The team at Timperley Day Nursery and Preschool ensures your child develops a life-long love of learning with a bespoke curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently located near Navigation Train/Metro station and Timperley Metro Station, the nursery offers limited funded-only places.

The baby unit features two bright rooms with direct access to the garden. The toddler unit includes a toilet area to support toilet training and offers free-flow garden access.

Preschoolers enjoy spacious rooms with engaging activities to prepare them for school. Preschoolers participate in the Ready for School program, which covers math, reading, writing, and other essential skills taught by a qualified teacher. The Bright Beginnings Curriculum, created by Early Years specialists, enhances children's learning, building on the EYFS framework with diverse activities to help them thrive. Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions, where they learn through music and song.

Parents stay informed through the Bright Horizons Family app. The nursery staff includes SENDCO-qualified professionals and those trained in speech and language support.

My son really enjoys nursery and the team work hard to ensure the children are well cared for and supported throughout. The setting, communication with parents is well thought through and articulated. I would recommend to other parents looking for a nursery in the area.

We sent our daughter here after her cousin came here. The reviews from other parents have always been good, so we had no concerns sending here here. The other benefit is that thy open earlier than many nurseries in the area, which helps us with the daily commute.

My son has really enjoyed his time at nursery recently. He likes the wide range of toys and things to do. He seems to get on with the other children and carers much better than before, and is much happier. He loves playing outside, especially in the sandpit. I think he is much more settled now, and
the parents are happier too.

My daughter enjoys nursery and we feel she is sag=fe in their care. We have raised concerns over care and attention but generally we are satisfied. We have pushed for more feedback and explanations of progress which we felt were lacking, but those have been addressed.

Overall happy. My son enjoys lots of different activities, particularly going outdoors - facility is good. Staff generally interact well with the children and my son has built strong relationships with his peers and key workers. Language developing well.

My daughter attended the nursery for a few days over the 6 weeks holiday as part of a back up care plan. The days when she attended she really enjoyed and couldn't wait to return. The nursery is clean well kept with a lovely outdoor space where my daughter seemed to really enjoy. The staff who cared
for my daughter were approachable and gave great feedback of my daughters day. The nursery catered for her every need as she didn't like cereal so was offered fruit and they met her dietary requirements - no egg.

Throughout her extensive career, Janette has gained a profound understanding of the early years, shaping her approach to creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can thrive.

My love for child care began at the age of 17 when I enrolled on a Cache diploma in child care and education course and began placements working in nursery settings.


After gaining my level 3 qualification I began working in one of the nurseries where I did my placement. I worked there for 10 years, working with all age groups ranging from 0-5 years.


Starting as a level 3 practitioner I soon became a senior practitioner with the responsibility of running the toddler unit and then was promoted to third in charge. During my time at the nursery, I went on to study at university and gained a Foundation Degree in Early Year’s Child Hood Studies. This enabled me to gain even more knowledge to go along with my many years of experience. I am really looking forward to developing my career and the exciting future ahead of me by joining the Bright Horizons Timperley team.
