Bright Horizons Dorking Day Nursery and preschool is conveniently located close to Dorking train station and provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

With a large garden and in walking distance to a park, the children can take advantage of a variety of resources at the nursery, including an Art Studio and a sensory room for the younger children. The nursery also offers swimming lessons for the preschool children.

Our two little boys are very happy here. The staff know them well and help them with their development. Transitions between rooms are well planned with settling-in sessions planned gradually to help them get used to the new room and staff. The staff are always engaged and friendly and keen to hear/share
updates about my children. Communication is good via the app. It's really nice to see pictures of what they've been doing each day, to be able to talk to them about at home.

Our experience of this nursery has been a very positive one. Our child has honestly learned so much in the short time he has been here and his confidence amazes me every day. From day one in the baby room he was well cared for and formed a bond with a couple of the girls. He still gets to see one of
them most days as they mix the children and let them explore different rooms which I believe has done wonders for my child’s socialisation and confidence around others. It’s also nice they don’t just stare at the same four walls every day! The transition to toddlers was seamless as he was already familiar with the staff (his new key worker is brilliant and very informative on handover), children and the room, which was such a relief to us. Now the weather is getting nicer he is spending more time outside. I find that he eats well here around the other children and naps well too. He leans into the staff as I hand him over when I drop him off and for me, that tells me everything I need to know.

A friendly, happy and welcoming nursery, where the staff genuinely care for my children. The staff supported us through the initial nervousness of starting, for each of my children and they now bound their way in to start their days. The parent app provides useful updates about nappy changes and what
has or hasn't been eaten, alongside pictures of what my children are doing. I highly recommend Bright Horizons, Dorking for all ages.

We are so pleased that we decided to send our daughter to Bright Horizons in Dorking. The staff are amazing and give us so much reassurance that our daughter is receiving amazing care each time she attends. They are always there to chat and respond to any queries we may have. Our daughter loves going
to nursery and she has grown in so many aspects. Her communication and social skills in particular have exceeded our expectations and we put that down to the fantastic experiences she has at nursery.

A team of caring, nurturing and hardworking women who go above and beyond to make our son feel safe, listened to and above all have fun. The nursery is spotlessly clean and the facilities are brilliant. He comes home having learned new skills and telling stories of the fun and engaging activities that
they do each day. Especially given the hard year everyone’s had, I have to hold my hat off to the whole team and their dedication, in looking after the children so well. I hope this nursery and the wonderful staff, especially the head, gets the recognition it deserves.

A fabulous nursery, staffed by enthusiastic, energetic and caring people who go out of their way to encourage our children in their development. Both our kids love going and can't stop talking about the fun they have, while the feedback we get as parents, is detailed and helpful, both in person and
through the nursery's app. Both our children started when they were 9 months old and our eldest is now in pre-school and they love seeing the staff who looked after them, when they were younger. They also love the food. Highly recommended!

My second child is now going through this nursery and we still adore it. The staff are amazing, they know and care for each child individually. They've brilliantly prepared my eldest for school and have cared for my second since he was 9 months old. He's 2 years old now and has a new obsession with
the guitar, so they made him one from a tissue box and wooden spoon and he loves it. The staff took the time to discover and encourage his new passion, even in a full class and its things like that, that make them so special. A big chain, but a small family feeling.

I have seen vast improvements in my daughter's concentration and other skills since starting at Bright Horizons in Sept 2021. The school itself is very well set out, clean with a perfect balanced choice of meals/snacks. The staff are simply incredible, very caring, kind and helpful. My daughter really
does enjoy her time at preschool and always speaks of the staff and how much she likes them.
My only regret is that I didn't enrol my daughter from a younger age!

My daughter joined in babies in 2018 after I attended all the local nursery’s and I can honestly say as soon as we arrived here we were very impressed. Everyone was very welcoming and lots of friendly faces. The team are amazing they all work so hard and my daughter thoroughly enjoys her days here.
Her bond and friendship with the staff is lovely. If we have a difficult drop off (we all have those days) they are very supportive and happy to take check-in phone calls during the day. Very happy toddler = Very happy Mummy and Daddy.

Outstanding nursery - made so by the staff. My son loves being dropped off there in the morning and clearly loves his time there. He is really well looked after, well-fed and nurtured and has come on leaps and bounds in confidence. The staff care, and it shows. The nursery manager and her team communicate
brilliantly and obviously love their work. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

My child started at Bright Horizons Dorking just after turning one, now two and a half years later and we don't have a bad word to say. From feeding and naps in the baby room to the experiences and learning in the pre-school rooms, everything has been excellent.
The staff have been fantastic, communicating
well with us as parents and providing a great and fun learning environment. My child loves going to nursery and talks about staff and friends all the time.
As a parent, I highly recommend Bright Horizons Dorking.

A wonderful day nursery for our daughter. She settled in so quickly and has enjoyed going every day since. She has built lovely relationships with many members of staff who seem to enjoy what they do. The nursery feels safe and uplifting with a great garden space. Our daughter is looking forward to

Since gaining my NNEB qualification in 1995 I began my career in Childcare, and have worked within Bright Horizons since 2003 where I have worked in various settings across the regions, starting as a Nursery Nurse and working up to my current role as Nursery Manager since 2013.


I enjoy all aspects of my role and work alongside my team to provide the children in our care with the best opportunities for learning and play.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Paige has been with Bright Horizons since 2016, during which she completed her Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development. Starting as a nursery assistant, she steadily advanced to the position of Deputy Manager. Currently, Paige serves as the nursery’s SENCO (Special Needs Coordinator) and holds a Level 3 Award in Early Years SEN Coordination. At Dorking, the team collaborates to ensure all children under their care receive enriching learning opportunities conducive to their growth and development.


Paige is deeply committed to providing exceptional care and provision to the children, fostering a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment. Witnessing the children's learning, development, and progress within the nursery brings her immense joy and fulfilment.
