Bright Horizons Dorking Day Nursery and Preschool

My 2 1/2year old has been attending since she was 18 months old and absolutely loves coming to nursery she is always talking about the staff in the nursery and always has a good day. The staff have been amazing and very supportive with potty training and getting rid of her dummy. The app the nursery has is great, photos of her day are uploaded throughout the day and we can see how long she has slept and what/how much food she has eaten, you also get to see the progress of their development through the app by being able to look at observations and reports. Management are able to be contacted easily through the app and is great at adding my child in for an extra session if I need extra childcare. The staff care for my child is amazing and I know she is well looked after and loved at the nursery which has made me as a first-time mum feel very happy and confident dropping her off every week without any worries.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery. He is in the baby room and his key worker is amazing. She is so caring and he gets so excited to see her. The app is great for tracking what my son is doing, so I can see meal times, nappy changes and activities. At the end of every day, his key worker has time to talk with me about his day and how he got in. I'm very happy with my nursery choice and would recommend Bright Horizons to other parents.

Our two little boys are very happy here. The staff know them well and help them with their development. Transitions between rooms are well planned with settling-in sessions planned gradually to help them get used to the new room and staff. The staff are always engaged and friendly and keen to hear/share updates about my children. Communication is good via the app. It's really nice to see pictures of what they've been doing each day, to be able to talk to them about at home.

Our experience of this nursery has been a very positive one. Our child has honestly learned so much in the short time he has been here and his confidence amazes me every day. From day one in the baby room he was well cared for and formed a bond with a couple of the girls. He still gets to see one of them most days as they mix the children and let them explore different rooms which I believe has done wonders for my child’s socialisation and confidence around others. It’s also nice they don’t just stare at the same four walls every day! The transition to toddlers was seamless as he was already familiar with the staff (his new key worker is brilliant and very informative on handover), children and the room, which was such a relief to us. Now the weather is getting nicer he is spending more time outside. I find that he eats well here around the other children and naps well too. He leans into the staff as I hand him over when I drop him off and for me, that tells me everything I need to know.

A friendly, happy and welcoming nursery, where the staff genuinely care for my children. The staff supported us through the initial nervousness of starting, for each of my children and they now bound their way in to start their days. The parent app provides useful updates about nappy changes and what has or hasn't been eaten, alongside pictures of what my children are doing. I highly recommend Bright Horizons, Dorking for all ages.

We are so pleased that we decided to send our daughter to Bright Horizons in Dorking. The staff are amazing and give us so much reassurance that our daughter is receiving amazing care each time she attends. They are always there to chat and respond to any queries we may have. Our daughter loves going to nursery and she has grown in so many aspects. Her communication and social skills in particular have exceeded our expectations and we put that down to the fantastic experiences she has at nursery.

Very caring and interested staff, such imaginative and varied activities with lovely resources. The new app is great. Lots of photos and enjoying the new progress update function. Both children are very happy here and well cared for.

A team of caring, nurturing and hardworking women who go above and beyond to make our son feel safe, listened to and above all have fun. The nursery is spotlessly clean and the facilities are brilliant. He comes home having learned new skills and telling stories of the fun and engaging activities that they do each day. Especially given the hard year everyone’s had, I have to hold my hat off to the whole team and their dedication, in looking after the children so well. I hope this nursery and the wonderful staff, especially the head, gets the recognition it deserves.

A fabulous nursery, staffed by enthusiastic, energetic and caring people who go out of their way to encourage our children in their development. Both our kids love going and can't stop talking about the fun they have, while the feedback we get as parents, is detailed and helpful, both in person and through the nursery's app. Both our children started when they were 9 months old and our eldest is now in pre-school and they love seeing the staff who looked after them, when they were younger. They also love the food. Highly recommended!

Excellent nursery, all the staff are so helpful and made my granddaughter feel so at ease and comfortable and thoroughly helped teach her to be the best version of herself. Thank you, Dorking Nursery, you are all so kind.

My second child is now going through this nursery and we still adore it. The staff are amazing, they know and care for each child individually. They've brilliantly prepared my eldest for school and have cared for my second since he was 9 months old. He's 2 years old now and has a new obsession with the guitar, so they made him one from a tissue box and wooden spoon and he loves it. The staff took the time to discover and encourage his new passion, even in a full class and its things like that, that make them so special. A big chain, but a small family feeling.

My only regret is that I didn't enrol my daughter from a younger age!

Brilliantly professional and kind nursery workers. I was not expecting to have to send my daughter so young but due to the pandemic we had to. I am so pleased with how welcomed she was into nursery and she's truly happy to be there.

Fantastic nursery with brilliant, attentive and caring staff. My little one loves going and it is so great to be able to completely trust that they will have a fab day there. Cannot recommend the nursery highly enough.

Our little girl is always excited and happy going into nursery and coming home from nursery, which is so reassuring as a parent, and a testament to the team at Bright Horizons Dorking, their positivity is clearly a good influence!

My daughter joined in babies in 2018 after I attended all the local nursery’s and I can honestly say as soon as we arrived here we were very impressed. Everyone was very welcoming and lots of friendly faces. The team are amazing they all work so hard and my daughter thoroughly enjoys her days here. Her bond and friendship with the staff is lovely. If we have a difficult drop off (we all have those days) they are very supportive and happy to take check-in phone calls during the day. Very happy toddler = Very happy Mummy and Daddy.

Our little girl has blossomed since she started at nursery and that is all down to the dedication, knowledge and understanding of the fabulous team. They have been extremely flexible both at the beginning with the settle sessions and throughout the COVID 19 pandemic. Thank you!

Outstanding nursery - made so by the staff. My son loves being dropped off there in the morning and clearly loves his time there. He is really well looked after, well-fed and nurtured and has come on leaps and bounds in confidence. The staff care, and it shows. The nursery manager and her team communicate brilliantly and obviously love their work. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Our third child is now attending this nursery. We love that so many of the staff have seen our family grow with us. It has been a difficult year but our youngest has settled into the baby room so easily. She is happy to go in and not so fussed to come home! Sign of a good day! Thank you to all the staff!
