Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road Day Nursery and Preschool

My child has been at Asquith for two years. He loved 'Harvey House' so much he referred to it as 'Happy House.' Over the past two years, he has developed and is ready for school. Staff are brilliant and he loves it here, especially pre-school with the team.

Very much enjoyed the fun day, my son had lots of fun playing with all the games and activities. Plenty to do and lots of cold juice. I was also informed on my son's new room which was very helpful.

Always great to come in, spend a few hours seeing what the children get up to, see how they are progressing and getting to speak to the staff. Also good when the sun is shining as there is food on offer and you are given plenty of refreshing beverages.

I attended the nursery fun day and it was a great event. The children were relaxed and enjoyed themselves a lot. I would highly recommend the nursery as my son love it and the staff are great.

What more could you want!

We have just attended a grandparent's afternoon tea session at my daughter's nursery and once again I have left feeling overwhelmed with how excellent the staff and facilities are. It was a special occasion whereby we could spend time getting to know the staff whilst playing with our children and given time to learn more about what they do on a daily basis. I am so happy we found this nursery and our daughter has the opportunity to learn with the excellent team.

We immediately knew it was the right place for our daughter as all staff were welcoming and friendly.

She's grown in confidence as the days have gone on and she's going to love coming moving forward.

My daughter loved attending Harpenden pre-school. She came on so much in the year she was here. She always had a good relationship with her keyworkers, especially her keyworker in Nursery 2.

My son is very happy at Asquith. He is two and he settles in really well each morning. He has a good relationship with his key worker and the other carers. The staff are all friendly, professional and trustworthy. I feel comfortable that when I drop my son off he is going to be well looked after and assisted and encouraged with his development. It is lovely to hear at handover each evening the variety of activities he has been doing each day. I am so glad I chose this nursery.

Both my son and daughter started at Harpenden Pre-School and Nursery in November 2017. All the teachers and staff really made them feel very welcome and at home.

Excellent communication with parents.

The nursery is excellent. Both my children are very happy here. The staff are engaging and the children full of life and inquisitiveness. It is a safe and caring environment where the children learn a lot through play and creativity. I thoroughly recommend it.

My child loves going to nursery. The staff take very good care of him and there are no issues when I drop him off in a morning. He gets on very well with his key worker. She has a very good relationship with him and I can tell that she cares for him. My child is involved in lots of different and fun daily activities. The staff take photos which they give to us to take home. It is always nice to see what they have been up to. The menu has lots of variety and includes a good range of vegetables, fruit and healthier desserts. My child eats all of his meals every day. The only downside of the nursery is how expensive it is.

The staff are Harpenden Pre-School and Nursery are fantastic. They take such good care of the children. I always trust that my son is in excellent hands.

Real care and a nurturing environment provided for our 16month old son. Clear relationships with lovely keyworkers, have helped him enormously grow into this nursery. We have seen great development in all areas. He has matured and developed his happy and social personality. Much care and attention to dietary requirements. A safe and secure environment. A small matter was dealt with very professionally, with great communication from management through to keyworkers.

I find the care provided is excellent. The staff really care about the children. My little boy enjoys it very much.

My son is only 7 months old but knows what nursery means and looks forward to going. He has already been able to take part in lots of fun activities and I don't have to worry as his standard of care is brilliant.

As indicated below, the experience that our 2 children have at the nursery, and mine and my wife's experience, is extremely positive in all respects. The staff are extremely competent and helpful and are always positive and professional. Suffice it to say, the children genuinely love to go to the nursery every day and are extremely attached to the carers and are benefitting in all respects from the facilities provided but above all, from the atmosphere that the staff all create and maintain at the nursery. The attention to detail in order to achieve in all respects the experience of our children is first class. The staff go the extra mile for a real attachment to the children.
