This nursery has been a wonderful place for my toddler. He started at one year old and in the six months he’s been attending he has come home with so many new skills like using cutlery and an expanded vocabulary, and his social skills have come a long way as well - he was very, very shy as a baby but is much more confident around other children. The staff are so sweet and caring with him, and work hard with us to ensure he has a positive experience while there. They track his development in a notebook and include pictures of his activities and play which is really helpful to us. He also doesn’t come home a total mess as they take care to keep the space and children tidy. Really really love this nursery and would recommend to anyone!
The nursery is a very good place for my son to make friends and flourish in his development. I am sure he will settle in school very well after his amazing time in the Preschool room. Thank you to everyone that has made this happen!
My daughter is in the preschool room, she hasn’t been in there very long but she loves it. Her communication skills have developed a significant amount since being in there and from using the Montessori equipment she has become very independent. I’m so happy with what my daughter gets from being here. That’s all thanks to the amazing staff.
The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and always give us updates on what she's been doing when we pick her up.
The food is all home cooked and she has a varied diet which helps us at home too.
Words can't express how grateful I am to the staff for all they've done for her since she started. Can't recommend highly enough!
My daughter loves her time at nursery. She started aged one and settled in quickly, helped hugely by being well cared for and having so much attention and fun toys to play with. She loves her time there and it's great to see her making friends, becoming more independent (self-serve breakfast is a hit!) and learning so much every day. There is always lots going on, the extra activities such as Christmas parties are a lovely touch and regular parents' evenings help to see how their development is coming along. As parents, we couldn't be happier with the choice we made and have referred many other friends to join too.
The nursery has looked after our daughter from 6 months, seen her all the way through the baby room, the 2-3 room and the pre-school room. They have managed each transition really well, discussing everything in advance so that we were happy. They have discussed and managed whatever we may have had concerns out, whether it be separation anxiety, feeding, nappy, medications, potty training etc.
They have tracked her progress, discussing her development at twice yearly parents evenings.
We have never regretted our decision to place our little one at Busy Bee's, we trust the team to look after her welfare and teach her, our daughter loves going to nursery 3 days a week, she has made friends there, with the other kids as much as the carers.
We would and do recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a safe and friendly nursery for their child.
My husband and I were first attracted to the nursery because of the location and the facilities on offer. The opening hours are also perfect to minimise the stress of delayed trains and the all inclusive package certainly makes it easier for the drop offs in the morning. However, it is the dedication of the staff at Busy Bees who have worked hard to help my son adjust and settle at the nursery. Initially, he had a tough couple of weeks, not wanting to eat and being very upset when I dropped him off. It was a very hard time for the whole family. However, the staff worked hard to make him feel comfortable and confident. He seems to be thriving there now and is proud to show me his new toys and friends when I go to collect him. This is all down to the attitude of his key worker and the staff at the nursery.
This nursery has supported my twins immensely and due to this, they have thrived. Their language has developed well and they have always treated them as individuals which considering I have identical girls this is fantastic. As a parent, I have always felt welcome at the nursery and have been able to talk to staff about anything to do with their development at both nursery and home and received great advice. Things that work at the nursery have now been incorporated at home and work well so for that I can only thank the staff. Recommend to anyone who wants to have the support for both parent and child, this is the nursery for you.
My son really enjoys the time he spends at The Tunbridge Wells Nursery. He is well cared for and his day is filled with activities to keep him involved and help him to learn. The staff look after him very well and he has formed good relationships with the nannies. The staff are very informative when I collect my son and I feel they relate well to him. My son has taken part in extra music sessions at the nursery and he has received home learning activities to support his learning.

I started studying Childcare in 2008, and at the beginning of my course, I planned to be a primary school teacher. This wasn't until I did my Early Years placement that I realised that this was where my passion belonged. I completed my CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2010 before joining the team where my placement had been. I took my first nursery manager role in 2017, where I completed a level 5 apprenticeship in Business and Management, and I joined Busy Bees in 2022. My passion for ensuring all children receive the best possible start to life is still burning bright, and this extends to my 2 children.
