My daughter has been attending for over a year now. She loves it. Has thrived. She has made great friendships. Loves all the nursery staff. Is always polite and pleasant this hasn't changed since going there. Everyone is always smiling. The children are always happy. I would 100% recommend. The building itself may be a bit worn, but the care is second to none. I looked round a few others prior to going and am so glad I chose this nursery. She eats double portions often at nursery. She learns a lot. There is always a balance of learning and fun - allowing children to initiate play which I love. My daughter has grown in confidence being here.

Fantastic nursery, staff are caring and hardworking. They have brilliant resources and really strive to do the best for your child. I feel completely at ease and know my son will be well cared for whilst at nursery.

My child has attend First Steps Nursery since September 2023 since she was 9 months. Her time so far at this nursery has been great. The staff are always supportive, friendly, caring, and enthusiastic. They have an amazing app where parents get updates throughout the day of what my daughter has been up to. This really does reassure you as a parent that your child is safe, happy and content. My daughter enjoys all the food choices provided to her and has improved massively with the use of her fork. The outdoor area is fantastic as well as there sensory room. They really do cater to all children's needs. Could not recommend enough.

Always so warm and friendly when welcoming you into the nursery. My son (9 months old) has been there since he was 6 months old and his face just lights up every time that door opens and he sees the girls. He gets so excited and they all make such a great team looking after him. I wouldn’t take my children anywhere else. My daughter went here as well and she didn’t want to leave. It has just amazing staff and ultimately an amazing nursery. Thank you for all you do.

My daughter started First Steps Nursery in April and I am so pleased I chose to send her to this nursery. The staff are absolutely brilliant, always happy to answer any questions and constantly kept me updated. Even when I was constantly calling to check up on her. It was a very anxious time as my daughter had never been with anyone but me for a whole year but they were so great with her and reassuring to me and put me at ease. In a matter of a few weeks, I can see she has come leaps and bounds and has quickly settled in, she now reaches out to the staff to go to them on drop-offs. There are new activities every day and they have brilliant facilities. The staff went at my pace and even offered extra settling-in sessions. They are very quick at responding and provide so many updates on the app. I can’t thank the staff enough for how loving they have been to my daughter.

We're very happy with First Steps Day Nursery & Pre-School Ltd. My son always has lots of different activities to do and a wide variety of food. There is also a great outside space for him to play outside. The staff are very friendly and caring. My little boy is still trying to get used to going to nursery but when he is there he is very happy and learns so much.

The management also take time to come and have conversations with parents also greeting them at the door to let the children in. This nursery also does an online portal so you can see what your child’s been doing as well as what that have been eating. This is the best nursery I’ve found and forever will chose this nursery in the future.

The staff are amazing, friendly, my son loves to be at nursery. He can do things he loves and the environment is absolutely great. Our boy has been since last year but he has developed so much and he can't wait to be in nursery. The security they have in place is excellent as a parent when he is there I am rest assured he is 100% safe and in good hands thank you so much for enforcing that security check when needed. Because of that happiness he's got we added another day for him and he is absolutely happy. The nursery is very specious which makes it so amazing when it comes to learning, the outdoors, marvellous, and exploring just fab. He can now eat nearly anything that's how good the food is, loads of fruit and veg also we parents get to know the menu of the month in advance. What he has eaten how much etc. They put pictures on every day and a timeline of his day. Thank you everyone at First Steps, you are making his time there so enjoyable.

I cannot compliment First Steps Day Nursery & Pre-School enough for the childcare they offer. From the minute myself and my husband visited we knew it was where we wanted our daughter to attend. The staff were so friendly and the children were all so happy. Our little one has been attending for 4 weeks now and she has developed so much in just a short space of time. The staff are so in tune with her, they know her routine, her likes and dislikes and they know when she just needs a cuddle. When we drop her off we know she is safe, happy and enjoying herself. The staff keep in touch during the day using their app to update us on her sleep, her meals and her nappies. They put pictures on each day of what she has done. The nursery offers a great selection of home cooked food and our little one has eaten such a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables since she has been there. She plays outside and inside and each day has something new to look forward to! Thank you to everyone who is making this journey an enjoyable one for her!

Our 3-year-old has been attending First Steps since he was one in Happy Hedgehogs. We initially had a tour of the nursery and didn't need to look elsewhere; they took time to do two visits (Covid) to ensure both myself and my partner could see the nursery. The facilities are amazing, there are always amazing setups for the children to play with. We've had some struggles with our little man both at nursery and personally, and the staff have always been supportive and great and giving us advice, especially in relation to behaviour. They also ensure they are consistent at nursery with routines we follow at home, which really helps our little man as he can be very emotional at times. The food menu is also brilliant; they cater to our little man who has smaller portions as he doesn't like being over-faced, again a suggestion from them to help support his eating. We can drop him off knowing he'll be well cared for, and we would absolutely recommend it to any parent requiring nursery care.

My son loves attending nursery on his set days which takes the load of a working parent knowing your child is happy. Very friendly staff and they all seem to get involved with the children to ensure its a safe and clean environment. My favourite part is the app as we can see each day photos of my son in nursery, what he has eaten and what activities he has completed in the day. Very impressed!

The guys at First Steps are honestly lovely, my son can be somewhat difficult at times and I worry a lot about him and they have never once made me feel like I'm asking too much! They are patient and polite with a real family feel running throughout the daycare! I absolutely love the app they provide daily updates on your child such as what they have and haven't eaten, photos of them playing, nappy changes a little bit of everything!

I absolutely love this nursery! They work fantastically as a team and my child has bloomed since starting there two months ago, he really enjoys it and never likes to leave. This is by far the best nursery I have ever witnessed and I will choose this nursery for each of my children in the future. They work at a high standard and the nursery itself is clean, safe, very well presented and organised for the development of the young children.

My son has been attending First Steps since January 2022. This has been the third nursery we've sent him to due to the others not being a perfect fit. When my son started he could only say eight clear words at the age of 3, had a severe developmental delay and was still in nappies. In the space of ten months my son is now on track in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the nursery has helped me get speech and language therapy in place, and my son can say clear sentences and have a conversation with me. They've supported me with behaviour management and toilet training and my son is nearly completely out of nappies, something we didn't see being a possibility months ago. I can't thank this nursery enough for all the support, effort and opportunities they've provided for my child.

The staff go over and beyond for each individual child and their needs. I've had personal issues with my eldest who has been attending the nursery since January 2020, and the staff have helped me with the personal issues and their continuing support. Fantastic setting and all the information given to you via pick up on how your child's day has been is amazing. Some days can be challenging but I wouldn't have picked a better nursery setting for my eldest to be in. I'll be sending my youngest next year after her 2nd birthday.

I was looking for more consistent childcare and learning for my son and when I went to visit the nursery, I felt at ease right away, the manager showed me round and allowed me to take it all in. I was amazed by the facilities and space that they have. All the staff are so friendly and it has a family atmosphere and I am really happy that I have chosen First Steps Nursery for my son. My son has been so happy to go in and that makes me so much more confident in him spending his time there!

We have had both our son and daughter in First Steps Day Nursery. Our son is now at school but started at the age of one. I was nervous about putting him into a nursery so young. We looked at four nurseries before visiting First Steps. The staff made us feel very comfortable leaving him in their care and he loved going there from day one. We moved a couple of years ago to a different area and changed nursery as the drive was long. After three months of having our son in the new nursery, we did not feel like our son was looked after in the same caring way and quickly changed back again. We both felt that even with a fairly long drive back and forth it was worth having him at First Steps Nursery. I would recommend first steps nursery to anyone as the staff are caring, and professional and will always communicate with us if any concerns. We have only had really good experience with this nursery.

Both children are with this nursery and we would highly recommend them. They have been really helpful and flexible with work patterns and always make sure they do the best they can to make sure they can meet our requests. Our children are always so happy to go to nursery and are always excited when they see the nursery and the staff. We are always kept up to date with everything that happens at nursery from what they ate to how their day has been. The two years we have been with them so far they have been fantastic!

We know they are always in safe hands and are going to have a great day when we leave them in the morning.

First steps nursery has been a part of my daughter's life since she was 8 months old, she’s now 4 years old, and I’ve always felt happy leaving her there and my daughter is also happy to be going. The manager is lovely and very helpful, and so are all the other staff. The nursery is clean and very welcoming
