Everyone at the nursery is very friendly and always helpful. My boy has attended the nursery since he was 12 months and made good friends and is always happy to go to the nursery. My little one has started now in the baby room and I’m sure he will have a great time as well.
A wonderful day nursery for our daughter. She settled in so quickly and has enjoyed going every day since. She has built lovely relationships with many members of staff who seem to enjoy what they do. The nursery feels safe and uplifting with a great garden space. Our daughter is looking forward to progressing up to the next class.
Nursery staff very supportive and management team have provided clarity and encouragement through the girls' nursery education. It would have been useful to use something like an online learning journal so we could access their progress especially in this current environment.
My child started when he was 9 months old and has now been there for just over a year. The settling in process was great and very reassuring. All the staff are friendly and very caring of the children taking the time to get to know them and their interests. The management are great keeping in really good contact and responding to queries very promptly. Even during this period of closure, there has been lots of efforts to keep in touch and provide activity ideas.
I couldn’t be happier with the nursery. The staff are absolutely lovely in every class and you can tell my little one enjoys it as she loves going, which for me is the most important thing. She comes back with new words and facts all the time, so she is learning and developing very well. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough! My daughter loves her days here and I know she is being left in safe hands. All the staff I have spoken to are very welcoming and friendly. All of this has made my return to work so much easier, knowing my daughter is well cared for and enjoying her time at nursery.
I am very happy with my daughter's care at Bright Horizons Dorking. They offer excellent opening times. The staff are attentive and hard working. They treat each child as an individual. There are always lots of stimulating activities. At the end of the day we get a thorough handover so I know they have been attentive to her needs. I feel I can trust the staff so I know she is safe and well cared for.
Excellent staff who really care for our baby's wellbeing. Our son seems to thoroughly enjoy his time at the nursery. Always smiling. A true testament to all of the staff. Thank you!
My 11-month-old daughter attends Dorking Active Learning nursery full time and she is very happy there. The management and baby room staff are very supportive, enthusiastic about the activities and passionate individuals. We cannot thank you enough for taking good care of our baby girl, making her happy every day and helping in her development through creative and educational activities. Thank you!
My son has been attending the nursery for 21 months. He was welcomed into Jumblies at 18 months and settled in very nicely. The girls made me feel very happy leaving my son in their capable hands for a few days in the week. He has been taught and learnt so much, he is now in Preschool and now learning to write, with the encouragement of management and the rest of the team. I can highly recommend the nursery to all friends and family. I have never had any doubts. Thank you, ladies!
My little girl loves her time at Active Learning Dorking (Surrey). The staff form wonderful relationships with the children and play a pivotal role in their early development. They also show incredible empathy and consideration towards what might be happening at home. Whenever we have needed extra support or flexibility due to life’s ‘twists and turns’ we have always been blown away by the kind response of the staff.
The staff are lovely, the activities are stimulating, fun and age-appropriate across the board. The facilities are impressive too. What we really love is that my daughter's personality is encouraged to shine through.
My son has been there three months and we have had a really positive experience. The staff have gone above and beyond to help him settle in. He loves playing in the garden there.
Active Learning is a lovely, clean, safe and welcoming environment for little ones. My daughter attends two days a week and has a fantastic time. I love reading about all the activities she has been involved in throughout her day. The staff are kind and patient and bring out the best in her.
My son attends Active Learning Dorking twice a week and he is really happy there. I'm always pleased to hear about the number of activities he has been involved in during the day and he is growing in confidence all the time. The staff are lovely and really care about the children they look after. I would definitely recommend the nursery.
My son attends on a full-time basis and we can't thank the nursery staff enough for all that they have done for my son, and continue to do so every day. We have experience with two other nurseries in the Surrey area and can honestly say Active Learning Dorking is high above the rest and we would highly recommend it to friends and family. The staff are great and are always very approachable. The manager is the best and her deputy is always there to help. My son enjoys swimming, ballet and French lessons. More recently he has been enjoying cooking in the newly installed kitchen and the strong emphasis on Art at Active Learning Dorking is the one thing my son extremely enjoys. The nursery has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and the outdoor area is great for my son to burn off his bags of energy.
We chose Active Learning Dorking because of the space, variety of activities, the caring and friendly staff and the passion for keeping children safe. At our show around it seemed we would have no issues with our son settling in as he just wanted to play in every room. But then during the first week of him starting he had a cold and teething combined. All of the staff were fantastic with him! Now he loves going to nursery! He's made loads of friends and built fantastic relationships with all of the nursery. Couldn't be happier with the decision to go to this nursery and his transition.
I chose this nursery because the facilities are fantastic (baby sensory room, performance zone, food cooked on site, art zone, sectioned outdoor space), the activities are creative and often child stimulated, and the staff have great relations with the kids. My son has settled in brilliantly, due in no small part to the very caring approach of the staff. In particular, every member of the team (including managers) can tell me in detail how his day has been and can answer any query. I've found any incidents are also handled extremely professionally. It is a delight to leave my son there every day.
Now she asks me every morning if its nursery day, and is very settled and made lots of new friends and learnt lots of new things! I am very happy with the care and support of the nursery.
The staff have been very welcoming and supportive of our child who moved there from another nursery.
The staff are enthusiastic about the activities they do with the children.
