We've just settled our second child at Bright Horizons Luton Road after our eldest graduated from Preschool. Our little girl had a very wobbly start as she found leaving me very upsetting. The toddler team helped us through it, with as many settling sessions as we needed and lots of updates during the settling days. She now absolutely loves it and we are greeted with big smiles and lots of brilliant stories of all the activities she's been up to.

This nursery truly feels like a home away from home for our children. The staff are so caring, attentive and enjoy spending time with the children. Ellen, Rose and the whole management team are fantastic: knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help with any questions or challenges. At the end of each day our little ones come home happy and we love hearing about the fun and engaging activities they've done. We couldn't be more grateful for the nurturing environment and the positive impact the nursery has had on their confidence and development.

Hurrah for Bright Horizons Luton Road! It never fails to amaze me the creative way they teach my son such cool stuff. I often drop off late and collect early and the children always look so engaged and happy. The food looks delicious and my son is always disappointed if he misses tea. The outdoor space is great, although I could do with less sand in his shoes! Above all, the staff are lovely and encouraging, both of my son and of me, as I figure out this whole parenting adventure.

Amazing nursery! Sent my son in from 12 months and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so welcoming and warm. I could not be leaving him in better hands. The activities they do are wide ranging, educational and incredibly fun! The food is nutritious and facilities excellent. Would highly recommend

Great preschool with amazing staff. My daughter has come a long way emotionally and developmentally since starting here. The staff are attentive to her needs and I feel comfortable that she is in safe hands. Would definitely recommend.

My 2.5-year-old daughter has been attending this nursery for nearly eighteen months and we have found the care and management to be excellent. The staff are very understanding and clearly love the kids, my daughter will remain here until she starts school.

Our daughter has attended Bright Horizons Luton Road for the last 2 and a half years. We have always been confident about the great care she is receiving, the staff are warm, personable and engaging with the children and parents alike. We have always felt the staff and managers have the best interests of the children at heart. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the nursery to others.

My son has been attending here for a while now and he is so happy – it feels like a second home to him. My little one has much more confident since starting at nursery and his development has come on in leaps in bounds. All of the staff are so nurturing and supportive and they provide him with so much care, attention and positivity. I have always found the key workers to be very communicative and the admin team are so efficient. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my son.

This is a lovely nursery. Above all the staff genuinely care about the children, whose days are safe, varied, educational and fun. We have 2 children at the nursery, at either end of the age range, and both love going there. Nurseries are very expensive right now and the 15 free hours don’t make a huge difference. However, I have no hesitation in recommending Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road.

The team are one of a kind, so caring and helpful. They have a wonderful bond with our twins who take part in fun and creative activities every day. The outside space is great and provides the most amenities of all the nurseries in Harpenden. We are provided with regular daily updates and pictures, as well as progress and development reports. We couldn’t recommend them more!

Both my children, aged two and one, have recently started at Bright Horizons, and the staff have gone above and beyond to help settle them in so well. Both children have developed great relationships with the staff already and love going to the nursery. I would highly recommend.

We've been so happy to send our son to Bright Horizons from around the age of 9/10 months. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic. He loves going there every day - it truly is a second home for him. The management are very involved and responsive too - contacting us and keeping us updated when our son hasn't been feeling 100%, etc to discuss this with us. Would be very happy to recommend.

Both our girls are incredibly happy at Bright Horizons Luton Road. They skip in every morning and are all smiles when I come to collect them. The staff are wonderful, welcoming, engaging and really caring. We are very happy we chose Luton Road Bright Horizons.

I was really anxious about my son starting nursery at the tender age of 3 months, however the nursery team have been absolutely amazing helping us settle in. The team’s commitment, care and support has been invaluable for us in our journey. We couldn’t have wished for a better nursery for our baby boy.

Our eldest son is now at school but absolutely loved his time at Bright Horizons Harpenden Luton Road. We saw him flourish emotionally, socially and educationally. Our youngest is still there and loves it. The staff are amazing-warm, kind and nurturing, and the nursery is run impeccably by the manager and her team.

My child has been very happy here. When you ask him his friends' names, he also includes the staff names. His learning has been fantastic, and he is a very emotionally intelligent boy now, and his speech has come leaps and bounds.

My daughter gets so excited when we pull up outside nursery. She loves going here and all the staff take such good care of her. It makes leaving her so much easier when I know the staff are amazing with her and she wants to be there.

I have had all three of my children at this nursery over the past eight years, which I think says a lot in itself. During that time, I have seen many developments, including management changes, building refurbishment and the introduction of policies to adequately manage childcare through a pandemic. Throughout all of this, the quality of care has been excellent and seamless. I feel that my children have been looked after by staff who are competent, well trained, motivated and, most importantly, kind. The nursery management seems to have instilled an ethos that places an emphasis on the happiness of the children. Of course, there have been times when my children wanted to stay at home rather than be in a nursery. However, they invariably come out with big smiles on their faces, telling me about days filled with activities and learning that I couldn't hope to have emulated at home. The lunches are also well designed to be nutritionally balanced. I always recommend the nursery to friends.

Our two boys absolutely love their nursery and preschool every day! The staff and the management are amazing, always so supportive. Our boys enjoy the outdoor gardens and it’s so cute to see them playing happily when picking them up, especially in summer when the weather is nice. The best choice in Harpenden, for sure.

Our two boys absolutely love their nursery and preschool every day! The staff and the management are amazing, always so supportive. Our boys enjoy the outdoor gardens and it’s so cute to see them playing happily when picking them up, especially in summer when the weather is nice. The best choice in Harpenden, for sure.
