Bright Horizons Dorking Day Nursery and Preschool

My daughter has a wonderful experience on the days she attends nursery at Bright Horizons nursery. It is a nurturing, caring environment with well planned activities as well as free flow activities too. We have been more than happy with her development and she looks forwards to going in always with a big smile on her face.

Our son has been here for nearly two years and we've always been happy with the nursery. He enjoys it and the staff are helpful. Management is also very good and have been flexible at various times with our changing nursery needs, which has been much appreciated. We'd like if they'd be more consistent uploading photos/details of the day into the app each day, but we know they've got a lot going on! The meals are wonderful and our son always eats everything.

My daughter has attended Bright Horizons Dorking for over 2 years and it has been a brilliant nursery for her. The rooms and resources are well maintained and regularly updated, the staff are exceptional, with low turnover, and you can see how they are given lots of progression opportunities as a number of the staff we've known have had promotions in the last 2 years. My daughter has formed affectionate relationships with a number of the staff and I've always been impressed by how they genuinely care for her and the wider family (e.g. asking about other life events etc). Really responsive to any feedback, very professional, good communication systems in place, great food menu for the kids, and constant drive to improve too! I would recommend without reservation!

My son has been at Bright Horizons Dorking since January 2026 and I could not recommend any better nursery. I feel comfortable leaving him there and knowing he is going to be well looked after. I can tell he had a great time and comes home tired after a fun day. I also love how he's really bonded with his key person.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery here, and especially her key worker who always makes her feel welcome, comforted and confident in her surroundings. The nursery also has great communication with parents, which provides further security for me.

We feel great about our child attending Bright Horizons Dorking and are very satisfied with the staff and team. Our child seems very happy and the nursery did a great job helping settle our family into the nursery setting.

As grandmother of two children at nursery - a four year old and a two year old - I only pick up/drop off intermittently but have always found all the staff to be very helpful, caring, friendly and efficient. The nursery is bright, cheerful and clean - a lovely environment for the children to spend their days. Both children run in happily which is great. A lovely nursery!

She has had a solid start to her education, we couldn't be more pleased that we chose Bright horizons for her nursery.

Since my daughter started nursery here, she loves it so much. The staff is really nice and friendly and always know how to get my daughter to easily join in with others every morning i drop her off. They are always professional and keep the kids entertained with daily tasks and activities. I would definitely recommend them if looking for a great nursery/ preschool.

We could not recommend any better nursery than Bright Horizons Dorking. Our son joined the nursery in July 2025 when he was 8 months old. The team made us feel welcome and assured that he would be well looked after and cared for. It's really interesting getting updates from the team about the different activities he got up too and all the different types of food he'd eaten. It's such a relief knowing his needs are being taken care off by such an amazing team of people.

We've been with bright horizons dorking since Nov 2022 when our daughter turned 9 months old. We've had such a great experience - the staff, the facilities and the care and patience which our daughter has gotten is excellent. We would highly recommend it here! Our daughter really took to one of the caretakers here and we feel our daughter is safe and taken care of here. :)

I honestly can not recommend BH enough, from their activities to naturing the children. I am very grateful that my son is well taken care of, also the fact that I don't have to think about breakfast in the morning or nappies.

I can't stress how pivotal Bright Horizons' staff have been to our son's development and it was a joy watching him grow over his years there. Thanks for everything. Highly recommend!

Both our children currently attend Bright Horizons and both are very happy there and look forward to their nursery days. The staff are always professional and caring and they are well supported and nurtured. We have been very happy with the facilities and learning programme and the regular photos and updates uploaded onto the app are a really good feature. We would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery.

This nursery is lovely! The staff are very professional, whilst being friendly and approachable. My granddaughter is really happy here - which is the most important thing. The staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble.

All of the staff at Bright Horizons Dorking Day Nursery and Preschool are so kind and so friendly. My daughter really loves her nursery teachers. They are very supportive when the children struggle to say goodbye to parents in the morning, which is a comfort to everyone! I love the fact that all the staff know all the children, including the nursery manager, it feels like they are all really invested in the children's care. The range of activities they do with the children is fantastic and the outdoor space is lovely.

Great nursery - really caring staff that have helped my daughter adjust beautifully! Also love the meal varieties and the app as well. Photos are frequently posted giving you peace of mind as a parent during the day.

My child has thrived at Bright Horizons Dorking Day Nursery and Preschool. She has developed so well socially, as well as from an educational perspective. The staff are fantastic and very supportive. They put on a range of interesting and fun tasks to keep the children entertained and engaged while they learn.

My granddaughter is so happy here. Comes in happily each day. She has grown in confidence and independence. The staff really understand her likes and needs. She loves playing in the garden and this happens frequently.
