Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool is situated in a great location for parents who are commuting into London.

Set in a light and airy, purpose-built nursery with six age-appropriate rooms designed for every stage of your child’s development, from 3 months to 5 years, just off the A217 Cockshot Hill, the nursery offers convenient onsite parking and a buggy park to ease your drop-off and pick-up process.

The nursery is purpose built offering six spacious well-resourced rooms and three large gardens each providing a suitable and stimulating environment to extend the development of the Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children. The under three-year-olds also have free flow access to their gardens. They have an additional room adjacent to the preschool unit where they have created a lovely ambience with scented air and soft lighting to provide a unique experience for their children, supporting their wellbeing with sensory resources and experiences. This room also incorporates yoga sessions and the Preschool children have an area where they hold their own ‘Children’s Council’ and ‘Book Club’ sessions.

Children in the nursery are prepared to transition to school through the unique Ready for School Programme which includes a bespoke Growing Readers, Writers, Mathematicians, Scientists and Artists programmes and Candy Floss the Safety Superhero is visible throughout the nursery, helping the children to make safe choices throughout their day.

The nursery is fantastic for my daughter! The staff really make it what it is, a calm, welcoming and caring environment.
Staff are always so polite, friendly and accommodating and it's clear they enjoy the work that they do,
The management at the nursery is also excellent and the nursery is very well-run.

My daughter started in the baby room in October 2023. Prior to attending, she had spent every day with me so I was concerned about how she and I would manage with the separation anxiety. The staff ensured that they gained all necessary information from me about her, likes, dislikes, current skills,
preferred communication styles such as makaton etc. The settling-in process was completed with her individual needs prioritised. I was kept up to date with regular photos and encouraged to ring if I had any worries. Fast forward three months and my daughter is flourishing. Her speech has really come on and she is more confident in herself. The staff are extremely caring and loving and I couldn’t ask for more. I feel the staff are invested in all of the children so know my daughter is safe and happy. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Reigate since she was 7 months old and will remain there until starting school next year. She loves nursery!
The team at the nursery are incredible, friendly and passionate about delivering the best care and support to the children. I have always felt
comfortable leaving my daughter in their care, it’s been a pleasure to watch the friendships form.
My daughter is now in preschool, she takes part in yoga, boogie mites, Spanish, writing and countless outdoor games. The nursery makes sure that no day is the same and educates even at a young age through play.
The manager is an experienced manager, who in fact was my nursery carer 30 years ago, which goes to show you would be leaving your child in the care of a team led by someone with expansive knowledge on childcare, health and safety.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

We feel incredibly grateful that our son has settled in so well at Bright Horizons and that he is so happy, and that is a credit to the staff and leadership there.
After visiting other nurseries, we instantly got a feeling that Bright Horizons was right for our son and we were so right as (even when
he is feeling wobbly) he is always happy to come in each day, and he always cheers up quickly. It’s especially a huge weight off my shoulders to know he is in such great hands each day, with people that know him so well. The nursery staff always reassure us and their communication is brilliant: the time they spend on this really matters so much to parents.
The staff really are special, and this is reflected in how happy all of the children are. It’s wonderful to see the enthusiasm they all have, as well as the relationships they clearly develop with the children.
As a teacher, it is also great to see the variety of activities that the children get to do each day.

After being let down last minute by another nursery, Bright Horizons, Reigate stepped in to help and I couldn't be happier. The management team were very helpful and my son settled in straight away. The staff are all fantastic, very knowledgeable, caring and create great bonds with all the children.
My son always happily walks in each morning. He has developed brilliantly over the last year, growing in confidence too and regularly tells me when I pick him up that he had fun at nursery. Really grateful that we were let down elsewhere in the end or we wouldn't have found this place!

Bright Horizons Reigate is a brilliant nursery. The teachers are all dedicated, passionate and kind. They take into account each child's individual needs. Whether it's dietary requirements, nappy requirements or big emotional adjustments at home the team step up to help and support not only my child
but also myself as a parent. All the lessons are fun, interactive and sensory based, allowing the children to explore in their own time and soak up the information being shared. At the end of every nursery day, my daughter hops into the car and asks if she can go back! Additionally, the management team are fantastic and a great support to parents. My child's safety always feels like a priority at the nursery and I feel confident that she will be well cared for when dropping her off in the mornings. The nursery is always clean and organised and clearly has incredible food as my daughter only really eats when she's at nursery. We are so thankful to be part of the Bright Horizons Reigate family!

My oldest son attended the nursery for 2 years, before leaving in September for reception. He absolutely loved the nursery and was always happy and excited in the mornings when going in. The staff were always very welcoming, caring and passionate about the care they provide for the children through
everyday activities and always ensured children were settled and happy. Management were very thorough, professional and always responded to emails in a timely manner. My youngest son now attends the nursery and again the staff are always very kind and welcoming especially with settling him in. It didn't take him long and this is down to the staff being very caring, reassuring and making him feel welcome. 100% recommend!

My daughter has absolutely loved her time in preschool. From the first day, she was treated with such kindness and the team took the time to get to know her, her likes and dislikes and make her feel at ease. On her second day, she ran in smiling and shouting, "bye mummy". The team plan fantastic, fun,
learning activities and keep parents updated with photos via the app, which is always lovely to see. The food goes down really well with my daughter too. The facilities are well-kept, clean and there are great toys and activities for the kids. My daughter always has so much to tell me when she comes home. On the admin side, the management team are very responsive and helpful, always able and happy to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend Bright Horizons, Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool. Since my son has come to the nursery from June 2022. I have been extremely impressed by all members of staff at Bright Horizons. They are all very caring and loving women who know my son inside out. The management are very responsive to emails and are wonderful at offering advice. As far as nurseries
go, this nursery feels like a home away from home. The baby room is large with lots of toys and things to keep babies entertained. The outdoor space is beautiful and sheltered. My son is offered a range of varied food throughout the day and I love the app so I can keep track of what he has eaten as well as look at photos that have been taken throughout the day. Overall, I'd highly recommend this beautiful nursery to anyone. The staff are friendly and wonderful lovely ladies that truly care for my son.

My daughter is very happy at nursery. She has a great connection and relationship with her carers and I can tell they are very fond of her, which helps me when I drop her off. I love this nursery. My baby boy joined a couple of months ago and is now 11-months. I’ve been blown away by the staff. I was always impressed by the facilities but it’s the staff that has made me choose this nursery over others. They are so kind and patient with my son and seem really invested in him.
They always take their time with you as the parent to ensure they know what they need to when you drop your baby off and give you a thorough update when you pick them up. I’ve found this so heartening, it’s just lovely to build a strong rapport with those looking after your children. I’m also so impressed with the activities they run, the meals they give and also the app that they update with information and photos very regularly so you can see your child thrive. My son is so happy here and I can’t recommend it enough.

Our daughter has been attending Bright Horizons, Reigate for two months now. Coming from another nursery that she loved, we were a bit worried that she may find the transition difficult. However, she adjusted to the new pre-school environment immediately and tells us weekly that she "loves her new
nursery, it has different rooms to play in, lots of activities and the chef cooks lovely food". We already feel that she is being prepared for the transition to reception.
From the very start, we have been impressed with the management of the nursery. Enrolment was easy and there were no hiccups when it came to transferring the free hours funding from our previous nursery. They are well organised and communication is great with weekly emails, daily when necessary and daily updates on the app, so you can see not only what activities your child has been doing, but also what they have eaten. All the staff are friendly and caring and the facilities are excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

The nursery is great. The staff genuinely care and have gone above and beyond to help, reassure me and ensure that my child was settling in. The app and getting regular updates on my daughter's day is incredible and has made the process of going back to work so much easier for me. My daughter took a

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2014

Louise is the nursery manager. She has worked in childcare for 30 years, having gained her NNEB qualification in 1985. She started her career as a Nursery Nurse within a small nursery chain and soon realised that she enjoyed the managerial side of childcare, moving into a management role within the company in 1988. In 1990 Louise had the opportunity to join a small independent nursery as Manager and became part of the Teddies group of nurseries in 1997 which in turn joined the Bright Horizons network of nurseries in 2009.


During this time Louise has had two children who enjoyed the benefit of attending her nurseries. She also supported other nursery managers in a training role within the company to share and support good practices. After becoming part of Bright Horizons and having achieved an ‘outstanding’ accreditation from Ofsted at the Bright Horizons in Crawley, Louise decided that the time was right to further her education and attended university alongside her role as Manager, gaining first a Foundation degree and then a full degree and Early Years Teacher Status. As she completed this the opportunity to move to Reigate became available and she joined the team as nursery manager.


Her passion lies in striving for excellence and she is committed to the safeguarding welfare of the children, staff members and families at Reigate. Louise is also a Grandma and in her spare time enjoys visiting the theatre.

I have been working at the nursery since 2014, starting in the baby unit and gradually moving up the ranks to become the room leader, third in charge, and now the deputy manager. I also hold the role of the nursery SENCO, and I have a strong passion for child development in this area. Recently, I completed a Level 3 SENCO course to enhance my knowledge and dedication to this field.


Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband on our family farm. Meeting up with friends and family is another favourite pastime, and I love to unwind with a good book.

I am the Third in Charge. I have achieved my BA Hons degree in Early Education and have many years of experience supporting preschool children with their transition to school.


I thrive on providing an environment and activities which enable the children to grow and flourish. I have a little boy who is 2 years old and loves being outdoors.


Being a member of the National Trust helps my family and I have some wonderful adventures together exploring natural environments. In my spare time, I also enjoy reading, and during the past year, I found a new interest in baking.
