The team at Timperley Day Nursery and Preschool ensures your child develops a life-long love of learning with a bespoke curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently located near Navigation Train/Metro station and Timperley Metro Station, the nursery offers limited funded-only places.

The baby unit features two bright rooms with direct access to the garden. The toddler unit includes a toilet area to support toilet training and offers free-flow garden access.

Preschoolers enjoy spacious rooms with engaging activities to prepare them for school. Preschoolers participate in the Ready for School program, which covers math, reading, writing, and other essential skills taught by a qualified teacher. The Bright Beginnings Curriculum, created by Early Years specialists, enhances children's learning, building on the EYFS framework with diverse activities to help them thrive. Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions, where they learn through music and song.

Parents stay informed through the Bright Horizons Family app. The nursery staff includes SENDCO-qualified professionals and those trained in speech and language support.

Specialist rooms offer activities like music, cooking, yoga, and more. Children can join the Cookery Club, create art in the studio, and use the ICT area and role-play space. The nursery collaborates with Allingham House, a care home, fostering bonds with residents through weekly visits.

I would highly recommend this nursery. Our son absolutely loves going. The staff that work there are a credit to the profession - in particular our son’s key worker. She continues to go above and beyond and has a genuine love for the children she cares for. Thank you!

We have been so pleased we chose Timperley Bright Horizons for our child. She started at 9 months old and has had great continuity with her care, having had two exceptionally caring key workers who have worked hard to bring her out of her shell into a much more confident toddler. The keyworkers have
both gone out of their way to get to know her as an individual, what she likes, dislikes and needs to grow into an independent little girl.
She has dietary requirements which have been met without isolating her.

My daughter has attended Bright Horizons Timperley for the last 9 months. It was awful not being able to go in because of Covid, but despite that, she settled after a couple of wobbly weeks and the nursery did their absolute best to reassure me she was happy. She’s been happily going since that initial
wobble. She’s made good friends and tells me lots of good things about the nursery nurses and things she’s learned, from numbers and letters to science.

My daughter adores pre-school. She runs into nursery every day and is so happy to see the staff. She comes home every day after learning new things. There are loads of opportunities for her. I'll be gutted when she leaves.

My daughter loves coming to Bright Horizons Timperley. She has been made to feel so welcome by the staff. The stay and play sessions helped to get her settled initially and now she loves coming here. She sleeps and eats really well and all the staff seem to love having her. The nursery is bright, spacious
and seems to be full of fun.

Our daughter has been coming to Bright Horizons since she was 9 months old. She's learnt so much since being here and her development has been amazing. She loves her key workers and the other children in the toddler group. There's plenty of choices for her to be creative and get involved in activities
whilst learning at the same time. We'd definitely recommend Bright Horizons.

We are very happy with Timperley nursery. Our daughter has really settled in well. She loves coming into the nursery and has developed well since starting. The staff are so warm and friendly and you can tell they have very close connections to the children. She loves all the girls and regularly talks

With over 25 years in the childcare field, Janette’s career is marked by her unwavering commitment to nurturing and developing young minds.


She holds a Level 4 qualification in Childcare, Learning, and Education, underscoring her dedication to advancing her professional knowledge and skills. Throughout her extensive career, Janette has gained a profound understanding of the early years, shaping her approach to creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can thrive.


Janette's experience and passion make her a cornerstone of the nursery, dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the children and their families.

My love for child care began at the age of 17 when I enrolled on a Cache diploma in child care and education course and began placements working in nursery settings.


After gaining my level 3 qualification I began working in one of the nurseries where I did my placement. I worked there for 10 years, working with all age groups ranging from 0-5 years.


Starting as a level 3 practitioner I soon became a senior practitioner with the responsibility of running the toddler unit and then was promoted to third in charge. During my time at the nursery, I went on to study at university and gained a Foundation Degree in Early Year’s Child Hood Studies. This enabled me to gain even more knowledge to go along with my many years of experience. I am really looking forward to developing my career and the exciting future ahead of me by joining the Bright Horizons Timperley team.
