Norfolk House Nursery - Norfolk Road

As a parent of a four-year-old girl, I've been genuinely delighted with our experience at this nursery. The outdoor space is one of its greatest strengths - it's spacious, engaging, and encourages children to explore and connect with nature every day. My daughter especially loves the forest school sessions, which have helped her grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence. She always comes home excited to share what she's learned.

The meals are another real positive. They're nutritious, varied, and thoughtfully planned, giving me peace of mind that she's eating well and trying new foods in a supportive environment. It's been wonderful to see her develop healthier habits.

What truly sets this nursery apart is the staff. They are consistently friendly, caring, and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and eager to learn. Their communication with parents is excellent, and it's clear they genuinely care about each child's wellbeing.

The site is always clean and a very good range of foods are given to the children. The range of activities and learning skills are vast and diverse, there is something to suit all. The staff are friendly and always approachable and attentive to every need. Management are fantastic and happy to listen and solve any queries promptly. As a parent I do not feel any nervousness or worry about leaving my child in the care of this nursery. I highly recommend this nursery to all parents wishing to send their children to nursery

Feel like I don't need to say much other than it is totally brilliant! Our daughter is so well looked after, often for very long days thanks to the extended hours and absolutely thrives attending Norfolk House Nursery! The staff go above and beyond, she eats really well there and particularly enjoys the extra activities of ballet, rhythm time and forest school. She often asks for her favourite members of staff at home and is very chatty about what a great day she's had with her friends. You will have no regrets choosing this nursery, we are so pleased we did, it is first class!

We have had a wonderful experience with Norfolk House. My daughter has been there from babies and is now in preschool. The staff are so friendly, they look after her so well and she really enjoys her time there. The nursery is like a small community and it's the passion of the staff that makes it a wonderful place.

My son started at Norfolk House Nursery 2 years ago and it's the best decision we made. He has transitioned from babies to pre-school so well. The team are absolutely brilliant, at every stage, very caring and attentive, always going above and beyond. He loves going to nursery and being involved in the day to day activities, we talk about his day on the way home and he's always so happy about what he did. We are very grateful for such a brilliant team.

Such a fantastic nursery. All of the staff are so friendly. Our son settled in so quickly and has genuinely bonded with his carers. Fabulous outdoor space and we also love the fact they arrange day trips out for the kids. Would definitely recommend!

Norfolk House Nursery is an outstanding provider of care for our daughter (21 months old). Our older daughter also attended from baby room all the way through pre school and both the facilities and staff are first class. The team genuinely care for the children and every time I leave my daughter there, I know she is going to be safe, happy and nurtured by attentive, well trained people. She also eats really well (sometimes better than she does at home!)from a great menu. The activities are brilliant - including baby sensory and ballet through well vetted external providers and the garden and forest school is a massive plus that you don't get at every childcare provider

Great nursery, staff genuinely care and do their best for the children. Staff are great at keeping children busy to support their development with lots of varied activities, including trips, outdoor play etc. The care is centered around the childs' needs which is amazing to see! Thanks NHN!

My son has attended NHN since he was 8 months old and he absolutely loves nursery! All the staff are so caring and loving towards him and they make the nursery feel like home. We appreciate all the staff and nothing is ever too much for them. All the activities are well thought through and the facilities they have are amazing. My son loves the outdoors and their garden has got everything to offer for him including forest school. They make every celebration so special and treat my son like they are own. Would 100% recommend this nursery!

I couldn't be happier with the choice made to send my son to Norfolk House. He joined the nursery last September in the preschool room and the progress he has made in such a short space of time has been amazing to see. From the beginning, the staff have been welcoming, caring and attentive. They have created such a warm and nurturing environment for all children and my son is always excited to go in each day showing how comfortable and content he feels there. The preschool staff do an amazing job balancing both learning and play and I have noticed a huge boost in my son's confidence, independence and communication skills. He always has a new story to share about his friends and constantly refers to his teachers as his bestfriends. Communication with staff has always been good and I love the fact that extra activities such as football and rhythm time are available which my child also enjoys.
