Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool is situated in a great location for parents who are commuting into London.

Set in a light and airy, purpose-built nursery with six age-appropriate rooms designed for every stage of your child’s development, from 3 months to 5 years, just off the A217 Cockshot Hill, the nursery offers convenient onsite parking and a buggy park to ease your drop-off and pick-up process.

The nursery is purpose built offering six spacious well-resourced rooms and three large gardens each providing a suitable and stimulating environment to extend the development of the Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children. The under three-year-olds also have free flow access to their gardens. They have an additional room adjacent to the preschool unit where they have created a lovely ambience with scented air and soft lighting to provide a unique experience for their children, supporting their wellbeing with sensory resources and experiences. This room also incorporates yoga sessions and the Preschool children have an area where they hold their own ‘Children’s Council’ and ‘Book Club’ sessions.

Children in the nursery are prepared to transition to school through the unique Ready for School Programme which includes a bespoke Growing Readers, Writers, Mathematicians, Scientists and Artists programmes and Candy Floss the Safety Superhero is visible throughout the nursery, helping the children to make safe choices throughout their day.

We have 2 children who attend Bright Horizons Day Nursery in Reigate, in the toddlers room and the pre school room. We recently moved to the area and could not be happier with the care, facilities & staff. As we have relocated this is the 2nd nursery our children have attended and having the reference
point of the 1st nursery we can confidently say that we made the best choice for our children.


The nursery itself is a wonderful space with clean, colourful rooms, a large variety of toys/ activities and 3 lovely outdoor areas. But the most important part of any nursery is the care the children receive, and every member of staff we have encountered at this nursery is kind, friendly and clearly enjoys what they do. The children are challenged, nurtured, given the option to do extra activities (football, dancing) and we feel like both of our children are catered for - with the care they receive tailored to their personal needs. We would highly recommended Bright Horizons Day Nursery.

My son has been coming to the nursery for 3 years and has enjoyed time in the baby room, toddler room and preschool. He is met every morning by both the management and other nursery staff with a warm welcome and is very happy to be left. The nursery staff do a great job of knowing his character and
supporting him with his individual learning needs. I would highly recommend the nursery. Thank you for taking care of my son so well.

This nursery is excellent. The staff are friendly, supportive and extremely professional. I cannot think of one grumble with the nursery, it really does offer you peace of mind that your child is being cared for in a welcoming, nurturing and safe environment in your absence. As well as excellent interaction
with your child's key worker (whom I have found to be a great support over the months) you'll also get to know the other members of staff who care for your child too. My daughter thrives at this nursery and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nursery that goes that extra mile. The array of activities that my daughter does each week is endless and what's more you're always updated via your child's personal diary and through the nursery's weekly newsletter. It's an excellent nursery I'm extremely happy that I chose it for my childcare.

My 2 children both go to Kidsunlimited in Reigate. My daughter is in the toddler room and my son is in pre-school. They both love the setting and get on brilliantly with their key workers, my son even talks about them at home regularly. As they get older there are additional activities for them to do,
such as football and ballet which I think are a lovely addition. The management team are very helpful and responsive. The weekly newsletter is useful to keep on top of dates (parents evening, book days etc) and gives you an insight into what they are doing each day. A lovely nursery which I would recommend.

My son has been going to Kidsunlimited in Reigate since he was 14 months old and he is now 28 months. I had a look at several nurseries in the area and from the minute I got to KU I knew this was the nursery I wanted to send him to. The biggest appeal for me was that because it's purpose built each
room has access to its own part of the garden so when the weather is nice the kids can go out as much as they want. From the settling in sessions to him moving to the toddler room from babies, he has been supported and the transitions have been so smooth. He's been really happy whenever I drop him off and I've seen his confidence grow such much in recent months. He loves his key carers and you can see that all the girls that work there genuinely love kids, which puts your mind at ease. Recently had to consider moving him to a different nursery because of a change of job etc but he is so settled here and I'm so happy with the level of care they provide that moving him was not an option.

Such a lovely nursery which is why both my children have attended here. My eldest has now left for school but still loves coming back to say hi to her key workers. My youngest is in the toddler room and couldn't be happier. The genuine care and love he receives each day gives me such confidence to leave
him knowing that not only his physical and learning needs will be met but also his emotional needs. As his mum this is the most important thing to me.
The outside space is brilliant and being able to give the kids all day free flow through the warmer months is a highlight of the nursery. A lovely nursery, I highly recommend.

My daughters have recently started at Kids Unlimited Reigate and I am so pleased I chose them to care for them. It's clean, tidy, has a real consistency with care for the children and the staff are great. I was worried about leaving both my daughters as it was the first time I'd used a nursery since
they were born. I needn't have been. On the first full day, the girls settled well and I had received a telephone call to update me on their progress. When I arrived to pick them up, they gave me a full summary of how the day had gone and were so calm and communicative with the girls. They have been really patient with the girls and try to adopt them, I recommend this nursery without hesitation.

My son has been coming to this to nursery for 3.5 years since he was 6 months old and has moved up from the baby room to the toddler room and is now in the pre-school room. Originally, my son was going to attend another nursery in the area, but I changed my mind shortly before I was due to start back
at work once I had looked around this nursery and seen all of the fantastic facilities. One of the biggest selling points is that every single room has direct access to it's own outside space. When the weather is decent the children are always in the garden. It's a fantastic nursery with the most dedicated team. Everyone who works here has a genuine passion for working with children, and I have always felt the team care about my son and look after him as well as I would myself.

My toddler has attended this nursery for 2 years, moving from the baby room to pre-school. The standard of care has been outstanding. The KU team have helped my daughter develop into a confident, articulate toddler. There has been stability in her key workers, activities are well structured and I'm
happy with the menus. It feels like a happy place to be. It also has great outdoor space which was superior to other nurseries in the area. Throughout my daughter's time there she has been very happy. Best choice we've made.

My 3 year old son started the nursery in January. As most parents I was apprehensive as to how he would settle in however 2 months down the line he is thoroughly enjoying the nursery and has settled in very well. The manager is always very polite, professional and greets with a friendly smile. My son's
key persons are more friendly and caring towards him than I could have imagined which is why he has settled in so well and equally I am left reassured. But all other staff members from the catering staff to teachers from other classrooms are all friendly. The nursery offers a safe and tidy environment as well as impressing with outstanding Ofsted results which was one of the enticing factors for me personally. The play area is full of various different activities as are the rooms. As a parent I constantly updated regarding changes occurring week by week and also the activities that each of the classrooms partake in. My son has not been here long but so far I am very happy.

Well run nursery with lovely, caring staff who really know the children. A lot of effort has been put into improving the nursery since the change in management a few years ago with lots of opportunities for parents to feed in views. My only area for improvement would be to introduce some new toys in
rooms that children are for more than a few months and perhaps some more varied organised activities.

We've had 2 kids at KU and both have absolutely loved it. Older spent a year in the preschool room and was very well prepped for starting school last September. Younger one has been there since 1 yr old and now in the toddler room developing in leaps and bounce. The nurses are very caring and deal with
each child as an individual in every aspect and management has put in place an excellent framework which includes ever developing resources.

I've been very pleased with the nursery and happy to be using it second time around. I find the staff are very knowledgeable about my staff, even the manager who has to oversee so many kids. My daughter has been attending the nursery for 3 years now and we are extremely happy with all aspects of her care.


When she transitioned up to pre-school a few months earlier than scheduled, the nursery staff did an amazing job at helping her to settle in with her older piers and as a result she

has hugely grown in her own self confidence.


We have recently had a new addition to the family, and again the nursery staff managed this unsettling time amazingly well.


We would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone and have in fact already enrolled our daughter who will start at the end of 2016.

This purpose-built nursery is a great environment for babies all the way through to pre school age children. The staff are warm and committed and do a fantastic job bringing the best out of every child. My own children are very happy and settled here and involved in a variety of different activities

My eldest son has been attending the nursery for almost two years and I'm extremely happy with the level of care provided. The staff are great, extremely attentive and caring and they take real interest in the children and their needs and interests. The range of activities offered are varied and stimulating
as well as good fun. This along with the excellent facilities, great outdoor space and lots of opportunities for the children to participate in additional activities (computer classes, ballet and French lessons to name a few) makes the nursery a welcoming and stimulating environment. My son really enjoys his time there and his development and learning have progressed significantly whilst in their care. My youngest son has also recently joined the nursery and thanks to the great staff in the baby room, he has settled very quickly and is also already enjoying his time there. I'm looking forward to seeing him develop there in the same way as his older brother!

Since putting my daughter into Kidsunlimited Reigate; I must say that the staff within her room and outside her room as been so welcoming to her. Being a new mum and placing my daughter into nursery wasn't the easiest decision but the management team have really be kind and helpful and also supporting.
My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 10 months and soon approaching one; and being at Kidsunlimited as really helped her development. I have developed a close parent partnership both with her room leader, key carer and the other girls in her room. Both manager and deputy manager always ensure that her individual needs are always being met. When collecting her at the end of the day she seems very happy which makes me happy and often when I arrive in the morning to drop her off; she reaches out to the other staff members which is really reassuring. I am also often able to take art work home which is has done and lots of pictures too; which always makes my day.

Louise

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2014

Louise is the nursery manager. She has worked in childcare for 30 years, having gained her NNEB qualification in 1985. She started her career as a Nursery Nurse within a small nursery chain and soon realised that she enjoyed the managerial side of childcare, moving into a management role within the company in 1988. In 1990 Louise had the opportunity to join a small independent nursery as Manager and became part of the Teddies group of nurseries in 1997 which in turn joined the Bright Horizons network of nurseries in 2009.


During this time Louise has had two children who enjoyed the benefit of attending her nurseries. She also supported other nursery managers in a training role within the company to share and support good practices. After becoming part of Bright Horizons and having achieved an ‘outstanding’ accreditation from Ofsted at the Bright Horizons in Crawley, Louise decided that the time was right to further her education and attended university alongside her role as Manager, gaining first a Foundation degree and then a full degree and Early Years Teacher Status. As she completed this the opportunity to move to Reigate became available and she joined the team as nursery manager.


Her passion lies in striving for excellence and she is committed to the safeguarding welfare of the children, staff members and families at Reigate. Louise is also a Grandma and in her spare time enjoys visiting the theatre.

I have been working at the nursery since 2014, starting in the baby unit and gradually moving up the ranks to become the room leader, third in charge, and now the deputy manager. I also hold the role of the nursery SENCO, and I have a strong passion for child development in this area. Recently, I completed a Level 3 SENCO course to enhance my knowledge and dedication to this field.


Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband on our family farm. Meeting up with friends and family is another favourite pastime, and I love to unwind with a good book.

Being a member of the National Trust helps my family and I have some wonderful adventures together exploring natural environments. In my spare time, I also enjoy reading, and during the past year, I found a new interest in baking.
