New Foundations Day Nursery (Bexleyheath)

Excellent nursery. Both my children have attended New Foundations and have been very happy there. Staff are brilliant. It is the best nursery in the area and I recommend it to all of my friends and family.

I also want to commend the nursery for their communication to parents and arranging of Zoom sessions for the children during lockdown.

I picked New Foundations for my son because it is smaller than most nurseries - only 9 or 10 children in each age group (babies/toddlers/preschoolers) and it had a family feel. This was such a good decision because the nursery has been amazing with him! All the staff are kind and caring, no one just going through the motions like the vibe I got from some other nurseries we visited. There are no nasty extra costs (some other nurseries we looked at said things like 'your child can only attend x classes if you pay £ a week') but not New Foundations, everything is included here. I feel they really helped my son develop so many skills like confidence and speech, as well as practical things like how to put on a coat and how to feed himself. He has attended for nearly 2 years and our new baby will be starting next year. Would 100% recommend. All the parents I have spoken to are really happy with New Foundations. Lovely home-cooked meals and they will cater for special dietary needs.

The nursery has helped to nurture my daughters and feed their inquisitive minds; while preparing them for school and life in general.

The care provided to my child is outstanding. The staff are excellent and work incredibly hard. All the activities have given my child an excellent start and is really preparing him for school.

I would 100% recommended this nursery to anyone looking for the best care for their little one. 10/10, amazing!

They have external football, dance and Spanish teachers coming in each week. They home cook healthy food. Their staff are kind, warm and the setting is homely. They have a lovely garden and my son has been so happy the whole time he has been there. From baby room to preschool he has been excited to go in every day.

Two-year-old daughter attends twice a week and she loves it! All the staff seem to know her and she appears to have good relationships with the staff in her room.

Our daughter has been attending NFDN in the baby room for almost 6 months, and we couldn't be happier. It is hard to leave any child in the hands of someone else, but it makes it so much easier to know that she loves going. She happily waves us off each morning which is the best sign that the nursery provides a safe and nurturing place for her - one that is homely, fun and educational. They helped her settle very quickly - I found it more difficult to adjust than my daughter did! She has great affection for the staff and will often mention the names of individual staff members when we are at home. The nursery staff are all very committed, caring, and seem to have a genuine interest in the individual personalities of the children and watching them develop. In terms of management, everyone is extremely approachable, flexible and communication is excellent. Thanks to the whole team for all the care and attention you give - you play a huge part in helping them to grow into little people!

We love how the nursery is family orientated. The staff are exceptional and both our kids love the nursery, it was easy for them to settle in.

My little one loves this nursery and all the staff are great always keeping us informed about his progress and events etc, our little one has come leaps and bounds since joining this nursery, strongly recommend this nursery.

My son has already spent nearly 3 years in this nursery, all staffs are very friendly and professional. Lots of different activities all year round and my son loves to take his nursery work home to show everyone. Fees are more reasonable than few nurseries nearby.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for almost two years and we love it! It has a family and community feel to it. All of the staff know my daughter and she has built great relationships with the carers in both the baby and toddler room.

The nursery makes a great effort to do different types of play and learning activities. My daughter comes home happy, well cared for and well fed each day.

We will be sending our second child there later this year and would highly recommend it.

Both of my Daughters have attended New Foundations over the past 7 years and my youngest still attends. I can't thank the nursery enough for the care and support they have given my Daughters. Both my boys have attended New Foundations Day Nursery (Bexleyheath), my youngest is still there and I couldn't be happier with the care they receive. All the staff are super friendly and really 'know' the children, the food must be good given my son had 2 helpings every day, and on non-nursery days he asks to go there so they must be doing something right!

The nursery always makes sure that an individual child’s needs are met and works with parents to make sure this is done.
