some wonderful adventures together exploring natural environments. In my spare time, I also enjoy reading, and during the past year, I found a new interest in baking.
