Busy Bees Tunbridge Wells is a well-established nursery and pre-school just a quick 6-minute walk from High Booms Train Station. With space for 90 children aged 3 months to 5 years, it’s a vibrant, buzzing community full of energy and learning.

At Busy Bees Tunbridge Wells there is an experienced staff team who are ready to support your child and your family by planning a variety of stimulating activities for the children in a safe and caring and nurturing environment. Each child will be assigned a key person who will document your child's development throughout their time at the nursery in their own individual 'learning journey'. This is provided via an online app meaning that this can be constantly accessed by parents and will keep you well informed. The nursery has a lovely garden space for children to explore and learn outdoors every day come rain or shine.

I'm very happy with this nursery. The team are all great with my child. They do a diverse range of activities. They are really responsive if you have special requests. My son loves it there. They're willing to give advice. It's a lovely environment and my son has individual, strong relationships with
multiple members of the team, which is really lovely and reassuring to see.

Our daughter's time at nursery is limited - one day a week. She always comes home having had a good time and we get a sense that she's been well looked after and well fed!
She talks about her friends and the activities and is always happy to get stuck in when we drop her off, sometimes barely getting
a wave over one shoulder as we leave.

My son attends nursery 3.5 days a week and has a great time. He usually is a little upset at drop off and the nursery staff always have the time to settle him and make sure he is happy. He loves playing in the garden and enjoys the friendships he has made.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at Busy Bees!


The large open plan, modern and bright room is full of fun and educational toys situated in different playing areas which is a great way for them to independently choose what they would like to do, from reading the many books to playing in the

‘home and kitchen area’.


My daughter is rather sensitive, so it took her a while to settle in - the nursery staff were very understanding and they welcomed and comforted her. Every day there are activities for the children, from playing in the sand, painting to singing and dancing.

This is the first time I have ever used a full-time nursery and was extremely nervous. However, the proof is in my child. He runs in each morning and seems totally comfortable with the environment and staff. The staff have always been friendly and give me good feedback each day when I collect. I enjoy
this as I can keep aware of what and how much my Son is eating and drinking and how he is progressing.

My daughters face lights up when she sees the staff in the morning (and the staff are happy to see her too!) and it makes it so much easier for me to leave her and go to work. She loves it here and lets out a little shriek of excitement as we get to the gates. She’s also really come on in her development
which is a bonus. Would highly recommend this nursery.

We have two of our four children at the nursery, with our fourth joining in a few months.
Finding Busy Bees was one of the best things to happen since moving to the area a few years ago.
The staff are wonderful. They really care and form lovely relationships with the little ones. You always get a
warm, friendly welcome whenever you come in. It feels very homely, especially for the younger ones.
The garden area is brilliant and a particular favourite of my two. The food is brilliant and I have been shocked to hear of all the different things my children will try while they are there. We had never had any experience with the Montessori method before but I can now say it's been very helpful getting my daughter ready to start big school.


The staff are incredibly supportive of your own choices and parenting methods, for example with potty training. I cannot recommend this nursery higher. I will be very sad the day my youngest leaves for primary school.

I have been incredibly pleased with the care and attention my little girl has had since she started at 7 months. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and I feel very confident leaving her in their care. There is a great range of activities offered and regular emails to keep parents updated.

When our son began nursery, he found it upsetting having us leave him, but the key workers were patient and kind, working with us until he was comfortable and felt secure. There is a fabulous range of facilities available, he has joined in on baking, making, crafting, bug hunts and more! Each of the
staff there know the children really well and you can see how happy and relaxed the children are.


Each month there are a number of different events-for charity, Christmas fair, recycling week-but each marks a chance for the children to do something fun and different whilst having the opportunity to learn and develop. There is plenty for the parents to get involved with too, from parents evenings, forums and different events. The children are encouraged and the nursery is keen to work with the parents, from aspects of development and behaviour. They have a learning journal which you are able to review and take home at any time which the key workers ensure is up to date and full of key observations.

The nursery is perfectly located for us and even though my son only goes 2 days a week he looks forward to going and has made some lovely friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming and any questions/queries are answered promptly. The nursery itself is lovely and there are lots for the children to

My eldest child attended this nursery and I had no qualms about sending my youngest when I went back to work. All the staff are friendly and helpful not only to the children but to parents too. The children are provided with a wide range of activities both inside and outdoors, with lots of attention
on developing the children. There is regular feedback to parents about their children, for both their day-to-day activities and their longer-term development and well being.

I started studying Childcare in 2008, and at the beginning of my course, I planned to be a primary school teacher. This wasn't until I did my Early Years placement that I realised that this was where my passion belonged. I completed my CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2010 before joining the team where my placement had been. I took my first nursery manager role in 2017, where I completed a level 5 apprenticeship in Business and Management, and I joined Busy Bees in 2022. My passion for ensuring all children receive the best possible start to life is still burning bright, and this extends to my 2 children.
