Bright Horizons Dorking Day Nursery and Preschool

Brilliantly professional and kind nursery workers. I was not expecting to have to send my daughter so young but due to the pandemic we had to. I am so pleased with how welcomed she was into nursery and she's truly happy to be there.

Fantastic nursery with brilliant, attentive and caring staff. My little one loves going and it is so great to be able to completely trust that they will have a fab day there. Cannot recommend the nursery highly enough.

Our little girl is always excited and happy going into nursery and coming home from nursery, which is so reassuring as a parent, and a testament to the team at Bright Horizons Dorking, their positivity is clearly a good influence!

My daughter joined in babies in 2018 after I attended all the local nursery’s and I can honestly say as soon as we arrived here we were very impressed. Everyone was very welcoming and lots of friendly faces. The team are amazing they all work so hard and my daughter thoroughly enjoys her days here. Her bond and friendship with the staff is lovely. If we have a difficult drop off (we all have those days) they are very supportive and happy to take check-in phone calls during the day. Very happy toddler = Very happy Mummy and Daddy.

Our little girl has blossomed since she started at nursery and that is all down to the dedication, knowledge and understanding of the fabulous team. They have been extremely flexible both at the beginning with the settle sessions and throughout the COVID 19 pandemic. Thank you!

Outstanding nursery - made so by the staff. My son loves being dropped off there in the morning and clearly loves his time there. He is really well looked after, well-fed and nurtured and has come on leaps and bounds in confidence. The staff care, and it shows. The nursery manager and her team communicate brilliantly and obviously love their work. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Our third child is now attending this nursery. We love that so many of the staff have seen our family grow with us. It has been a difficult year but our youngest has settled into the baby room so easily. She is happy to go in and not so fussed to come home! Sign of a good day! Thank you to all the staff!

As a parent, I highly recommend Bright Horizons Dorking.

Everyone at the nursery is very friendly and always helpful. My boy has attended the nursery since he was 12 months and made good friends and is always happy to go to the nursery. My little one has started now in the baby room and I’m sure he will have a great time as well.

A wonderful day nursery for our daughter. She settled in so quickly and has enjoyed going every day since. She has built lovely relationships with many members of staff who seem to enjoy what they do. The nursery feels safe and uplifting with a great garden space. Our daughter is looking forward to progressing up to the next class.

Nursery staff very supportive and management team have provided clarity and encouragement through the girls' nursery education. It would have been useful to use something like an online learning journal so we could access their progress especially in this current environment.

My child started when he was 9 months old and has now been there for just over a year. The settling in process was great and very reassuring. All the staff are friendly and very caring of the children taking the time to get to know them and their interests. The management are great keeping in really good contact and responding to queries very promptly. Even during this period of closure, there has been lots of efforts to keep in touch and provide activity ideas.

I couldn’t be happier with the nursery. The staff are absolutely lovely in every class and you can tell my little one enjoys it as she loves going, which for me is the most important thing. She comes back with new words and facts all the time, so she is learning and developing very well. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! My daughter loves her days here and I know she is being left in safe hands. All the staff I have spoken to are very welcoming and friendly. All of this has made my return to work so much easier, knowing my daughter is well cared for and enjoying her time at nursery.

I am very happy with my daughter's care at Bright Horizons Dorking. They offer excellent opening times. The staff are attentive and hard working. They treat each child as an individual. There are always lots of stimulating activities. At the end of the day we get a thorough handover so I know they have been attentive to her needs. I feel I can trust the staff so I know she is safe and well cared for.

Excellent staff who really care for our baby's wellbeing. Our son seems to thoroughly enjoy his time at the nursery. Always smiling. A true testament to all of the staff. Thank you!

My 11-month-old daughter attends Dorking Active Learning nursery full time and she is very happy there. The management and baby room staff are very supportive, enthusiastic about the activities and passionate individuals. We cannot thank you enough for taking good care of our baby girl, making her happy every day and helping in her development through creative and educational activities. Thank you!

My son has been attending the nursery for 21 months. He was welcomed into Jumblies at 18 months and settled in very nicely. The girls made me feel very happy leaving my son in their capable hands for a few days in the week. He has been taught and learnt so much, he is now in Preschool and now learning to write, with the encouragement of management and the rest of the team. I can highly recommend the nursery to all friends and family. I have never had any doubts. Thank you, ladies!

My little girl loves her time at Active Learning Dorking (Surrey). The staff form wonderful relationships with the children and play a pivotal role in their early development. They also show incredible empathy and consideration towards what might be happening at home. Whenever we have needed extra support or flexibility due to life’s ‘twists and turns’ we have always been blown away by the kind response of the staff.

The staff are lovely, the activities are stimulating, fun and age-appropriate across the board. The facilities are impressive too. What we really love is that my daughter's personality is encouraged to shine through.
